Before using your dishwasher for the first time, fill the rinse aid and detergent dispenser.
Rinse Aid Dispenser - The rinse aid is released during the final rinse to prevent water from
forming droplets on your dishes, which can leave spots and streaks. It also improves dry-
ing by allowing water to roll off the dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to use liquid rinse
aids. The rinse aid dispenser is located inside the door next to the detergent dispenser.
To fill the dispenser, open the cap and pour the rinse aid into the dispenser until the level
indicator turns completely black. The volume of the rinse aid container is about 110ml.
NOTE - It is strongly recommended to only use rinse aid specifically designed for dish-
washers. Never fill the rinse aid dispenser with any other liquid or substances (e.g. dish-
washer cleaning agent, liquid detergent, etc.). This could damage the appliance.
Refilling the rinse aid dispenser - If there is no rinse aid warning light on the control panel,
you can judge the amount of rinse aid by the colour of the optical level indicator (Refer to
Fig.2 Page 7 C) located next to the rinse aid cap. When the rinse aid container is full, the
whole indicator will be dark. As the rinse aid diminishes, the size of the dark dot decreas-
es. It is not recommended to let the rinse aid get below 1/4 full.

Detergents with its chemical ingredients are necessary to remove dirt and transport it out
of the dishwasher. Most of the commercial quality detergents are suitable for this purpose.
DETERGENTS
There are 3 types of detergents:
1. With both phosphate and chlorine
2. With phosphate and without chlorine
3. Without both phosphate and chlorine
Normally, modern pulverised detergents do not contain phosphate. Because of this, the
water softener function of phosphate is less effective. In this case, we recommend filling
the salt container with salt when the hardness of the water is 6 dH or greater. In the case
where the detergent is without phosphate and is washed in hard water, white spots may
appear on dishes and glassware. When this occurs, it is recommended to add more de-
tergent to achieve better results. Detergents without chlorine, may bleach a little. Strong
and coloured spots may not be removed completely. In this case, it is recommended to
choose a program with a higher temperature.
CONCENTRATED DETERGENTS
Based on their chemical composition, detergents can be split in two basic types:
• Conventional, alkaline detergents with caustic components
• Low alkaline concentrated detergents with natural enzymes
The use of normal washing programs in combination with concentrated detergents
reduces pollution and is good for your dishes; these wash programs are specifically
matched to the dirt-dissolving properties of the enzymes of the concentrated detergent.
For this reason, normal wash programs in which concentrated detergents are used, can
achieve the same results that can otherwise only be achieved using intensive programs.
DETERGENT TABLETS
Detergent tablets of different brands dissolve at different speeds. For this reason, some
detergent tablets cannot dissolve and develop their full cleaning power during short
programs. Therefore, it is recommended to use long programs when using detergent tab-
lets, to ensure the complete removal of detergent residuals.
DETERGENT DISPENSER
The dispenser must be refilled before the start of each wash cycle following the instructions
provided in the wash cycle table. Your dishwasher uses less detergent and rinse aid than
Conventional dishwasher. Generally, only one tablespoon of detergent is needed for
a normal wash load. More heavily soiled items need more detergent. Always add the
detergent just before starting the dishwasher, otherwise it could get damp and will not
dissolve properly.
FUNCTION OF DETERGENT

• If the lid is closed:
Press release button. The lid will spring open.
(Refer to Fig. 5a)
• Always add the detergent just before starting
each wash cycle.
• Only use detergent designed for dishwasher
use. Check detergent instructions on
packaging.
Dishwasher detergent is corrosive! Take care to
keep it out of reach of children.
Proper Use of Detergent
Use only detergent specifically made for the use
in dishwashers. Keep your detergent fresh and
dry. Don’t put powdered detergent into the
dispenser until you’re ready to wash dishes.
Fill the dispenser with detergent.
The markings indicate the dosage level, Refer to Fig.6.
A- Location for main wash cycle detergent.
B- Location for pre-wash cycle detergent.
Please check and follow the recommended dosage
and storage instructions as stated on the detergent
packaging.
Close the lid and press until it locks in place.
If the dishes are heavily soiled, place an additional
detergent dose in the pre-wash detergent chamber.
This detergent will take effect during the pre-wash
phase of the wash cycle.
NOTE
• You can find information about the amount of detergent for each program on page 12 of
this manual.
• Please be aware that soiling levels and water hardness can effect wash results.
• Please observe the directions and recommendations found on the chosen detergent
packaging.

