General description
1.Textile which has been applied (gloss, crinkle, relief etc.) is best ironed at lower
temperature.
2. Sort the laundry according to ironing temperature: put wool with wool, cotton
with cotton, etc. The iron heats up more quickly than it cool down. Therefore, start
ironing articles that need to be ironed at lowest temperature, such as those made
of synthetic fibre.
3. Temperature guide
Follow the ironing instructions on the garment label. If these is no instructions
but you do know the kind of fabric, please consult the table.
Warning: If the fabric consists of various kinds of fabrics, always select the
temperature required by the most delicate fibre.

Iron the reverse side. Do not use the
spray function, as spraying could cause
stains.

FILLING THE WATER TANK
1. Set the steam control to the closed position.
2. Hold the iron vertically by the handle and tilt it 10º to fill it. Run the water
through the filling inlet.
Notes : Never exceed the "Max" level indicated on the tank.
Never use scented substances.
3. If water has leaked out of the tank, Clean the outside of the tank.
4. After ironing, always empty the water tank.
5. The tap water is usable. However, if the water in your area is very hard, it is
advisable to use distilled water.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Fill the tank with water before connecting it. (without exceeding the maximum
level).
Plug the iron into an outlet in good condition.
Selecting the temperature • • The indicator light comes on, indicating that the iron
is starting to heat up.
When the desired temperature is reached, the indicator goes off and the iron is
ready for use.
For this first use, test clean cloth or used cloth.
First, let the steam come out for at least 1 minute and press the express steam
button and the spray button several times, to clean the tank of any manufacturing
impurities.
Notes: During this operation a slight smoke may be released from the hearth or
iron for a few moments; This is normal.
During ironing, it is normal for the indicator light (Means the thermostat) to
turn on and off automatically to maintain a constant temperature.
It is always easier to iron fabrics or slightly damp clothes.
USE
•Unroll the power cord completely.
•Check that the tension in force in the country where you are, corresponds to
that indicated on the apparatus.
•Connect the apparatus in a correct socket-outlet, (and connected to the
ground if the unit is Class I), to avoid any danger.
•Disconnect the power source cable before any operation of cleaning of
maintenance and accessories assembly.

10
•Stand the appliance on a table or flat & stable surface.
•The item must not be left unattended when it is connected to main supply.
•The item is not to be used, if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs
of damage or if it is leaking.
•Never modify the appliance in anyway.
•To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high wattage appliance
on the same circuit.
•When the iron is returned to its iron rest, make sure that the surface that
supports the iron rest is stable.
•The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
• Low temperature for fabrics - Acrylic- Nylon - Polyester - Rayon - Synthetic
• • Average Temperature for Wool - Silk
• • • High temperature for Cotton - Linen
Spraying
Regardless of the temperature used, by pressing the spray button several times,
the laundry can be softened and wet for easy ironing. Always make sure there is
enough water in the tank.
Shot of steam
By press powerful steam button, an intense shot of steam is emitted from the
soleplate. This can be very useful e.g. when removing stubborn creases.
Notes : The shot of steam facility can be used only while ironing with middle or
high ironing temperature.
By pressing the shot of steam, Powerful steam can also be applied when
holding the iron in a vertical position. This is useful for removing creases
from hanging clothes, curtains, etc.
Steam-ironing
Steam-ironing is only possible at higher ironing temperatures ;
·· for moderate steam, ··· for maximum steam.
Set the steam controller when the thermostat is specifically set to Steam mode.
Steam is produced as soon as the iron is in a horizontal position.
The production of steam is interrupted as soon as the iron is kept in a vertical
position.

11
NOTE : When using in steam mode, if drops of water bead the soleplate,
increase the temperature by turning the thermostat knob clockwise.
DRY IRONING
Set the steam flow controller to 0.
As for the steam mode, select the temperature according to the nature of the fabric.
When the desired temperature is reached, the indicator goes off and the iron is
ready for use.
ADVICE FOR GOOD IRONING
We recommend using the lowest temperatures with fabrics that have unusual
finishes (sequins, embroidery, flush, etc.).
If the fabric is mixed (e.g. 40% cotton 60% synthetics), set the thermostat to the
temperature of the fibre requiring the lower temperature.
If you don’t know the composition of the fabric, determine the suitable temperature
by testing on a hidden corner of the garment. Start with a low temperature and
increase it gradually until it reaches the ideal temperature.
Never iron areas with traces of perspiration or other marks: the heat of the plate
fixes the stains on the fabric, making them irremovable.
To avoid marking silk, woollen or synthetic garments shiny, iron them inside out.
To avoid marking velvet garments shiny, iron in one direction (following the fibre)
and do not press down on the iron.
The heavier the washing machine is loaded, the more garments come out creased.
This also happens when the spin drying revolutions are very high.
Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry.
For example, silk should always be ironed damp.
STORAGE
- Ensure the unit is completely cool and dry.
- Empty the reservoir by turning the iron upside down and gently shaking it.
- Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause damage.
- Always put the iron away in a vertical position.
- Keep the appliance in a cool, dry place out of reach of children.
