1.OPERATION
1.1. POWER ON:
Press button to Power On the TAC SCALE 1.
1.2. POWER OFF:
Press and hold button for 3 seconds to Power Off the TAC SCALE.
1.3. AUTO POWER OFF
TAC Scale will be powered off automatically if no button pressed and weight reading
is stable for a defined period of time in section 2.7. (Power off timer will be reset if any button pressed or weighing changed)
1.4. TARE WEIGHT (ZERO READING)
Press button to tare off weight. Any undesired weight will tare off, and zero reading will be displayed on the screen, to start the
actual weight.
1.5. MAIN SCREEN:
Left 4 to 5 Digits show the Weight in Kg(Kilograms). Most Right digit shows the Saving Mode.
Is for auto-saving mode and is for manual saving mode.
Indicates the “Stable Weight” in Manual Mode.
1.6. MANUAL SAVING IN STATISTICAL MODE:
The main screen in manual saving mode.
When data becomes stable, this indication will be seen at right corner. Like this:
In manual saving mode, weight can be stored by pressing Up button.
On successful saving, “Sto” will appear on screen like this.
0.125 is weight and ‘Sto’ indicates ‘Data stored successfully’.
1.7. AUTO SAVING IN STATISTICAL MODE:
Main Screen in auto saving mode
When data is stable for the defined filter time in section 2.3, The weighing data will automatically be stored in memory. “A.S”
followed by weight will be shown on the screen like this.
0.250 is weight and ‘A.S’ indicates ‘Auto stored successfully’.
This screen will clear and return to the main screen only when weight is released from weighing Pan.
1.8. AUTO SAVING IN GRADING MODE (SEGREGATION):
Main Screen in auto-saving grading mode
When data is stable for the defined filter & stabilization time, The weight of different categories will show as follows.
Under Weight:
This screen will appear If weight is lower than standard weight defined in section 2.2 & 2.3. The underweight count will increment.
Standard Weight:
This screen will appear if weight is in range of defined percentage of standard weight defined in section 2.2 & 2.3. the standard
count will increment.
OverWeight:

This screen will appear if weight exceeds the standard weight defined in section 2.2 & 2.3. the overweight count will increment.
1.9. DELETE THE LAST RECORD IN STATISTICAL MODE:
To delete the last saved record, simply press button. It will ask for confirmation
1.530Kg is last weight to be deleted.
To confirm delete, press button. Or press to cancel the delete process and go back to the main screen.
1.10. VIEW WEIGHTED DATA
To view the complete list of weighted data, press and hold key for 3 seconds. (Stored weighing list will be shown like this)
(1.530kg is the weight stored on memory location 94)
Use & keys to scroll through weighing List.
To delete any unwanted or malicious weight from list please follow the instruction in section 1.10.
1.11. DELETE DATA FROM WEIGHTED LIST:
You can delete any unwanted or malicious weight from the weighing list as described in section 1.9 by simply pressing the
button, followed by confirmation.
(1.530Kg is the weight to be deleted)
Press button to confirm the delete, or press to cancel and back to weighing list.
1.12. UNIFORMITY & OTHER STATISTICS:
To calculate the uniformity and other statistics, press and hold button for 3 seconds.
The calculation process will start, It will take some time in seconds, depends on the number of birds weighed.
(This screen will be displayed, during the calculation process)
When the calculation is done, it will be informed on-screen as “UnF donE”.
Now to view different parameters of Statistics in order, press button for each parameter.
1.12.1. BIRDS COUNT
It will show the total number of birds weighed and stored in memory.
(Total 82 birds weighted and saved in memory)
1.12.2. AVERAGE WEIGHT
It will show the Average Weight of the total bird weights stored in memory.
(1.530Kg is the Average Weight).
1.12.3. STANDARD DEVIATION
Standard Deviation
(0.02Kg)
1.12.4. COEFFICIENT OF VARIANCE
Coefficient of variance
(3.95% )
1.12.5. UNIFORMITY
It shows the calculated Uniformity. By default, the uniformity is calculated at 10%. You can change the uniformity settings in
section 2.6.
(Uniformity is 98.0% in this example).
1.12.6. PRINT STATISTICS SUMMARY (PrInt St)

Select this option and press key to print the Statistics summary or press to go to the next screen.
Sample print is shown below:
1.12.7. PRINT STATISTICS WITH WEIGHT LIST (PrInt FL)
Select this option and press key to print the Statistics with a complete weight list of selected pen or press to go to the
next screen.
Sample print is shown below:
1.12.8. PRINT STATISTICS WITH DETAIL ANALYSIS (PrInt HL)
Select this option and press key to print the Statistics with detailed analysis of currently selected pen or press to go to
the next screen.
Sample print is shown below:
2.SETTINGS
Press and hold button for 3 seconds to enter in settings mode.
Scroll the setting parameters by using & keys. To select and change the desired settings, press button to enter in edit mode.
Then follow the below specific Instructions.
2.1. SET PEN: (SEt PEn)
Press to select the pen number by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go
back.
2.2. SET STANDARD WEIGHT: (SEt St.u)
Press to select the Standard Weight, and by using Arrow keys ( ) to select desired time. Press to save
changes or Press to discard and go back.
2.3. SET GRADING PERCENTAGE: (SEt Gr.P)
Press to select the Grading Percentage, and by using Arrow keys ( ) to select desired time. Press to save
changes or Press to discard and go back.
2.4. SET ID : (SEt I.d)
(Future Option)
2.5. SCALE MODE: (SEt node)
Press to select the SCLAE MODE, and by using & keys to select following modes.
2.5.1 Statistical Mode: (S.n StAt)
Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
2.5.2 Grading Mode: (S.n GrAd)
Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.

