Freon-free
The freon-freerefrigerant(R600a)andthe foaminginsulationmaterial(cyclopentane)thatis environmentallyfriendlyare
used fortherefrigerator, causing nodamagetothe ozonosphereand having verysmallimpacton the global warming.
R600a isflammable,and sealed in arefrigeration system,withoutleakageduring normaluse.But, in caseofrefrigerant
leakage due totherefrigerantcircuitbeingdamaged,be suretokeep the applianceawayfromopen flamesand openthe
windowsfor ventilationasquicklyaspossible.

Thisis aside-by-sideinverterfridge-freezeradopting theelectronic controlmode.Itsrightpart is the fridge compartment
forfreshfood storage,suchasfruits,vegetables,eggs,milk,cookedfoods,etc.; and itsleft part is the freezer
compartment wherefish, meat, etc.canbefrozen for thelong-termstorage.

The freon-freerefrigerant and foaming insulationmaterialareusedfor the fridge-freezer, causingnodamagetothe
ozonosphereand havingaverysmallimpact ontheglobalwarming,soitistheenvironmentallyfriendlyproduct.

III.Preparationsforuse
Installation location:
1. Ventilationcondition
The positionyou selectfortherefrigeratorinstallationshould bewell-ventilatedandhaslesshotair.Donotlocatethe
refrigerator near aheat sourcesuchascooker, andavoid it fromdirectsunlight, thusguaranteeing therefrigeration effect
while saving energyconsumption.Donotlocatethe refrigeratorin thedampplace,soastopreventthe refrigeratorfrom
rusting andleakingelectricity.The resultofthe total spaceofthe roomin whichthe refrigeratoris installed being divided
bythe refrigerantcharge amount ofthe refrigerator shallnot be lessthan8g/ M3.
Note: The amount of refrigerant chargedforthe refrigerator can be found on the nameplate.
2. Heat dissipation space
When working,therefrigeratorgivesoffheattosurroundings.Therefore,atleast300mmoffreespaceshould bespared
at the top side,morethan100mm onbothsides,and above50mmatthe backsideof the refrigerator.

3. Level ground
Place the refrigeratoron thesolid and flatground(floor) tokeep itstable,orelse,itwill giverise tovibrationand noise.
Whenthe refrigeratorisplaced on suchflooring materialsascarpet, strawmat, polyvinylchloride,the solid backing plates
should beapplied underneaththe refrigerator, soastoprevent colorchange due toheat dissipation.
Unobstructedventilationshall be maintainedaroundtheappliance orinanembeddedstructure.
Preparationsforuse
1. Standing time
Aftertherefrigeratorisproperlyinstalled and well cleaned,do notswitchiton immediately.Makesuretoenergizethe
refrigeratoraftermorethan1hour ofstanding,soastoensureitsnormal operation.
2. Cleaning
Confirmthe accessorypartsinsidethe refrigerator andwipe the insidewithasoft cloth.
3. Power-on
Inserttheplugintothesolidsockettostartthecompressor.After1hour, openthe freezerdoor,ifthetemperatureinside
the freezer compartment dropsobviously,it indicatesthe refrigeration systemisworkingnormally.
4. Storage of food
Aftertherefrigeratorrunsforaperiodoftime,the internaltemperatureofthe refrigeratorwill beautomaticallycontrolled
accordingtotheuser’stemperaturesetting.Afterthe refrigeratorisfullycooled,putin foods,whichusuallyneed2~3
hourstobefullycooled.Insummer,when thetemperatureis high,ittakesmorethan4hoursforthefoodstobefully
cooled (Trytoopentherefrigerator door aslessaspossible beforethe internaltemperaturecoolsdown).
If the refrigeratorisinstalledinthe moistureplace,make suretocheckwhetherthe ground wireand leakage
circuit breakerarenormal. Ifvibration noisesareproduced due totherefrigeratorcontacting the wallorif the
wall getsblackened byairconvection aroundthe compressor,movethe refrigeratorawayfrom the wall. Setting
up therefrigeratormaycause jammingnoise orimagechaostothemobilephone,fixed-linetelephone,radio
receiver, televisionsetsurrounding it, so trytokeep the refrigeratorasfarawayas possibleinsuch case.
IV.Functions
FunctionSetting
Whenthe refrigeratorsystemisconnected topowersupplyforthe first time,all iconson thedisplaypanelgetsilluminated

