About the Anilog 3060
The Anilog 3060 is hand-held radio frequency identification (RFID) reader
designed to simplify the recording and management of livestock identification
in the field. Each animal carries a special tag which has a unique electronic
identification (EID) number. The Anilog 3060 recognises this tag and can thus
identify each animal. The 3060 can be used to read any international standards
organisation (ISO) electronic ear tag on any animal
The stockman can record information about the animal on the 3060’s
internal history log. This data can then be transferred to the computer
database where records for all the stocks are stored.
If desired the 3060 can also be connected via a cable to a printer or an
electronic weighing machine. Information can be automatically transferred
from the weighing machine to the 3060.
