1. Check using the parts list that all components have been delivered.
2. Plan the final position of the play equipment, ensuring there is sufficient space
NB: Please consider the extent and HIC of surfacing (see surfacing plan).
Stainless steel slides should face north or be shaded to prevent over heating.
3. Excavate the foundation holes in accordance with the plan and play level,
ensuring holes are dug to an equal level relative to each other.
4. Sort and identify parts before assembly.
5. Bolt the pedestals PED302 to the end of the slide assembly THS103, and
position 2 spragging irons MSL002 into the holes provided at the bottom of the
pedestals (see fig 1 & 2 page 7). Hook the slide assembly onto the top cross-
bars of one of the main frames (THF001) and stand these in their respective
foundation holes.
6. Sit the ramp assembly THF121 into the foundation holes and bolt THP080 and
THA081 engine assemblies to the frame (see fig 3 & 4 page 8).
7. Bolt the small wheel panels THP082 and THP083 to the engine assemblies
THP080 & THA081 respectively (see fig 5 & 6 page 9).
8. The second main frame THF001 can then be placed into the foundation holes
and the engine/ramp assembly hooked onto it. The distance between the
vertical uprights to be 650mm (see fig 7 page 10).
9. Position the hexaboard deck between the two main frames and ensure at this
point that all metal framework is assembled together (see fig 8 page 10).
10. Assemble the remaining panels onto the steel frame uprights using the
supplied brackets PZA700ZP and PZA705ZP, and onto panels using the
images supplied on the provided 'PaneAssembly' info sheet and pages 11 &
12 of this document.

11. The ring climb THF140GRY can now be positioned in the foundation hole
and bolted to side panels THP070Y and THP072Y (see fig 10 page 11).
THF140GRY needs two steel irons found in the fixing kit feeding through the
holes in the end, prior to concreting.
12. When the unit is completely assembled, ensure the unit is completely level
and in the correct position, then tighten all fixings prior to the concrete being
poured.
13. Ensure all exposed hex head bolts and lock nuts are capped off using the
M10 Nut Covers CZS004BK provided.
14. Check the unit is level as per the elevations and plans provided before filling
the foundation holes with the required depth of concrete. Float off upper
surface to enable run-off away from frame uprights.
15. The unit should be secured against use by any member of the public until the
concrete has set and the appropriate depth and extent of safety surfacing has
been instlalled (refer to installation plans).
16. Follow the maintenance instructions supplied (see page 13)
Use the panel fixing general sheet supplied to select the correct bolts from
the fixing kit (be advised that a extra fixings are included). We suggest fixing
countersunk bolts first as other panels may be layered on top of them. It is
important not to fully tighten the fixings until all panels have been assembled and
the unit is stood within the foundation holes.
NB: During installation, care must be taken to prevent hazards to children. If you
are at all unsure or have any questions, please contact the contracts department
immediately for their assistance and advice.