• Consider buying dishes, glassware, mugs, cups, cutlery, etc. which are identified as
dishwasher-proof or dishwasher-safe.
• Use a mild detergent that is described as ‘kind to dishes’. If necessary, seek further
information from the detergent manufacturers.
• For particularly delicate or thin items, select a program with as low a wash temperature
as possible. Refer to Page 12.
• To prevent damage, do not take glass and cutlery out of the dishwasher immediately
after the program has ended.
To prevent water dripping from the upper basket into the lower basket, it is recommended
that you empty the lower basket first and then the upper baskets.
(For best performance of the dishwasher, follow these loading guidelines.
Features and appearance of baskets and cutlery baskets may vary from your model.)
Scrape off any large amounts of leftover food. Soften remnants of burnt food in pans.
It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water.
Place objects in the dishwasher in the following way:
1. Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are faced downwards.
2. Curved or items with recesses, should be loaded on a slant so that water can run off.
3. All utensils are stacked securely and can not tip over.
4. All utensils are placed in a way that the spray arms can rotate freely during washing.
NOTE - Very small items should not be washed in the dishwasher as they could easily fall
out of the basket.
• Load hollow items such as cups, glasses, pans etc. with the opening facing downwards
so that water cannot collect in the container or a deep base.
• Dishes and items of cutlery must not lie inside one another, or cover each other.
• To avoid damage to glasses, they must not touch.
• Load large items which are most difficult to clean into the lower basket.
• The upper basket is designed to hold more delicate and lighter dishware such as
glasses, coffee and tea cups.
• Long bladed knives stored in an upright position are a potential hazard.
• Long and/or sharp items of cutlery, such as carving knives, must be positioned
horizontally in the upper basket.
• Cutlery with wooden, horn china or
mother of pearl handles.
• Plastic items that are not heat resistant.
• Older cutlery with glued parts that are not
temperature resistant.
• Bonded cutlery items or dishes
• Pewter or cooper items
• Crystal glass
• Steel items subject to rusting
• Wooden platters
• Items made from synthetic fibres
LIMITED DISHWASHER SUITABILITY
• Some types of glasses can become
dull after a large number of washes.
• Silver and aluminium parts have a
tendency to discolour during washing.
• Glazed patterns may fade if machine
washed frequently.

The upper basket is designed to hold more
delicate and lighter dishware such as glass-
es, coffee and tea cups, saucers, plates,
small bowls and shallow pans (as long as
they are not too dirty).
Position the dishes and cookware so that
they will not get moved by water spray.
The height of the upper basket can be
adjusted in order to create more space for
large utensils both for the upper and lower
basket. The height of the upper basket can be
adjusted by lifting the basket for the
upper position. Lift the adjustment lever to
lower the upper basket. Refer to
Fig.9a and Fig.9b.
Adjustment lever
It is suggested that you place large items
and the most difficult to clean items to be
placed into the lower basket: such as pots,
pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls. Refer
to Fig.8 below.
It is preferable to place serving dishes and
lids on the side of the racks in order to avoid
blocking the rotation of the top spray arm.
For better stacking of pots and pans,
the tines can be folded down. Refer to
Fig.10a and Fig.10b.
For better stacking of pots and pans, the tines can
be folded down. Refer to Fig.11.
Cutlery should be placed in the cutlery rack
separately from each other in the appropriate
positions. Make sure the utensils do not nest
together, this may cause poor wash
performance.

It is recommended to load the lower basket, then the upper basket (Refer to page 11).
2 Pour in the detergent (Refer to pages 7 to 9).
3 Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
Ensure the water supply is turned on to full pressure.
4 Press the ON/OFF Button, and the display will turn on.
5 Press the program button to select your desired program. Press the Start/Pause button,
the dishwasher will start the selected wash cycle.

13
When you press the Start/Pause button during a wash cycle, the selected program
indicator will stop blinking and the buzzer will sound each minute until the Start/Pause
button is pressed and the wash cycle resumes.
Be very careful when opening the dishwasher door during a wash cycle as hot water and
steam may cause injury or burns.
1. A wash program should only be modified if it has been running for a short time.
Otherwise, the detergent may have been released and wash water drained.
If this is the case, refill the detergent dispenser prior to starting another program. (Refer
to page 9).
2. Press the Start/Pause button so that the dishwasher enters stand-by mode. Press and
hold the program button in for at least 3 seconds. You can now change the selected
program. (Refer to page 12).
NOTE
If you open the door during a wash cycle, the dishwasher will pause. The program light will
stop blinking and the buzzer will sound every minute until you close the door. After
you close the door ,the dishwasher will continue the wash cycle after 10 seconds.
Items can be added at any time to a wash that has begun. It is not recommended,
however, to add items once the detergent has been released into the wash cycle. The
additional items will not receive the minimum required detergent for a complete clean.
To add items once a wash cycle has started:
1. Press the Start/Pause button.
2. Slightly open the door (<50mm) and wait for the dishwasher to stop.
3. Once the wash arms have come to a complete stop, open the door completely.
4. Add the additional items to the top or bottom baskets.
5. Close the dishwasher door.
6. Press the Start/Pause button. The wash cycle will resume after 10 seconds.
When the wash cycle has finished, the buzzer will sound for 8 seconds, then stop.
1. Press the power button to switch off the dishwasher
2. Shut off the water supply
3. Open the dishwasher door. Wait for a few minutes before unloading the dishwasher
to avoid handling the dishes and utensils while they are still hot and more susceptible to
breakage. This will assist in the drying process.
4. Switch off the dishwasher at the mains power source.
5. Carefully open the door completely.
NOTE: Hot dishes are sensitive to knocks. The dishes should therefore be allowed to cool
down for aprox. 15 minutes before removing from the dishwasher baskets.
6. Unload the dishwasher. It is normal to find the dishwasher is wet inside.
Empty the lower basket first and then the upper basket. This will avoid water dripping from
the upper basket onto the dishes in the lower basket.