for2s,and the fridge temperatureiscontrolled at5℃and thefreezer temperature at -18℃bydefault.When allthedoors
areclose,thedisplaygetsextinguishedautomaticallyifno keyoperationwithin 3minutes.Whenthedisplayisoff, itwill
lightup if anydooris opened or anykeyispressed.
The following keyoperationsarevalid onlywhen thekeys areunlocked and getsilluminatedon the display.
1Functions
1.1Temp.setting
1)Fridgetemperaturesetting
Whenthefridge temperaturesetting function is notactive,pressthe Fridge”keyforthe firsttime,thenthe iconofthe
currenttemperaturemode startsflashing,withthe fridge temperaturesubjected tochange.At thispoint,pressthe Fridge”
keyagain, then the fridgetemperaturevalueswill cycleasfollowing:
5→6→8→(quickcooling)→2→4→5;
During thetemperaturesetting process,theicon ofthe selected temperaturemode keepsflashing,andifno keyoperation
within 5seconds, itstopsflashing, withthefridge temperaturesettingtakingeffectautomatically.
2)Freezer temperaturesetting
Whenthe freezertemperaturesettingfunction is notactive,pressthe Freezer”keyforthefirsttime,thentheiconofthe
currenttemperaturemodesstartsflashing,withthefreezertemperaturesubjectedtochange.At thispoint,pressthe
Freezer”keyagain, then the freezer temperaturevalueswill cycleasfollowing:
-18→-20 →-22 →-24 →(fast freezing)→-16 →-18;
During the freezertemperaturesettingprocess,theiconofthe selectedtemperaturemodekeepsflashing,andifnokey
operation within5seconds,itstopsflashing, withthe freezertemperaturesetting taking effect automatically.
1.2Fast freezing
When theFastFreezingfunction isenabled,thefreezertemperaturewillbecontrolledat -32℃automatically,and
after 26 hoursof running, the Fast Freezing function getsexited automatically. Coolingdownthe freezer temperaturein a
rapid mannerhelpspreservefoodsagainst nutrition lossand keepthemfreshasever.
1.3Quick cooling
1)Whenthequickcooling function isactivated, the fridgetemperaturewill be controlled at 2℃.
1.4Dooropenalarm
If anydoor isopen for morethan 3 minutes, buzzeralarmswillbe continuouslyissued, whichcan be stopped when any
keyispressed,butwill berestored after3minutesifthedoorkeepsopen.Thealarmswill notbelifteduntilthedoor is
closed.
1.5Power cutmemory
Inthe caseofpowerfailure,therefrigeratorwill maintainthe runningstatethatissetbefore the poweroutagewhen the
power supplyis restored.
1.6Power-on delay
Inordertoprotectthe refrigeratorcompressorfrombeingdamaged inthe caseofshort-timepowerfailure(i.e.,less
than 5minutes), the compressor will notbe started immediatelyafterit ispowered on.

