AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE INTENDED USE. TAKE SPECIAL NOTE OF
ALL WARNINGS LISTED IN THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
* Only operate the SUNGLIFE Solar Radio for its
intended purpose and within the parameters
specified in this manual.
* This device is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilies,
or lack of experience and nowledge, unless
supervised or given appropriate instrucon
concerning the product's use by a person
responsible for their safety.
* This device is not a toy and is not intended for use
by children. Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with the device.
General Precauons
1. When using an electrical device, basic precauons
should always be followed, including the following.
2. If the device is not funconing properly, has been
dropped, damaged, le outdoors in adverse weather,
or immersed in liquid, do not use. Risk of personal
injury is present if using a damaged device.
3. Do not use the device if any parts appear to be
faulty, missing or damaged.
4. This device contains no user serviceable parts.
User maintenance or modificaon will void
any warranty and may put the user at risk of harm.
Cables and Plug Connecon
1. Do not handle the USB cable or device with wet
hands. Check to ensure your electricity supply
matches that shownon the rang plate. The
product should only be used with a supply as rated.
2. Do not use with a damaged charging cableor USB
connecon. If the supply cable is damaged, it must
be replaced by a suitable replacement in order to
avoid a hazard.
3. Do not pull the cable around sharp edges or corners.
Do not leave unaended whilst the device is
charging, or the device is charging other electronic
items. Turn the device off and unplug any cables
when not in use.
4. Do not disconnect the device or any connected
electronic items by pulling on the cable. To unplug,
grasp the USB connecon only. Ensure the cable is
stored safely to prevent hazards.
APPROPRIATE USE
1. Do not insert any objects into openings or cover
the device. Keep hair, loose clothing,fingers and
all body parts away from any openings and moving
parts such as the crank mechanism.
2. Pay close aenon to how you are holding the
device whilst cranking the Crank Handle to charge.
Ensure you hold the device securely in a way that
does not trap your fingers or skin in the mechanism.

3. The device may become hot aer long periods of
charging. Take extra care when handling the device.
4. Do not place the device near any heated surfaces
suchas camping stoves or fires.
5. Do not store in heated or humid areas such as
saunas or steam rooms. If using in bathrooms,
ensure sufficient venlaon.
6. Only operate within specified temperature range
(refer to the 'Specificaons' page).
7. When charging outdoors, do not allow the device
to get wet.
8. Do not expose this device to rain or moisture. Do
not immerse in water or any other liquid for any
reason.Take care to protect the device from high
humidity and rain.
9. Collapse the antennae if you are exposed during
alightning storm.
10. Turn off the device immediately if liquid has been
spilled or any object has fallen into the apparatus.
11. Do not stare directly into the Flashlight or shine it
towards your face, bystanders, animals or the
operator of any vehicle.
12. Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use harsh
abrasive detergents or chemical solvents as this
might damage the finish.
Battery Safety
1. If the volume appears to be low, this indicates
that the baery requires charging. Always turn
the device off before cranking to charge.
2. Do not crank for more than 20minutes when it
has run out of power completely.
3. It is recommended that you crank the Crank
Handle to charge for at least 1 minute every month
to prolong the baery's lifespan.
4. This device contains a 3.7V Li-ionINR18650
2000mAh rechargeable Lithium-ion baery,
which is not intended to be removed.
5. Rechargeable baeries should only be recharged
underadult supervision.
6. At the end of the device's useable life, the baery
should be removed safely and carefully and
recycled/disposed of in accordance with local
authority orgovernment guidelines.
7. Do not dispose of baeries in your household waste.
8. Do not dispose of baeries in a fire.
9. Do not crush, puncture, dismantle or otherwise
damage the baery.
10. Do not aempt to short circuit the baery or
the supply terminals for any reason.

WARNING!
To prevent possible hearing damage,
do not listen at high volume levels for
long periods.
Radio Operation
1. Use the " Power Switch" to select Li-ion baery or AAA baery
before use.
2. Turn on the " Volume Buon"dial clockwise to power on the radio
and adjust the volume.
3. Select the AM/FM/WB band with" Radio Tuner Buon".
Extand the " Telescopic Antenna" to get beer signal recepon.
4. Use " TURNNI NG" buon to select staon. Green " Frequency
Tuner Indicator" light turns on when the staon selected is fully engaged.
5. Set the <US B Charging & SOS Alarm On/Off> to" " posion before
using the USB Output and Micro U SB Input funcon.
6. When charging the radio by hand crank, solar panel or USB connecon,
the < Charging Indicator >light will be on red, and red light turns
green aer fully charged.
NOTE:
Charging, discharging protecon
When baery is over loading or short circut, it would stop output
automacally.
When baery voltage is lower than 2.5V, the radio will cut off automacally.
WB (WEATH ER BAND) only available in North America.