Lift the filter in an upward direction.
NOTE
To replace the filter after maintenance, lower the filter into
place and turn in a clockwise direction to lock in place.
FILTERING SYSTEM
FILTER ASSEMBLY
WARNING
The filter prevents larger remnants of food or other objects from getting inside the pump.
The residues may block the filter, in this case they must be removed.
The filter system consists of a coarse filter,a flat (main filter) and a micro filter (fine filter).
The filter efficiency removes food particles from the water during a wash, allowing the
water to be recycled during a cycle. For best performance and results, the filter must be
cleaned regularly. For this reason, it is recommended to remove the larger food particles
trapped in the filter after each wash by rinsing the semicircular filter and cup under running
water. To remove the filter, pull the cup handle in an upward direction.
1. MAIN FILTER
Food and dirt particles trapped in this filter are pulverized
by a special jet on the lower spray arm and washed down
the drain.
2. COARSE FILTER
This filter is designed for larger debris, such as bone piec-
es or food scraps, that could block the drain. To remove
the items that become trapped in the course filter, gently
squeeze the tap on the top of this filter and lift out.
3. FINE FILTER
This filter collects dirt and food residues in the sump area
and prevent it from returning to the dishes during wash
cycles.

5. Remove the filter at the bottom tub and use a sponge to soak up water in the sump.
NOTE: If your dishwasher does not work due to ice, please contact TECO service.
It is necessary to clean the spray arms regularly as hard
water chemicals will clog the spray arm jets and bearings.
To remove the upper spray arm, hold the nut, rotate the arm
clockwise to remove it.
To remove the lower spray arm, pull out the spray arm upward.
Wash the arms in warm and soapy water and use a soft brush
to clean the jets. Replace them after rinsing them thoroughly.

The entire filter assembly should be checked regularly and cleaned once a week.
To clean the coarse and fine filter, use a cleaning brush. Reassemble the filter parts (refer
to page 14) and reinsert the entire assembly in the dishwasher, positioning it in place and
pressing downwards.
NOTE: When cleaning the filters, avoid knocking and abrasive action as this could cause
the filter to become distorted and effect the performance of the filter and the dishwasher.
The control panel can be cleaned by using a lightly damp cloth. After wiping down, ensure
to dry thoroughly.
To clean the exterior cabinet, use a good appliance polish. Be sure to follow directions on
the polish packaging. Never use sharp objects, scouring pads or harsh cleaners on any
part of the dishwasher.
To clean the edge around the door, you should only use a
soft, warm and damp cloth.
To avoid penetration of water into the door lock (refer to
Fig.15) and electrical components, do not use a spray cleaner
of any kind.

Never use a spray cleaner to clean the door
panel as it may damage the door lock
and electrical components.
Abrasive agents or some paper towels should
not be used because of the risk of
scratching or leaving spots or streaks on the
stainless steel surface.
In extremely cold and frosty environments,
please follow these steps to protect your
dishwasher:
1. When not using the dishwasher,
disconnect the mains power from the wall

