LED to CCFL Converter Cable fitting directions

With the older technology CCFL LCD laptop screens being discontinued, they become
quite highly priced and increasingly difficult to source. This converter cable allows the
use of a newer L D LCD Screen as a replacement screen for older laptops screens. Pic. 1
shows the overall arrangement.

Others will work but use at your own risk as some ports will fit more than one type of
connection.
The L D to CCFL converter cable has:
 1x 30pin connector (to motherboard connector)
 1x 40pin connector (to L D LCD panel)
 1x HP CQ60, Acer 5735 compatible inverter connector
 1x HP G60/DV6/621, Asus K52C, Toshiba A130/A135/L456, Acer 5552 compatible
inverter connector
 1x Sony 7184/NW20 F compatible inverter connector
 1x Dell 1545 compatible inverter connector
 1x Samsung R518/R517, Huanqiu HQ-L D-40-30-156H compatible inverter
connector

After the CCFL screen has been removed from place and disconnected, connect
the 30pin female connector on the converter cable to the 30pin male connector on
the cable from the motherboard.

Cables can be gently folded into place and have sticky labels to hold them there.
Find the cable end from the motherboard that connects to the inverter and
connect it to the appropriate connector on the converter cable (see Pic. 2). Be
aware of the laptop model and check compatibility between models as previously
described. The connectors only have one way to fit in.
DO NOT FORCE THE CONNECTORS IN.
Doing so can damage the connector’s pins and/or damage the laptop.
 Connect the 40pin male end of the converter cable to the L D LCD screen.
IMPORTANT - The main 40pin L D screen connection must be plugged in with the
gold pins facing away from the screen (see Pic.3).
