1 Summary
1.1 Safety information:
Please read these instructions carefully, and follow procedures diligently
for proper installation and maintenance.
Warning ：Before accessing any internal parts, disconnect the power
supply.
Please comply with local safety standards in any case.

This product is made up of plastic, metal parts and lithium
battery(optional). All these components must be disposed of according
to the local law standard.

maintained only by qualified personnel. A qualified person is one who
has skills and knowledge related to the construction and operation of this
equipment and the installation, and has received safety training to
recognize and avoid the hazards involved.

1.2 Production introduction
Tech Novitas Coral series precision cooling systems provides one stop
solution with the configuration of air condition, UPS, cabinet, monitoring
units, PDU, KVM. etc. The advantages are minimum construction
investment of IT room, rapid deployment of core working, environmental
friendliness and energy saving, etc.
2 Installation
2.1 Transportation and Handling
Our standard and export package includes pallet. Please use forklift to
move the units. See Figure 2-1 as below:

When hoisting with belts or steel ropes, please make sure the unit and
package are secured tightly are not damaged.
Note: Hoisting equipment and ropes are to be locally arranged before

the arrival of shipment
During the transportation, please make sure that the material is not tilted
beyond the reasonable limits of within 75℃~105℃, See Figure 2-2 as
below:

2.2 Opening package and moving unit
To ensure that you receive complete unit in good conditions,
please open the packing , immediately inspect the exterior package and
the unit itself. Check whether all the components of the unit are there as
per the purchase order. If any potential damage is found, please contact
us immediately.

Recycle
Transport material is recycled. Please store it for later use and re
packing
Move the pallet to a level ground
Inspect whether the equipment was damaged in the process of
transportation.
Remove the plastic bag, cardboard ,etc
Move the unit to ground carefully, keep it straight and up right.

2.3.3 Charging of refrigerant, please pay attention:
a. Release the Nitrogen air : The indoor & outdoor unit have been
charged with Nitrogen air ex-factory, vacuum, exhaust air completely
from both “high pressure valve” and “low pressure valve” ( some of
specific mode has been charged refrigerant ex-factory, please
disregards above) before filling it.
b. If the pipe distance between indoor unit and outdoor unit exceeds 10
meters extra quantity of refrigerant is advised. Extra quantity of
refrigerant calculation is equal to =refrigerant charging quantity per
meter of liquid pipe (kg/m) X length of prolonged liquid pipe (m)

c . Extra charging of refrigerant may cause the dilution of frozen oil,
which will influence the lubricating and cooling effect. So extra charging
of frozen oil is advised. Extra charging of frozen oil (ml)=extra charging
of refrigerant(kg)x22.6.
2.3.4 Outdoor unit Installation
a. The outdoor unit should be placed at a place safe and easy to
maintain , but not to be kept in a public place or exposed to snow and
water.
b. To ensure sufficient air volume, it is recommended that the outdoor
unit should be installed in a clean place, and kept away from dust and
dirt that may block the coil pipe. Besides, the outdoor unit cannot be
located where its exposed to hot air or smoke exhaust that affects heat

dissipation. Sufficient space as follows should be provided between the
outdoor unit and the wall, or barriers or other units:
The distance between outdoor unit: X≥0.6m
The distance between the side face of the outdoor unit and the wall or
the barrier: Y≥0.4m
The distance between the back of the outdoor unit and the wall or the
barrier: Z≥0.2m
* The outdoor unit should be mounted vertically to ensure the normal
flow of refrigerant and the backflow of lubricant. The support arms of the
outdoor unit are provided with mounting holes for mounting the
condenser on a steel support or the ground stably.

2.3.5 Pipeline Connection
1）All pipes shall be copper pipes and, the pipe should be
installed without vibration and provided with support to prevent
movement and vibration.
2）When the outdoor unit is higher than indoor unit, an oil loop
should be equipped with every 5 meters on the vertical air pipe. While
shut down, the oil loop will help to collect refrigerant and lubricant of the
condenser to guarantee the flow of the refrigerant and the lubricant in
runtime, It’s a must that a reverse elbow should be installed at the inlet
and the outlet of the condenser respectively. It should be ensured that
the top elbow of the reverse elbow is relatively higher than the highest
row of copper pipes of the condenser to prevent refrigerant from flowing
back when shut down.

3）The length of a standard effective pipe should be no longer
than 30m;
The elevation difference is 15 meters (when the outdoor unit is
higher than the level of the indoor unit);
Or 5 meters (when the outdoor unit is lower than the level of the
indoor unit).
For any deviation, the factory must be informed in advance for
special arrangement.
4）All copper pipes must be provided with thermal insulation
materials for heat preservation.
3. Air condition system

3.1.1 On – off unit
Keep clicking on the “UP” keys for 5 sec. Change AC running status
from on to off, or vice versa.
3.1.2 Temperature set point
Keep clicking on the ”Return” +”Selection” keys for 5 sec. Input
password, then enter parameters edit interface -S-P-.

3.1.3 Alarm process
The alarm indicator will light when there is an alarm. Checking the alarm
code and process.
3.1.4 Alarm Records：
Detailed information of the latest 25 alarms can be obtained. Keep
clicking on the PRG+SEL keys for 5 sec，Input password 44, then
chose alarm records interface. The alarm code, the year, month, date,
hour, minute and information of the alarm are available. The queried
results are ranked in time, and the latest alarm will rank at the top.
3.1.5 Permission Settings

3.3 Common alarm code list and troubleshooting
E1 Temperature probe B1 (Indoor temperature) alarm
If alarm is for unit 1, it will switch to unit 2. The units will not stop running.
If the alarm is for 1/2 unit, then unit will shutdown.
Check if the B1 sensor is damaged, or cable is broken.
E2 Temperature probe B1 (Outdoor temperature) alarm
If only alarm for unit1 , the B2 sensor of unit 2 can keep working, if alarm
for unit 2, units does not stop running. If the alarm for 1/2 unit, the
cooling function will shutdown.
Check if the B2 sensor is damaged, or cable is broken.
Lc 2 unit network fault alarm
Each Units will be operated independently.
Check the unit address if has been correct set as 1 and 2 , check if the
network cable is broken or disconnection.
Lt Low ambient temperature alarm, no alarm output

Indoor temperature is lower than the set value. The default is 5 ℃,
above 7 ℃, alarm will disappear
Ht High temperature alarm
Indoor temperature is higher than the set value. The default is 35 ℃,
below 33 ℃, alarm will disappear
FEr Fan fault alarm
If alarm for unit 1, will switch to unit 2, Then unit 1 will stop running. If the
alarm for unit 2, then the unit 2 will shutdown.
Check if the switch input is faulty , fan is damaged or cable is broken
After alarm is released, system will restart after 1 minute.
CEr Compressor fault alarm
Check if the switch input is faulty , compressor is damaged or cable is
broken
HP1 Circuit 1 High pressure alarm
Check if the heat dissipation fin of outdoor unit is dirty or plugging
Or refrigerant is over charged, or outdoor ventilation and heat dissipation
is not good.
LP1 Circuit 1 Low pressure alarm
