Mounting and Installation Manual
Precautions when attaching a side cable type mount bracket and install-
ing onto a gypsum board, etc. which does not have enough strength
Please read this guide carefully along with the camera's "Owner's
Manual - Installation" to attach properly.
Precautions (Make sure you follow the instructions)
Warning
The camera must be attached to the site where its durabil-
ity is strong enough to ensure the camera's gross weight
Attaching the camera on a ceiling etc. where the strength is insuffi-
cient may cause injury by dropping onto the body from the height.
Before attaching, reinforce the site strong enough to endure
the camera weight.
●
Do not scratch your hand at the metal edge.
Strongly scratching your hand may cause injury.
Periodical inspection is required
Rusted metals and screws may cause dropping the camera
from the height.
Contact the store for inspection.
●
Advices on Installation
1. Before installing, check that the mounting location is strong
enough to endure the gross weight (approximately 0.6kg) of
the camera.
When installing the camera onto a gypsum board, etc. which does
not have enough strength, provide sufficient reinforcement or use
a commercially available gypsum board anchor, etc. to ensure
enough strength, then properly attach the camera following the
specified precautions.
2.
Make sure to use the anti-drop wire (supplied) when installing.
3. Use the fixation screws (supplied) to secure the camera and
mount bracket to make sure that they do not wobble.
Cautions: Since this camera uses fisheye lens, it sticks out from the main
body. Attach the lens protective cover to the camera and do not
remove it before starting installation and adjustment. Be careful
not to scratch or leave stain on the surface of the lens.
