Installing the outdoor unit
1. Insert batteries into the outdoor unit.
2. Mount the outdoor unit on an elevated location.
3. Use a compass or GPS to align the outdoor unit so that the “S” by the wind vane on the unit
is facing south.
Installing the indoor display unit
1. Insert batteries to operate the display without power adapter or as backup in case of a
power outage.
2. Insert the DC plug of the power adapter by extending the stand on the bottom of the indoor
unit. There are two positions for the DC plug, depending on if you want to use the display
stand or mount it on the wall.
3. Place or mount the indoor unit.
4. Sensor values from the outdoor unit will be displayed shortly. If the display does not
show values from the outdoor unit, it may need to be connected manually. Please see the
Troubleshooting section for instructions.
Setting up the indoor display unit (time, date, etc)
1. Press and hold SET until the unit beeps.
2. Change values by pressing CHANNEL/+ or MIN/MAX/-.
3. Save changes by pressing (do not hold) SET.
Setting up an alarm
1. Start by pressing ALARM quickly.
2. Press and hold SET until the indoor display unit beeps.
3. Change values by pressing CHANNEL/+ or MIN/MAX/-.
4. Turn the alarm on or o by quickly pressing ALARM.
5. Save changes by pressing (do not hold) SET.
6. Alarms can be set for time, wind, temperature, humidity, rain and pressure.
Adding sensors to Telldus Live!
When TellStick has received signals from the indoor unit, 4 new sensors will be available:
• Wind direction, wind speed and gust
• Outdoor temperature and humidity
• Rain mm/h and total rain
• Indoor temperature and humidity
Adding the sensors from a computer:
1. Browse to Telldus Live! (live.telldus.com) on your computer and log in to your account.
2. Click “View Sensors”.
3. Expand the row for the sensor you want to add and click Edit Sensor.
4. Name the sensor and click Save.
Adding the sensors from the Telldus Live app:
1. Open the Telldus Live! app on your mobile device.
2. Tap “Sensors”.
3. Tap ‘+’ in the top right corner.
4. Choose 433 MHz sensors.
5. Select the sensor you would like to add, and follow the guide to nish the process.

Other features
• Turn on LED on the display: If the LED is o, Press the SNOOZE button once. The backlight
will turn on for 5 seconds, and if no operation is performed for 3 seconds, the backlight will
turn o. The backlight operation is dierent when operating on batteries to save power.
• Sync with outdoor unit: If the outdoor sensor loses communication, dashes (--.-) will be
displayed on the screen. To reacquire the lost signal, press and hold the CH/+ button for 5
seconds to enter the sensor search mode. Make sure the sensor is within range and has
fresh batteries.
• Reset MAX/MIN Values:
The minimum and maximum value of all channels will be cleared in the reset mode.
1. In normal mode, Press (do not hold) the MIN/MAX/-key. The MAX icon will be displayed.
2. Press the SET key.
3. Press and hold the MIN/MAX/- key for 3 seconds. CLR is ashing in the time area to clear
the previous MAX values. The maximum values will now display the current values.
To clear the minimum values, repeat the steps and make sure the MIN values are displayed
in step 1.
Maintenance
Clean the rain gauge and wind transmitter once every 3 months:
1. Unscrew the rain collector funnel by turning it 30°counter clockwise.
2. Gently remove the rain collector funnel.
3. Clean and remove any debris or insects.
4. Install the collector funnel aer it has been cleaned and completely dried.
Change batteries when needed.
Troubleshooting
• Outdoor unit not reporting to indoor unit. If the outdoor sensor loses communication,
dashes (--.-) will be displayed on the screen. To reacquire the lost signal, press and hold the
CH/+ button for 5 seconds to enter the sensor search mode. Make sure the sensor is within
range and has fresh batteries.
• Indoor unit display contrast is weak. Replace indoor unit batteries with fresh ones.
• TellStick does not receive values from indoor unit. Make sure the TellStick is well within
range of the indoor unit. If it is closer than 1,5 m try moving them apart a little. Make sure
the indoor unit display is working and the transmitter icon is ashing every 16 seconds.
Also make sure you have a TellStick that can receive 433 MHz signals (TellStick ZNet Lite
v2/Net v2/Net).

ANVÄNDARMANUAL FÖR SMART VÄDERSTATION
Installera utomhusenheten
1. Sätt i batterierna i utomhusenheten.
2. Installera utomhusenheten så den står fritt.
3. Använd en kompass eller GPS för att se till att ”S”-märkningen vid vindöjeln på enheten
hamnar i riktning mot söder.
Installera inomhusenheten
1. Sätt i batterierna i inomhusenheten, antingen för att driva den utan nätadapter eller för att
undvika att förlora sensordata vid ett eventuellt strömavbrott.
2. Anslut nätadaptern bakom foten på inomhusenhetens baksida. Nätadaptern kan anslutas på
olika sätt beroende på om enheten ska stå själv eller monteras på en vägg.
