BATTERY SAFETY RULES
• Only adults should handle and recharge the battery. Never allow a child to do so. The battery is
heavy and contains lead acid.
• A battery pack should only be charged using the charger recommended by the manufacturer. Using
a charger with an incompatible battery pack may result in a re hazard.
• The toy should only be used with the recommended transformer.
• The transformer is not a toy.
• Only use the battery pack specically intended for the machine.
• Use of any other battery pack may result in re, electric shock, or serious injury.
• Do not use the battery pack on any other product. Doing so may cause overheating, re or explo-
sion.
• Do not place battery-powered devices or their batteries near re or heat sources. This will reduce
the risk of explosion and injury.
• Do not open or attempt to disassemble the battery. It contains lead, acid and other toxic and corro-
sive materials.
• Do not open the charger. Wires and circuits could cause electric shock.
• Avoid direct contact between the battery terminals. This could cause a re or explosion.
• Do not allow liquid to come into contact with the battery or its components.
• Leaking electrolyte is corrosive and may cause eye or skin damage. Electrolyte is highly toxic and
is very dangerous if swallowed. If electrolyte comes into contact with your skin or eyes, wash them
immediately with plenty of water and contact
• your doctor as soon as possible.
• Do not short-circuit the battery pack. There is a risk of explosion.
• Protect the battery pack from moisture and water, do not charge this device in damp or wet condi-
tions. This will reduce the risk of electric shock.
• If the battery pack is damaged or used improperly, fumes may be released.
• Ventilate the area immediately and seek medical attention if you experience breathing difculties.
• The vapours are very irritating.
• Explosive gases are created during charging. Do not charge the battery near heat or ammable
materials. Charge the battery in a well ventilated area.
• Charge the battery in a dry area.
• Do not drop the battery. This could cause permanent damage and severe injury.
• Before recharging the battery, check the battery, charger, leads or connectors for wear or damage.
Do not charge the battery if any part is damaged.
• Do not allow the battery to become completely discharged. Recharge it after each use or once a
month if you do not use the vehicle regularly.
• Do not charge the battery upside down.
• Make sure the battery cover is always on. If the vehicle tips over and the battery falls out this could
cause injury to the child.
• This car has a protection feature: once the car is charging all its other functions will be will be una-
vailable.
• Do not grab the battery by one of the cables or by the charger, as this could damage it and cause a
re. Hold the battery by the case.
• Batteries should only be charged by adults or by children aged 8 years or older.
• Some parts of your car contain lead and lead compounds. Wash your hands after handling.
• Do not leave the device in the rain or sun.
