
WARNING: Basic precautions should always be followed when using your vacuum. To reduce the risk of injury, electrical shock or re, comply
with the safety rules listed below:
1. The vacuum is equipped with a power cord with grounded plug. This plug must be connected to an approved grounded outlet only.
2. When performing ANY MAINTENANCE on the unit, be sure that is unplugged from the electrical outlet
3. DO NOT consume any hot or ammable materials with the vacuum. Things like gasoline, oil, alcohol and so on can cause a re and or an
explosion resulting in injury.
4. When inserting or removing the power cord, do not pull on or yank the cord itself, doing so may damage the cord and result in unsafe
operating conditions.
5. THE AUTO START PLUG IS ALWAYS LIVE WHEN THE UNIT IS PLUGGED IN. When plugging a machine or power tool into the auto start plug,
be sure that the vacuum and the machine or power tool is in the off position.
6. DO NOT use the lter that came with the unit for wet or damp cleanup. This may damage the lter and motor.
7. DO NOT use the system without the lter cartridge or the cloth lter bag. Not using the lters during operation will damage the motor.
1. The Summit Wet / Dry Vac comes mostly pre-assembled right out of the box. If there are any parts that are not assembled, please refer to
the drawing above.
2. Before using the unit, be sure that all the necessary parts are properly assembled and secured before turning it on.
3. This vacuum system can be use as either a wet or dry vacuum system. To use it as wet vac system you must have the optional lter (not
included) for safe and proper use of the unit. Not using the optional lter will result in damaging the unit.
4. The system comes with an assortment of attachments for diff erent clean-up situations. These attachments are pressure tted and can be
easily taken apart by rotating and pulling at the same time.