3. Placera eller montera inomhusenheten.
4. Sensordata från utomhusenheten dyker upp på displayen inom kort. Om displayen inte visar
värden från utomhusenheten kan de behöva kopplas ihop manuellt. Vänligen se avsnittet
Felsökning för instruktioner.
Kongurera inomhusenheten (tid, datum m.m.)
1. Tryck och håll inne SET tills dess att displayen piper.
2. Ändra värde genom att trycka på CHANNEL/+ eller MIN/MAX/-.
3. Spara ändringar genom att trycka (utan att hålla inne) på SET.
Sätt ett alarm
1. Tryck (utan att hålla inne) på ALARM.
2. Tryck och håll inne SET tills dess att displayen piper.
3. Ändra värde genom att trycka på CHANNEL/+ eller MIN/MAX/-.
4. Aktivera eller inaktivera alarmet genom att trycka (utan att hålla inne) på ALARM.
5. Spara ändringar genom att trycka (utan att hålla inne) på SET.
6. Alarm kan sättas för tid, vind, temperatur, lufuktighet, regn och lutryck.
Lägg till sensorerna i Telldus Live!
När din TellStick tar emot signaler från inomhusenheten så kommer 4 nya sensorer bli synliga:
• Vindriktning, vindhastighet samt vindby.
• Utomhustemperatur och lufuktighet.
• Nederbörd mm/h samt total nederbörd.
• Inomhustemperatur och lufuktighet.
Lägg till sensorerna från en dator:
1. Navigera till Telldus Live! (live.telldus.com) i en webbläsare och logga in på ditt konto.
2. Klicka på “Visa sensorer”.
3. Expandera önskad sensor genom att klicka på den och välj “Redigera sensor”.
4. Namnge sensorn och klicka på “Spara”.
Lägg till sensorerna från Telldus Live!-appen:
1. Öppna Telldus Live!-appen på din mobila enhet.
2. Tryck på “Sensorer”.
3. Tryck på “+”-tecknet uppe till höger på skärmen.
4. Välj “433 MHz”.
5. Välj sensorn du vill lägga till och följ stegen på skärmen.
Andra funktioner
• Sätt på LED-belysningen: Om LED-belysningen är av, tryck på SNOOZE-knappen en gång.
Bakgrundsbelysningen kommer att lysa i 5 sekunder, och om ingen annan åtgärd utförs inom
3 sekunder kommer bakgrundsbelysningen att stängas av. Bakgrundsbelysningens funktion
är annorlunda när enheten drivs av enbart batterier för att spara energi.
• Synkronisera med utomhusenheten: Om kontakten med utomhusenheten förloras kommer
streck (--.-) att visas på skärmen. För att återupprätta anslutningen, tryck och håll inne
CH/+-knappen i 5 sekunder för att starta sensorsökningsläget. Se till att sensorn är inom
räckvidden för inomhusenheten och har nya batterier.
• Återställa MAX/MIN värden: Lägsta och högsta värde för alla kanaler rensas i
återställnings läget.
1. I normalläge, tryck (håll inte inne) på MIN/MAX-knappen. MAX-ikonen visas på skärmen.
2. Tryck på SET-knappen.
3. Tryck och håll inne MIN/MAX-knappen i 3 sekunder. CLR kommer att visas på tids-delen
av displayen för att indikera återställning av tidigare MAX-värden.
För att ta bort lägsta-värden, upprepa stegen ovan och se till att det är MIN-värden som
visas på skärmen i steg 1.
Underhåll
Rengör regnmätaren och vindmätaren med tre månaders mellanrum:
1. Lossa tratten till regnmätaren genom att vrida den 30° moturs.
2. Ta varsamt bort tratten.
3. Rengör och ta bort eventuella lösa föremål eller insekter.
4. Sätt tillbaka tratten eer att den blivit rengjord och hunnit torka.
Byt batterier vid behov.
Felsökning
• Utomhusenheten rapporterar inte till inomhusenheten. Om utomhusenheten förlorar
kontakten kommer streck (--.-) att visas på skärmen på inomhusenheten. För att
återupprätta anslutningen, tryck och håll inne CH/+-knappen i 5 sekunder för att starta
sensorsökningsläget. Se till att utomhusenheten är inom räckvidden för inomhusenheten
och har nya batterier.
• Kontrasten på inomhusenhetens skärm är svag. Byt ut batterierna i inomhusenheten till
nya batterier.
• TellStick tar inte emot värden från inomhusenheten. Säkerställ att TellStick benner
sig inom räckvidden för inomhusenheten. Om enheterna är närmre varandra än 1,5m prova
att ytta isär dem något. Veriera att inomhusenhetens skärm fungerar och att sändnings-
indikatorlampan blinkar var 16:e sekund. Bekräa att du har en TellStick som kan ta emot
433MHz-signaler (TellStick ZNet Lite v2/Net v2/Net).
