Break out the tenalach Night & Day Bocce set and have a ball. Well, many of them.
If you’re looking for laughs, look no further than a little backwoods bocce.
The object of Night & Day Bocce Ball is to roll your bocce closer to the pallino (jack)
than your opponent(s).
Night & Day Bocce Ball can be played outdoors on a gravel, sand or grass
surface. A suggested court size is approximately 12’ wide (3.6m) by 60’ long (18m).
Mark a foul line at the beginning of your court. Adjust playing area size as needed.
8LED bocce (4.2”/107mm ) - 2 green, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 orange

Twist the cap counter clockwise and detach it from the ball. Remove the LED case found
inside. Twist the LED case cap counter clockwise, and remove the LED circuit and battery
holder found inside. Gently bend metal prongs outwards and remove battery holder from the
LED. Remove old batteries from battery holder, and replace with two new LR44/357/AG13
batteries, positive to negative.
Twist dial clockwise until light turns on.
To turn light o, twist dial counter clockwise.

Determine who goes first with a coin toss.
Team One begins the game by throwing the pallino, and then rolls their first
bocce as close to the pallino as possible.
Team Two then tries to roll a bocce closer to the pallino than Team One. Both teams
continue to take turns, one player at a time, until all bocce have been tossed
(Team One rolls a bocce, Team Two rolls a bocce, then Team One, etc.)
After all bocce are tossed, the Team with the closest bocce to the pallino scores.
This team earns a point for every ball that is closer to the pallino than their
opponents’.
The team that scores in a frame starts the next frame by throwing out the
pallino and playing its first bocce.

Only one team receives points for each bocce closer to the pallino than the
opponents’ closest bocce per frame.
A team can score up to four points per frame.
If two opposing bocce appear to be the same distance away from the pallino, use the
measuring tape to confirm which is closer.
If the closest bocce of each team is equal in distance from the pallino, no points are awarded.
The first team to 12 points (or how many points you’ve decided beforehand) wins.
Players can knock the opponents’ ball away from the pallino.
Players can knock the pallino toward their own team’s bocce.
We recommend that players stay outside of the playing area when balls are being tossed.

Treat your set with care to help the fun times last for years. Do not use game components for
anything other than their intended purpose. Use a damp cloth to spot clean case, bocce, or
pallino if necessary. Store in a dry area between 59°F to 77°F (15°C to 25°C), and never leave
outside for an extended period of time. If lights flicker or appear dimmer, please replace the
batteries. Be sure that lights are turned o to prevent batteries from draining. Be sure that

Your tenalach outdoor game is guaranteed against defects in workmanship or materials and is
covered by a limited lifetime warranty. This warranty doesn’t include batteries, the measuring
