PUTTING THEBATTERIES INTOTHE
REMOTE CONTROLUNIT
Press downofthe compartmentcover,andslide
the coveroff open the compartment.
Place the two(UM3),(AA ),(R6)batteries
inthe remotecontrolaccordingtothe polarity
markings("+"and"--')insidethe compartment
andon the batteries.
Place the coveroverthe compartment, press
downlightly,andpushitupwarduntil itsnapson.
NOTE:Replace all batteriesatthe sametime.
Removethe batteriesthe remotecontrolisnotin
useforlongperiods,don’tmixnormalbatteries
withrechargeablebatteries,when the batteries
becomeweak,remotecontrolwill benot
functioned,replace withnewbatteriesifabove
happened.

INSTALLING THESPEAKERWIRETOTHESPEAKERTERMINALS
1.SpeakersConnection
Extendthe SPEAKERWIRES andconnectthemtothe SPEAKERTERMINALS.
2.PowerCordConnection
Beforeusing,connectthe ACPowerCordtothe ACoutlet, then turnon the mainswitch of
the unit.
INSTALLING THESUBWOOFERWIRETOTHESBB LINEINTERMINALS
1.SubwooferConnection
Extendthe SUBWOODFERWIREandconnectittothe SBB LINEINTERMINAL.
2.PowerCordConnection
Beforeusing,connectthe ACPowerCordtothe ACoutlet, then turnon the mainswitch of
the SUBWOOFER.
OPERATING THEUNIT
When you firstplugthe unitintothe ACoutlet, the unitwill beinstandbymode.You can press the
POWERbutton on the unit(oron the remotecontrol)toswitch the unitONandOFF.Pull the ACplug
outofthe wall socketifyou wanttoswitch off completely.
ADJUSTING THESOUND
Press the volume+/-buttonstosetthe soundlevel.Forincreasedbass atall volumelevels,switch
the BASS SWITCH on toboostthe lowfrequencysound.To mutethe sound,press MUTEbutton
andthe "POWER"indicatorwill flash.To resumethe sound,press the MUTEbutton againorjust
press the volume+/-button todisablethe MUTEfunction.
LISTENTOTHEMUSICBYUSINGHEADPHONE
Astereo headphone jackisprovidedforprivatelistening.To listen tothe unitwithheadphones(not
included)insertthe 3.5mm mini-stereo plugfromthe headphonesintothe PHONES jackon the
frontpanel.The externalspeakersareautomaticallydisconnectedwhen headphonesareinuse.
RADIOOPERATION
Setthe FUNCTIONswitch toRADIO.
FM
SelectFMmodebandselectorswitch.Turnthe TUNINGcontroltoselectthe requiredstation.The FM
stereo indicatorlightwill showastereo broadcastisbeingreceived.Fullyextendthe FMantenna and
adjustitsdirection forbestFMreception.
AM
SelectAMon bandselectorswitch.Turnthe TUNINGcontroltoselectthe requiredstation.Foropera-
tion on AMthe setcontrolabuilt-inferriteaerialwhich isdirectional.Therefore,the setshouldbe
positionedforthe bestsignalstrength.
FMSTEREORECEPTION
Forreception ofaFMstereo broadcaststation,setthe AM/FM/FMST.switch toFMST.position.The
""will indicateon the LCD displaywhen aFMSTEREObroadcastisbeingreceived.
FMANTENNA
FMantenna wireforbetterFMreception.

LISTENING TOCOMPACTDISC(CD)
The LCD indicatoralways shownthe tracks ofadiscorprogramwhich arestill tobeplayed.It works in
all modes,instopmode,all tracks ofthe discorthe programareshown.
Playing TheEntireDisc
1.Playbackwill startbypressingPLAY/PAUSE,the " " indicatorthen appears.
Playbackstartswiththe firsttrack.The displayshownthe currenttracknumberanditselapsedtime.
2.To interruptplayback,press PLAY/PAUSE.The " " indicatorwill flash.
3.To resumeplayback,press PLAY/PAUSE again.
4.To stopplayback,press STOP.
Selection ADifferentTrack During Play
1.Press SKIP/SEARCH button on the unit(orremote),the requiredtracknumberappearsinthe
display.
2.Press PLAY/PAUSE button tostartingplaying.Startingagainwiththe trackthatiscurrentlyplaying.
Starting AgainWithTheTrack ThatIsCurrentlyPlaying
1.Press SKIPF.R.once.
2.The trackwill bestartedagainfromthe beginning.
Stopping Play
1.Press STOPifyou wishtostopplay.The discandtracknumberwhich can beplayedwill now
appearinthe display.
2. Open the CD dooron the unittoremovethe CD.
PROGRAMMEDPLAYBACK
Upto20 tunescan beprogrammedforlisteningandplayed.
1.Press the PROG button.(F.1)
2.Selectthe desiredtracknumberusingthe SKIP/SEARCH
button on the unit(orremote).(F.2)
3.Press the PROG button tomemoriesthe trackselection.
4.Repeatsteps1and3astomemoriesupto20 tracks.
5.Press PLAY/PAUSE button,toplaystartswiththe first
trackofthe program.
6.To stopplaying,press the STOPbutton.
7.Openingthe doorclearsall programmes.
RANDOMPLAY (forRemoteHandset)
1.Press the RANDOMbutton once,andthe "RANDOM"indicatorwill lightup.
2.Press the PLAY/PAUSE button tostartplaying.The tracks will beplayedrandomly.
3.To cancelrandomplay,eitherpress the STOPbutton twice orpress the RANDOMbutton once
again,until the "RANDOM"indicatordisappeared.
REPEATPLAY
1.When playingCD,If repeatthe sametrackonly,press the REPEATbutton once andthe "REPEAT"
indicatorwill lightupandflash.
2.If you desiretorepeatall,press REPEATbutton twice andthe "REPEAT"indicatorwill lightupandnotflash.
3.To cancelrepeatplay,press the STOPbutton twice until the repeatindicatordisappeared.
