Chapter I Introduction to S59 Device
S59 product is an industrial hand-held terminal independently researched and
developed, designed and produced according to the industrial characteristics.
Its appearance is adopt the ergonomic design, with the light, flexible, anti-
vibration and anti-dropping features, as well as long standby time and stable
operating system. SHT59 product is in accordance with IP65 industrial standards
for water-proofing, dust-proofing, anti-dropping, anti-static and high & low
temperature resistance design.

Chapter III System Setting
3.1 Terminal operation interface
3.1.1 After power on, enter the following main operation interface.
Introduce the software function of S59 series devices in detail.

3.1.2. Under the standby interface, click this icon and select option to
enter into the system setting.
Wi-Fi
Click the setting button and icon to open the wireless network, and all available
wireless networks will display, then click on the wireless network you want to connected.
If the wireless network does not need password, click ‘Connect’ for starting connection;
If the wireless network does need password, input password firstly and click ‘Connect’
for starting connection. If the wireless network has been successfully connected previously,
the information would be stored, and the automatic connection would be realized. Once
the device connect to the wireless network successfully, the wireless network icon
will display in the status bar on the top of screen.

Data Usage
Select to open/ close the mobile data, and set up limit of mobile data.
Sound and Notification
For the settings of volume, ringtone and message, tick or not tick to select or cancel
Vibration and Ring, Touch sounds, Screen lock sound and Vibrate on touch.

Storage
Check available storage space, and select the options for media scanning for external
memory card or external USB device.
Display
LCD brightness level, Wallpaper, Sleep mode and Font size.
Battery
Display battery information.
Apps
Manage application program. Click on the catalog (downloaded, SD card, running or all)
and select an application you want to uninstall, you will enter the following interface and
then click ‘uninstall’ to remove the application from the hand-held terminal device.

Set Screen lock, Owner info, Encryption and Device administrators.
Language and Input
For the options of language selection, text input and automatic error correction. Select
the keyboard and input method you like, and set the ‘Text-to-speech output’.

You can use the time or time zone offered by the network, or set the date and time
manually, then select the time zone, or you also can select the display format of time and
