Consumer Safety Information
This appliance is intended for
household use only.
This appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug. This type of plug has
one blade wider than the other. The
plug will fit into an electrical outlet
only one way. This is a safety feature
intended to help reduce the risk of
electrical shock. If you are unable
to insert the plug into the outlet,
try reversing the plug. If the plug
should still fail to fit, contact a
qualified electrician to replace
the obsolete outlet.
Do not attempt to defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized plug by
modifying the plug in any way.
The length of the cord used on this
appliance was selected to reduce
the hazards of becoming tangled in,
or tripping over a longer cord. If a
longer cord is necessary an approved
extension cord may be used. The
electrical rating of the extension cord
must be equal to or greater than the
rating of the ice shaver. Care must be
taken to arrange the extension cord
so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it
can be pulled on by children or
accidentally tripped over.

Somersize Ice Shaver
Congratulations on the purchase of your Somersize Ice Shaver. You and your
family and friends will have so much fun with this product. All you do is add
ice and press the button for a fluffy, magical snow cone. Then top it off with
any one of my delicious Somersize Syrups and it’s a party!
I also love this Ice Shaver for making granita, because now I don’t have
to spend so much time shaving the granita by hand before I serve it. I just
freeze my favorite recipe in the ice containers, then when I’m ready to serve I
pop them into the machine and press the button… voila! It’s granita time.
And to cool down on a hot day, there’s nothing better than a tall glass filled
with shaved ice and your favorite beverage. Add a splash of my incredible
Somersize Syrups to club soda and now you can enjoy homemade
Somersize Sodas in a variety of flavors!
I have included several of my favorite shaved ice recipes for you to try and
I’m sure you’ll come up with many of your own. Have fun and cool off!
