STEP (3) – Winch:
• First, release locking lever and pull
some wire cable slack— enough to be
able to place pulley out of the way
and to reach pulley to top of upper
pole, later
• Align winch with the 3 holes on the
mounting plate
Note: winch is tucked on the side
of lower pole— not outside the
mounting plate, as ahown
• Secure with 3 smaller bolts
(13mm)
• Attach handle, using the supplied bolt
STEP (4) – Pulley:
• Align pulley with the 4 holes of the
mounting plate, on top of the
upper pole
Note: keep pole on the ground, (careful
that it doesn’t get clogged with dirt)—
this will make it easier to work
• Make sure, when positioning pulley,
that the hook will fall on the opposite
side of the R-pin holes (see page 1.)
• Attach pulley, using 4 smaller bolts
(13mm)
STEP (5) – Upper Support
Pole:
• First, check that there is enough slack
in the cable
• Lift upper pole and slide it onto the
lower pole, as shown
Note: do not twist wire cable— winch
and hook should be on opposite sides
(see page 1.)
• Secure pole with 2 R-pins
Frame Tent Jack Use:
• After the Tent Jack is completely
assembled, position it close to your
tent frame
• Create a loop, using wire cable and
hook, as shown
• Loop around the tent perimeter/
spreader pole(s)
Note:
hook should
fall on opposite
side of R-pins
and winch
