BeforeyouuseyourInternet Radio, youneedthefollowing:
Wireless LANSetting:
·Abroadband Internet connection.
·Awireless accesspoint (Wi-Fi)connected toyourbroadband Internet, preferablyvia arouter.
·Ifyourwireless network isconfigured touseWired Equivalent Privacy (WEP)orWi-FiProtected
Access (WPA)dataencryption then you need toknowthe WEPorWPAcode soyou can get the
Internet Radiotocommunicatewiththe network.
·Ifyourwireless network isconfigured fortrusted stationsyou will need toenterthe Radio’sMAC
addressintoyourwireless accesspoint. Tofind the Radio’sMACaddressusemenu itemsas
follows:

·Toenterthe MACaddressintoyourwireless accesspoint,you must read the instructions

Step1-PowerupRadio
First,connecttoyourInternetRadioadaptorand ensurethe PowerLEDislightup.Inuse, Radiocan
be switched on oroff bypress button.
Step2-connecttotheinternet
1.Press SELECT toenterInternet Radiomode.
Alternatively, you maypress MODE repeatedlyuntil ‘Internetradio’showsup, stop pressing.

1.Press or untilyourregionisshowsup, press SELECT toconfirm,then yourradiowillaskyou to
enternetwork.

1.InsomecasesRadio mayfind morethan one network.Press or tocyclethrough the namelist,
and then press SELECT when the nameof yourownnetwork isdisplayed.
2.If yournetwork isnotconfigured torequestapassword(WEP/WPA), radio willconnect tothe network
and display:
3.IfaWEP/WPAkey(password)isrequired, radiowillnow askyou toinput the WEP/WPAcode and will
displaythe passwordentry screen asfollows:

Afteryourradiohassuccessful connected tonetwork, you arenowreadytoselect astation.

5.PlaybackBufferofStation
Thisdisplaysthe playback bufferstrengthof current station.

Date
ofStation
Thisdisplaysthe dateand isprovided bythe broadcastersowill
be accurate.
Station Updates
Occasionally,Radiowilltellyou thatit isreceiving an updated station list.Itdoesthisautomaticallyand
periodically, ensuring yourRadioalwayshasthe lateststation directory on-board.

A.GENERALOPERATION
1. SwitchRadioon and press MODE repeatedlyuntil<FMRADIO>isshowsup. Forinitial use, it will
start atthe beginning of theFMfrequency range (87.50MHz).Otherwise, the last FMstation you
werelistening towillbe selected.
FNote: toenterthismode,youmayalsopresstogoesbackto<MAINMENU>, andthenpressor to
<FMradio>,press SELECT toconfirm.
2. Press or toincreaseordecreasethe frequency by0.05MHzperstep.
3. To ‘SEEK’activestationautomatically, press and holdor , oralternativelypress SCAN.
FNote: a.To seeking’the nextactivestation automatically, repeatstep 3.
b.Theunitwilldisplaythefrequencychanging untilit stopsonthenextstation.
c.Afteritrunning totheendofthe frequencyrange,it willrestart search.
