openthedoor tostiryourfood.
ARRANGEMENT
Arrange unevenlyshaped foods,suchas
chicken piecesorchops,withthethicker,
meatier partstoward theoutside ofthe
turntablewhere theyreceivemore microwave
energy.Topreventovercooking,placedelicate
areas,suchasasparagustips,toward the
center oftheturntable.
SHIELDING
Shieldfood withnarrowstripsofaluminumfoil
topreventovercooking.Areasthatneed
shieldinginclude poultrywingtips,theendsof
poultrylegs,andcornersofsquare baking
dishes.Useonlysmallamountsofaluminum

TURNING
Turnfoodsover midwaythroughcookingto
exposeallpartstomicrowaveenergy.Thisis
especiallyimportantwithlarge foodssuchas
roasts.
STANDING
Foodscooked inthemicrowavebuildup

minutesafter heatingstops.Letfoodsstandto

1. Turnofftheovenandremovethepower
plugfromthewall socket before cleaning.
2. Keep theinside oftheovenclean.When
food splattersor spilled liquidsadhere to
ovenwalls,wipe withadampcloth.Mild
detergentmaybe usediftheovengets
verydirty. Avoidtheuseofsprayandother
harshcleanersastheymaystain,streak
or dull thedoor surface.
3. Theoutsidesurfacesshouldbe cleaned
withadampcloth.Topreventdamage to
theoperatingpartsinside theoven,water
shouldnotbe allowed toseep intothe
ventilationopenings.
4. Wipe thedoor andwindowonbothsides,
thedoorsealsandadjacentparts
frequentlywithadampclothtoremove
anyspillsorspatters.Donotuseabrasive
cleaner.
5. Donotallowthecontrolpaneltobecome
wet. Cleanwithasoft, dampcloth.When
cleaningthecontrolpanel,leaveoven
door opentopreventovenfrom
accidentallyturningon.
6. Ifsteamaccumulatesinside or aroundthe
outside oftheovendoor,wipe withasoft
cloth.Thismayoccurwhenthemicrowave
ovenisoperated underhighhumidity
conditions. Insuchcase, it isnormal.
7. Itisoccasionallynecessarytoremovethe
glasstrayfor cleaning.Washthetrayin
warmsudsy water or inadishwasher.
8. Theroller ringandovenfloor shouldbe
cleaned regularlytoavoidexcessivenoise.
Simplywipe thebottomsurfaceofthe
ovenwithmilddetergent.Theroller ring
maybe washed inmildsudsywater or
dishwasher.Whenremovingtheroller ring
fromcavityfloor for cleaning,be sure to
replaceintheproper position.
9. Removeodorsfromyourovenby
combiningacupofwater withthejuice
andskinofonelemoninadeep
microwaveablebowl,microwavefor 5
minutes.Wipe thoroughlyanddrywitha
soft cloth.
10. Whenit becomesnecessarytoreplacethe
ovenlight, pleaseconsultadealer tohave
it replaced.
11. Theovenshouldbe cleaned regularlyand
anyfood depositsremoved.Failure to
maintaintheoveninacleancondition
couldlead todeteriorationofthesurface
thatcouldadverselyaffectthelifeofthe
applianceandpossiblyresultina
hazardoussituation.