Rechargeable Li-ion battery
and AAA battery
1. The baery compartment is in the
rear of the unit.
2. The rechargeable Lithium-ion
baery has been disconnected for
transportaon purposes.
3. Before using the unit, please set the
<Power Switch> to "LI-ION"posion or
“AAA” posion,and connect the
rechargeable baery. The <Power Switch>
buon is in the boom of the unit.
NOTE:
The rechargeable Lithium-ion baery
and AAA baeries can supply the power
separately.
The radio supports with 3 AAA baeries
(not included)
Solar Power
1. Set the < Power Switch> to "LI-ION"posion.
2. Put the unit in the sunlight, make the solar panel of the unit
is irradiated directly by the sunlight.
3. If the sunlight is enough strong, the light of < Charging Indicator>
in the front of the unit will be on red.

Charging Options
Solar Charging (Li-ion battery)
1. Set the < Power Switch> to "LI-ION "posion.
2. Put the unit in the sunlight, make the solar panel of the unit is irradiated
directly by the sunlight. The unit will charge the Li-ion baery automacally.
3. If the sunlight is enough strong, the light of < Charging Indicator> in the front
of the unit will be on red, and red light turns green aer fully charged.
NOTE: It is mostly used for maintaining the baery , to extend its life.
In order to prolong Lithium-ion baery, please turn off the radio
before charging.
1. Set the <Power Switch> to "LI-ION" posion.
2. Turning the hand crank, the built-in dynamo will start to generate
electricity(Crank charge by turning either way).The unit will charge
the Lithium-ion baery automacally.
3. While charging, the light of < Charging Indicator> in the front of the unit
will be on red, and red light turns green aer fully charged.
NOTE: 1 minute (crank speed>=120rmp) to produce 5-7 minutes of
connuous LED flashlight or 3-5 minutes of connuous radio usage.
USB Computer Charging (Lithium-ion battery)
In order to prolong Lithium-ion baery, please turn off the radio before charging.
1. Set the <Power Switch> to "LI-ION"posion.
2. Set the <US B Charging & SOS Alarm On/Off> to" " posion.
3.Plug one port of the matched USB cable into the USB jack of the computer,
plug the other port into the<Micro USB Input>of the unit.The unit will charge
the Li-ion baery automacally.
4.While charging,the light of<Charging Indicator>in the front of the unit will
be on red,and red light turns green aer fully charged.

NOTE: The longest charging time is 6 hours.
WARNING! Do not leave on charge connuously.
The radio should not be le connected to power when
not in need of charging as this can present a hazard and
reduce the lifespan of the device.
Charging Cell Phone
1.Set the <Power Switch> to "LI-ION"posion or "AAA"posion.
2.Set the <USB Charging & SOS Alarm On/Off> to " "posion.
3.Connect the mobile and radio via US B cable.
4.While charging, the light of <Charging Indicator> in the front of the
unit will be on red, and red light turns green aer fully charged.
5.Cell phone can be charged using the hand crank/AAA baeries if
needed, but as the last charging opon.
NOTE: Not suitable for charging tablets.
NOTE:
The unit might not charge some of the cell phone, which has the
especial requirements about the voltage and current (5V/550±50mA).
This feature is intented to only charged USB devices for emergency use,
not a normal power bank.
Disconnect USB connecon when you are using the radio to receive the
AM band, or it may have noise interfere for radio.

Using SOS Alarm
Set the <USB Charging & SOS Alarm On/Off>
to SOS" posion, the siren will be on.
Set the <USB Charging & SOS Alarm On/Off>
to the middle of the buon, the siren will be off.

Pull up the solar panel, the reading
light will be on.
Pull down the solar panel to it's
original locaon, the light will be off.

NOTE: You can use the FLA SHLIGHT, READING LAMP and SIREN in
any power mode.

Care and Maintenance
Disposal Information
For electrical products sold within the European Community, at the end
of the electrical product's useful life, it should not be disposed of with
household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.Contact your local
authority for details of collection schemes in your area.
In all circumstances:
Do not dispose of in domestic waste.
Do not incinerate.
Do not abandon in the environment.
Do not dispose of WEEE (waste electricals) as
unsorted municipal waste.
HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR BATTERIES
Do not put in fire or mutilate. Cells may burst and
release toxic material.
Do not short-circuit cells as this may cause fire or
burns.
The battery must be removed from the device before
being scrapped.The battery is to be disposed of safely.
DISPOSAL
Do not mutilate batteries as corrosive electrolytes and flammable
materials will be released.
Do not incinerate - Danger of explosion and release of toxic fu
Do not dispose of batteries or cells in a charged condition.
Expired Lithium-ion batteries must be recycled/disposed of in
accordance with the appropriate regulationor legislation, They
should be returned to your local warranty agent/stockist or local
recycling centre.
Pull the antenna GENTLY to get better reception and retract it properly
when not in use. To carry out open and close the Telescopic Antenna fully.
Never force the Antenna.
Wipe the outside of unit with a soft, damp cloth.
Don't clean unit with harsh abrasive / any solvents.
Unit is not waterproof-only water-resistant. Do not submerge in water.
When unit idles over 60 days, please hand crank for 3-5 minutes to active
the internal battery.
Do not leave the Radio in a vehicle in extreme temperatures such as on a
dashboard or in direct sunlight.
