Please read and be familiar wi h he following ins ruc ions before servicing he uni .
Ensure proper opera ing condi ion of he uni performing safe y checks upon comple ion of main enance.
Disconnec he uni from he supply circui before cleaning. Do no use caus ic or abrasive cleaning produc s.
Use only replacemen par s specified by he manufac urer.
h
Inspec ion and main enance of he equipmen mus be carried ou in accordance wi h he applicable s andards (i.e. EN
60079-17). Repair of he equipmen mus be carried ou in accordance wi h he applicable s andards (i.e. EN 60079-19).
Disconnec he uni from he supply circui and repor o qualified service personnel whenever any damage o he
equipmen has been de ec ed.
Do no use elec rical equipmen ha seem worn or old.
This equipmen has been designed o fi in harsh environmen s requiring li le or no main enance. Sugges ed inspec ion in erval is 6
mon hs, bu ex remely harsh environmen s may require more frequen inspec ion and main enance checks. On each inspec ion check
he O-ring seals and he window wiper blade. Replace hem if necessary. On each inspec ion check he drive mo ors and he adequa e
lubrica ion/greasing of he gears. Apply lubrican /grease if necessary.
Regularly perform the following routine activities:
- Clean he glass: use wa er or a liquid de ergen ha will no genera e a hazardous si ua ion.
- Clean he germanium window: remove he pro ec ive guard unscrewing he 3 screws using a no sparking hex wrench. Use wa er or a
liquid de ergen ha will no genera e a hazardous si ua ion. Be careful no o scra ch he carbon coa ing. Using e hyl alcohol,
solven s, hydrogena ed hydrocarbons, s rong acids or alkalis will irreparably damage he germanium window. Once comple ed
he cleaning, properly reassemble he pro ec ive guard.
- Clean he uni : he layer of fil h upon he uni should never exceed 5mm hick. Use a dry or damp clo h. Do no use compressed air.
- Check elec rical connec ions: check cables and elec rical connec ions for in egri y and igh ness. If he cables seem wore or damaged,
refer o he ex raordinary main enance sec ion.
- Check moun ing accessories: check moun ing bol s and screws for in egri y and igh ness. Replace or igh en any damaged/loose
moun ing hardware.
Extraordinary maintenance:
Any in erven ion which is no lis ed in he rou ine ac ivi ies lis mus be done in absence of po en ially explosive a mosphere.
Any repair or replacemen mus be done by, or under supervision of, Tecnovideo. Use only original spare par s.
The manufac urer declines all liabili y for any damage resul ing from ampering, use of non-original spare par s and service carried ou
wi hou following he direc ives of he presen manual.
If he equipmen is likely o come in o con ac wi h aggressive subs ances, hen i is he responsibili y of he user o ake sui able
precau ions ha preven i from being adversely affec ed, hus ensuring ha he ype of pro ec ion is no compromised.
Aggressive subs ances: acidic liquids or gases ha may a ack me als, or solven s ha may affec polymeric ma erials.
Sui able precau ions: regular checks as par of rou ine inspec ions or es ablishing from he ma erial’s da a shee ha i is resis an o
specific chemicals.