Precautionsforuse

range for whichthe refrigeratingapplianceis designed

lThe internaltemperaturecould be affected bysuchfactorsasthe location ofrefrigerating appliance,ambient
temperature,andfrequencyofdooropen,etc., and ifappropriate,awarningthatsetting ofanytemperaturecontrol
device might havetobe varied toallowfor thesefactorsshould bemade.
lEffervescent drinksshould notbe storedinthe freezercompartment or the low-temperaturecompartment, andsome
productssuchaswater icesshouldnotbe consumed too cold.
Food storage location
Due tothecold aircirculationin therefrigerator,thetemperatureofeachareainthe refrigeratorisdifferent, sodifferent
kindsof foodshould beplaced in different areas.
The freshfoodcompartmentissuitableforthestorageofsuchfoodsasneednottobefrozen,thecookedfood,beer,eggs,
somecondimentsthatneedcold preservation,milk,fruitjuice,etc.The crisperboxis suitableforthe preservationof
vegetables,fruits,etc.
The freezercompartmentissuitable forthe storage oficecream,frozen foodandthefoodsto be preserved foralongtime.
Use of thefresh food compartment
Fridgeshelf:Whenremovingthe shelf, liftitupfirst,andthenpullit out;andwhen installing the shelf, placeitintoposition
beforeputting it down. Keep theshelf rear flange upward, toprevent foodsfromcontact theliner wall.When taking out or
putting intheshelf,holditfirmly, and handlewithcaretoavoiddamage.
Crisperbox:Pulloutthecrisperboxforaccesstofood.Afterusingorcleaningthe coverplateofthecrisperbox,besureto
put itback ontothe crisper,so that theinternal temperatureof the crisperboxwill notbe affected.
Cautions forfood storage
You’dbetter cleanthe foodsand wipe themdrybeforestoringtheminside therefrigerator. Beforefoodsareputin the
refrigerator, it isadvisable toseal themup,soastopreventwater evaporationtokeep freshfruitsand vegetables on one
hand,and preventtaint ofodoron theother hand.
Donotputtoomanyortoo weightfoodsinside the refrigerator. Keepenoughspacebetween foods;iftooclose,thecoldair
flowwill be blocked,thusaffectingtherefrigerationeffect. Donotstoreexcessiveoroverweightfoods,toavoidtheshelf
frombeingcrushed.Whenstoring thefoods,keepadistanceawayfromtheinnerwall;and donotplacethewater-rich
foodstooclosetothe fridgerear wall, lest theyget frozen onthe inner wall.
Categorizedstorage offoods:Foodsshould bestored bycategory,withthe foodsyou eat everydayplaced in frontofthe
shelf, sothat thedoor open durationcanbe shortened and food spoilage duetoexpiration can be avoid.
Energy-savingtips:Allowthehotfoodcooldowntotheroomtemperaturebeforeputtingitin therefrigerator. Putthe
frozen foodinthefreshfoodcompartmenttothaw,usingthelowtemperatureofthefrozen food tocool thefreshfood,thus
saving energy.
Storage of fruitsandvegetables
Inthe caseofrefrigerating applianceswithchill compartment, astatementtothe effectthatsometypesoffreshvegetables
and fruitsaresensitivetocoldand thereforearenotsuitable for storage in thiskind of compartment should bemade.
Use of thefrozenfood storage compartment
The freezertemperatureiscontrolled below-18 ℃,and itisadvisabletostorethe food forlong-termpreservation in the
freezer compartment, but the storage durationindicatedon thefoodpackagingshould beadhered to.
The freezer drawersareused tostorefood thatneedstobe frozen. Fishand meatoflarge blocksizeshould becut into
small piecesand packedintofresh-keepingbagsbeforetheyareevenlydistributed insidethe freezerdrawers.
Fast freezing
(1)Refer tothe descriptionaboutfast freezingfunction inthe Function”section.
(2)Compared withthe normal freezing,fastfreezing enablesfood topassthroughthemaximumicecrystal formation
zone atthefastestspeed. Fastfreezing can freezethefood watercontentintofine icecrystals,withoutdamaging the
cellmembrane,socell juicewill notbelostwhen thawing,and the originalfreshnessandnutritionoffoodcan be
maintained.
(3)The fast-freezingfunction isdesignedtopreservenutrition ofthe frozen food,withthe foodthoroughlyfrozen inthe
shortesttime. Fast freezingconsumesmoreenergythanthenormalfreezing does.
Allowthe hotfoodstocool downtothe roomtemperaturebeforeputting theminthefreezer compartment.
Donotputaglasscontainerwithliquidorthecannedliquidthatissealed in the freezercompartment, soastoavoid burst
due tovolumeexpansion afterthe liquid getsfrozen up.
Divide the food intoappropriatelysmallportions
You’dbetter pack the food upbeforefreezingit, and thepacking bagused should be dry, in casethe packing bagsare
frozen together.Foodsshouldbe packed orcoveredbysuchsuitablematerialsasarefirm,tasteless,impervioustoairand
water, non-toxic andpollution-free, toavoid cross-contamination andtransferofodor.
Tips forshopping thefrozenfoods
1.Whenyou arebuyingfrozenfood,lookattheStorageGuidelineson thepackaging.You will beabletostoreeachitemof
frozen foodforthe period shownagainstthe starrating. This is usuallytheperiod stated as Best tousethembefore×”,
found on the front of thepackaging.
2. Check the temperatureofthefrozen food cabinetin the shop whereyou buythe frozenfoods.
3. Makesurethe frozen food package is in perfect condition.
4. Alwaysbuyfrozen productslaston yourshopping trip orvisit tothesupermarket.

tokeepfrozen food together whilstshopping and on thejourneyhome,asthiswill helptokeepthe foodcooler.
6. Don’t buyfrozenfoodunlessyou can freezeitstraight away. Special insulated bagscan be boughtfrommost

Moving the refrigerator/freezer
Location
Donotplaceyour
refrigerator/freezernearaheatsource,e.g.cooker, boilerorradiator. Avoid itfromdirectsunlightin
out-buildingsorsunlounges.
Leveling
Makesuretolevelyourrefrigerator/freezerusing thefrontlevelingfeet. Ifnotlevel,therefrigerator/fr
sealing performancewill be affected, oreven itmaylead tothe operating failureofyour refrigerator/freezer.