2.6. HOUSES STARTING POINT: (SEt HSF)
Press to select the Housing start point by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and
go back.
Currently, up to 40 houses starting point can be selected from this menu.
2.7. NUMBER OF BIRDS PER PEN: (SEt nbP)
Press to select the Number of Birds per PEN by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard
and go back.
Up to 255 Birds per PEN can be selected from this menu.
2.8. NUMBER OF PENS PER HOUSE: (SEt nOP)
Press to select the Number of PEN in house, and by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to
discard and go back.
Up to 12 Number of PEN can be selected from this menu.
2.9. STABILIZATION TIME: (SEt Stb)
Press to select the Stabilization Time, and by using Arrow keys ( ) to select desired time. Press to save
changes or Press to discard and go back.
2.10. CLEAR PEN
To clear the old readings from a selected pen, and get the pen ready for new readings.
Press to discard the process and go back. Press to proceed, It will ask for confirmation.
If not sure Press to cancel and go back. Press to Clear the memory.
(Clear done screen will be shown for two seconds, and then the Main screen will appear)
2.11. CLEAR DATA (Clean Memory Complete)
To clear the old readings from all pens, and get the scale ready for new readings.
Press to discard the process and go back. Press to proceed, It will ask for confirmation.
If not sure Press to cancel and go back. Press to Clear the memory.
(Clear done screen will be shown for two seconds, and then the Main screen will appear)
2.12. CALIBRATION
To calibrate the weighing scale, first (Tare or Zero) the readings on the main screen, then using this setting, select
the calibration weight using & keys, then Press key to proceed or to discard.
(e.g 3000 means 3Kg)
To proceed, apply the selected weight to scale by putting calibrated weight in Pan. To discard or cancel the process press to
stop calibration. To proceed with the calibration press . It will ask for confirmation.

If you are not sure Press to discard and go back. If you are pretty sure Press to calibrate and save changes.
(Calibration done screen will be shown for two seconds, and then the Main screen will appear)
2.13. AUTO OFF TIME
Scale auto-off time can be selected from here in seconds.
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(240 seconds equals to 4 minutes. 4x60=240)
2.14. SET BRIGHTNESS
Display brightness can be controlled here (1 for lightest, 15 for brightest)
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(Values: 1 to 15)
2.15. DIVISION (RESOLUTION)
To select the minimum increment or resolution in grams.
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(1 to 100)
2.16. FILTER TIME
In auto-saving when weight is stable at this specific filter seconds, It will be auto-saved.
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(1 to 10)
2.17. SAVING MODE:
Select saving mode from here, to enable autosave select ‘On’, to disable select ‘OFF’.
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(ON/OFF)
2.18. UNIFORMITY SETTINGS
Select the Uniformity percentage from here.
Change value using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
(e.g 10.0 %)
2.19. SET DATE
Press to Select the date, use & keys to adjust the value, and use & keys to select different parameters of
date.
DAY - MONTH - YEAR
Date Format is Day/Month/Year.
After adjusting the desired parameter of date Press to save the date and proceed to time adjustment, or Press to discard
the process and go back to settings.
.HOUR .MIN .SEC
After saving the date, the time selection screen will appear, use & keys to adjust the value, and use & keys to
select different parameters of time

Time Format is Hour/Minutes/Seconds.
After adjusting the desired parameter of time Press to save time, or Press to discard the process and go back to the
settings.
2.20. SET HOUSE
Press to select the House number by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go
back.
House number is just for printing receipt, or pc data to maintain record by house number also.
2.21. SET PEN
Press to select the pen number by using & keys and Press to save changes or Press to discard and go back.
Currently up to 8(eight) pens can be selected from this menu.
One pen can store up to 250 birds' weight.
You can view and print statistics later, after weighing complete house in different pens.
3.STATUS
3.1. BATTERY STATUS:
To view Battery status in percentage, Press key on the main screen. Press to back to the main screen or wait 3 seconds for
auto return.
(Battery 60% Remaining)
3.2. CHARGING:
When the charger is plugged in, the following screen will appear. Press to back to the main screen.
(Chg with moving bar on left and Battery percent on right)
3.3. BATTERY LOW
The following screen will appear when the battery is low. Press to back to the main screen.
3.4. BATTERY FULL
The following screen will appear when battery charging is Full. Press to back to the main screen.
3.5. VIEW SELECTED PEN
To view currently selected pen, Press key on the main screen. Press to back to the main screen or wait 3 seconds for auto
return.
3.6. VIEW BIRDS COUNT
To view birds count, simply press key on the main screen, it will display the number of birds weighed so far. Press to back
to the main screen or wait 3 seconds for auto return.

4.THERMAL PRINTER
4.1. INSERT ROLL:
Insert the paper roll as per below instructions
4.2. PAPER ROLL DIRECTION:
Please verify the direction of the paper roll. The wrong direction will not print anything.
4.3. POWER AND COMMUNICATION CABLE:

Thermal Printer settings will be as follows:
Baud Rate Rate settings: (19200, n 8,1).
