2. FactorydefaultIPis “192.168.1.101”.Usercan checkthe MACaddress fromproduct stickerwithIP
to confirmthe device.

4. Default Net Mode isthe same asthe following. Usercan modifyNet Mode and otherparameters. If

2. WIFI(STA)：SYRIScanbe set to communicate viaWireless APwithout Ethernet.
STASSID: Enterthe SSIDfromAP youwillconnect tonetwork.
Scan : Usercan scan AP in range ofdeviceand select oneto connect. Butusercannot scan the
AP afterchanging defaultnetworkmode (Ethernet only)to Wi-Fi(Client). Device need to poweroff /
on toenable the scan function.
STAEncType : SelectEncrypt type forAP connection.
Password: EnterpasswordforAP.
IPType: DHCPisdefaultmode. Ifuserhaveto setupa staticIP,please selectStatic.
PS:Wi-Fi MAC addressisEthernetMACsubtract1.

V.USB Connection
Setup parameters viaMicroUSB.
1. InstallUSB driver ”CDC_USB_Driver_VCP_V1.4.0_Setup.exe”
2. Systemwillgenerate avirtualCOMport.
Forexample. Checkport indevice manager.(belowpicture isCOM 3)

VI. V8 Tools Tool ParameterSetting
1. Basic:
Basic: Getdeviceserialnumber device ID and firmware version
WarmStart: Reboot device
Initial: Restore device tofactorydefault (It isNOTincluding networksetting).
NETInitial(6 sec): Restorenetworkparameterofdevice to Default mode.

2. Reader
Set Interface: Setup reader’scommunication interface. Defaultis “RS485”.
Set MessageMode:
Card LED:Timeforread card LEDON, defaultis30 x10ms
Card Beep:Time forread card beep on, defaultis30x10ms
ISO14443A/B/ISO15693 :
Same Card Delay:Setuptime gap forreadingthesame card, default is10 x100ms(1 second)
Green Mode: Slow down the card read speed to powersaving.
Reset: Reset RFIC afterread card.
CardType:Choose cardtype to enable device’sread specificcard.
UID(A): Read ISO14443ACard UID.
Block: Read Blockdata (Must disableothercardtype).
UID(B): Read ISO14443BCard UID.
GUID(B):Read the China second generation ofresidentidentification card.
ISO15693: Read ISO15693CardUID
7byte: Read 7byte format Card UID
CardTest: Test the readerfunction.

3. Display: Setup displaylanguage and encode fordifferent country.

Auto sendreadermode
1. Un-Select"ControllerMode"and thenclick"Set DI/DOMode"to disable controllermode.
2. Select "EN"(meansenable), "S/N","CLR", "CRC"andset heartbeatto 50 (means5 sec) and then click
"Auto Mode"to finish configure.