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
AFTER EACH WASH
After every wash, turn off the water supply
to the dishwasher and leave the door
slightly open so that moisture and odours
are not trapped inside.
REMOVE THE PLUG
Before cleaning or performing
maintenance, always remove the power
plug from the mains wall socket.
NO SOLVENTS OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS
To clean the exterior and rubber parts of the
dishwasher, do not use solvents or abrasive
cleaning products. Only use a cloth with
warm soapy water. To remove spots or
stains from the surface of the interior, use a
damp cloth with water and a little
vinegar, or a cleaning product made
specifically for dishwashers.
Position the appliance in the desired location. The back should rest against the wall
behind it, and the sides, along the adjacent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher is
equipped with water supply and drain hoses that can be positioned either to the right or
the left sides to facilitate proper installation.
Refer to the rating label for the rated voltage and connect the dishwasher to the
appropriate power supply. Use the required 10 amp fuse, time delay fuse or circuit
breaker recommended and provide separate circuit serving only this appliance.
For your own safety:
• DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD OR AN ADAPTER PLUG
WITH THIS DISHWASHER.
• DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CUT OR REMOVE THE
EARTHING CONNECTION FROM THE POWER CORD
• DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE POWER CORD. IF THE CORD
REQUIRES REPLACEMENT, PLEASE CONTACT TECO SERVICE.
LEVELLING THE DISHWASHER
Once the appliance is positioned for levelling, the height of the
dishwasher may be altered via adjustment of the screwing level of
the feet. In any case, the appliance should not be inclined more
than 2.
WHEN NOT USED FOR LONG PERIODS
It is recommended that you run a wash
cycle with the dishwasher empty and then
remove the power plug from the socket,
turn off the water supply and leave the door
of the appliance slightly open. This will help
the door seals to last longer and prevent
odours from forming within the dishwasher.
MOVING THE DISHWASHER
If the dishwasher must be moved, try to
keep it in the vertical position. If absolutely
necessary, it can be positioned on its back.
SEALS
One of the factors that cause odours to
form in the dishwasher, is food that remain
trapped in the seals.
Periodic cleaning with a damp sponge will
prevent this from occurring.

POWER CONNECTION (CONT.)
POWER CONNECTION - GROUNDING
WATER CONNECTION
CHECK DISHWASHER IS PROPERLY GROUNDED BEFORE USE
Ensure the voltage and frequency of the power being supplied corresponds to
those on the rating plate. Only insert the plug into an electrical socket which is earthed
properly. This dishwasher is designed to operate on a single phase power supply within a
voltage range of 220~240V/50Hz. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified ed persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
This appliance must be earthed. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, earthing will
reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a power cord with an
equipment-earthing conductor and an earthing plug. The plug must be inserted into an
appropriate outlet that is installed and earthed in accordance with local standards and
requirements.
CONNECTING THE SAFETY SUPPLY HOSE (AQUA-STOP)
The appliance must be connected to the water mains using a new
hose set. An old hose set should not be reused.
Water pressure must be between 0.04 MPa and 1 MPa.
If the pressure is below the minimum requirement, please consult your
local water supplier, authorised plumber or TECO service department
• Improper connection of the equipment earthing conductor may increase the risk of an
electric shock.
• Check with a qualified electrician or TECO service if you have any doubt about the
electrical safety of power source or power plug.
• Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance. If the plug does not fit properly in the
outlet, please consult a qualified electrician.

AQUA-STOP HOSE
DISCONNECTING THE AQUA-STOP HOSE
COLD WATER CONNECTION
DRAIN HOSE CONNECTION
The Aqua-stop hose consists of double walls. The hose system guarantees its intervention
by blocking the flow of water in cases where the supply hose breaks or when the space
between the supply hose itself and the outer corrugated hose is full of water.
Connect the cold water supply hose to a threaded 19mm (3/4 inch) connector and make
sure that it is fastened tightly in place. If the water pipes are new or have not been used for
an extended period of time, let the water run, to make sure that the water is clear and free
of impurities. This is done to prevent the water inlet from blockages and damage to the
dishwasher.
Insert the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 40mm, or let it run into
the sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. The hose must not be raised above
1m.
Choose either method A or B (refer to Fig.19) to connect the drain hose.
Turn off the water at the source.
Release the water pressure by depressing the hose slightly.
Unscrew the Aqua-stop hose from the faucet.

DRAINING EXCESS WATER
If the sink is greater than 1m high off the floor, the excess water in the hoses cannot be
drained directly into the sink. It will be necessary to drain excess water from the hoses into
a bowl or suitable container that is held outside and lower than the sink.
WATER OUTLET
Connect the water drain hose. The drain hose must be correctly fitted to avoid water leaks.
Ensure that the water drain hose is not kinked or squashed.
EXTENSION HOSE
If you need a drain hose extension, make sure to use a similar drain hose.
It must be no longer than 4m; otherwise the cleaning effect of the dishwasher could be
reduced.
SYPHON CONNECTION
Insert the drain hose into a drain pipe with a minimum diameter of 40mm, or let it run into
a sink, making sure to avoid bending or crimping it. The top of the hose must be less than
1m from the floor.
Before operating the dishwasher, please check the following
1. The dishwasher is level and fixed properly in place.
2. The inlet valve is open
3. There are no leaks from any conduct connections.
4. The power cable is securely connected to the mains power source.
5. The power is switched on.
6. The inlet and drain hoses are free of kinks and blockages.
7. All packing and printed material have been removed from the dishwasher.
8. Keep this manual in a safe location for future reference.
