Step 1. Screw out the waterproof NUT from the bottom of Splash Drone.
Step 2. Put all the functional cables into drone body through the NUT,
including: VTX connector (DuPont cable in 3-pins), IMU cable (4-pins), M2
ROLL motor cable (3-pins), M1 PITCH motor cable (3-pins). Screw in and
fasten the NUT after finishing the penetration.
Step 3. Connect proportional cables with socket in Controller Board & VTX
according to right remarks.
Step 4. Comply with below correspondences to connect the Gimbal
Controller Board with Receiver. Pls make sure tidy assignment inside of
Drone.
Step 5. Locate the Controller Board appropriately between Flight controller
and GPS Antenna, then fasten the Controller Box to the Power Distribution
Board with 3M paste in its rear.
Step 6. Fasten the Gimbal Mounting plate to the assembly holes on the
bottom of Drone with spared Sliver Stainless screws, adjust the best
location if necessary.

Controller Board
ATTENTION:
The waterproof Gimbal is a RTF Gimbal when Ex-factory, it’s very
convenient by attaching your Sport Camera to feed the live videos.
However, there still maybe unexpectedly factors that will influence your first
operation, such as bumps in transportation & changeable magnetic field,
and etc. Pls follow below Calibration Instructions when the Gimbal isn’t at
the balanced phase as it is supposed to be.
Step 7. Open the Splash Dive Case, Insert the AV Out cable into the
socket of the Sport Camera. Then enclose the waterproof housing tightly.

a. Power on the Drone with 4S Lipo Battery, the power Indicator inside of
the Gimbal Controller Board keeps long RED for system Self-checking.
There is a regular blinking process of Green LEDs that indicates the
self-checking is finished: Blinking slowly ----> Flashing ----> Long GREEN.
b. Fix up the Gimbal with Camera, make sure the Splash Dive case is
horizontal. Hold the Dive case tightly, and SHORT press the button
‘RESET’ (In the Gimbal) to calibrate the Accelerometer. Instantly, the
Indicator blinks GREEN slowly and gradually become long GREEN, then
the Accelerometer Calibration is DONE.
c. Repeat the preparations in step ‘b’, LONG press ‘RESET’ for 3s above
to calibrate the Gyroscope. When the GREEN Indicator finishes ‘Blinking
slowly ----> Flashing’ two times, and finally get a Long GREEN, the
Gyroscope Calibration is DONE.
d. Loosen the Dive case after finishing the Gyroscope calibration, and test
whether the Gimbal has resumed normal phase.
e. Repeating above Manual Calibration twice if the first trail turns out to be
failure. What if the abnormal keeps occurring after several times’ manual
calibration ? The Software Calibration is here available to complete the
further progresses.
ATTENTION: Pls make sure the waterproof Gimbal is staying horizontal &
still enough, any extra movement or swaying may cause failure in the
Calibration process.
