During daylight solar olle tors gather energy from the sun and store it in
re hargeable NiCad batteries housed internally in the weatherproof unit.
At night the Solar Flood Light turns on automati ally.
Easy to install, Solar Flood Light is great for spotlighting and ba klighting
the outdoors. It is fully arti ulated so you an position the Solar Flood
Light in any dire tion. Ground stake and mounting bra ket offer ustom
installation.
PRIOR TO USE
1. Twist off the Cover (rim around the lens) lo kwise.
2. Pull out Plasti Strip to a tivate the re hargeable batteries.
3. Repla e the Cover twist ounter lo kwise to lo k in pla e.
Make sure to tightly lose.
INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT To get maximum results please make sure you install the
flood light in a sunny lo ation where they an get at least 8 hours of dire t
sunlight a day. Shadows will prevent the solar panel from fully absorbing
the light.
Gr und Stake Installati n
1. Conne t the Ground Stake with the Flood Light Base.
2. Insert the pointed end into the ground.
3. Turn the Flood Light Base in the desired dire tion.
Tighten the knob on e set in the orre t dire tion.
4. Rotate the solar panel so as to fa e the sun.
M unting Bracket Installati n
1. Sele t area for mounting. Mount the bra ket to the wall or any
other hard surfa e.
2. Conne t the mounting bra ket with the Flood Light Base.
Turn the Flood Light Base in the desired dire tion. Tighten the
knob on e set in the orre t dire tion.
3. Rotate the solar panel so as to fa e the sun.
Tr uble Sh ting
Solar Flood Light’s performan e depends on the amount of dire t
sunlight that is available. If your Solar Flood Light is not operating refer
to the possible reasons and suggestions below.
Dim Light
• Batteries are not fully harged. To get the maximum results please
make sure you install the flood lights in a sunny lo ation where they
may re eive at least 8 hours of sunlight a day.
• If it has been loudy or over ast during the day the batteries may not
be fully re harged. The batteries will re harge on the next sunny day.
• There may be a shadow ast over the solar panel during the day. Move
the obstru tion or the pla ement of the Solar Flood Light.
• The solar panel may be dirty. Wipe the solar panel off with a damp
loth. You may need to wait for a full sunny day for the light to
fun tion properly again.
Absence f Light
• There may be a light ast on the Solar Flood Light during the evening
preventing the flood light from re ognizing darkness and turning on.
Remove the light sour e or move the Solar Flood Light to a different
lo ation.
• The re hargeable batteries may need to be repla ed. Repla e with the
same size and type.
