Care & Maintenance Instructions for
Junior Gazebo
DO
*Check that you have all parts and components before and after your trip.
* Allow your gazebo to dry completely before you pack it away for storage. This will discourage the formation of
mildew. (Although the fabric is treated with mildew inhibitor, no fabric is completely mildew-proof.)
*Secure your gazebo properly when pitching it, so that strong winds cannot dislodge and damage it.
DON’T
*Store your gazebo on a concrete floor.
*Pitch your gazebo near an open fire.
*Spray your gazebo with insecticide.
*Stand on the canvas cover.
*Store your gazebo in a damp state and out of direct sunlight
*Wash your gazebo with a detergent, don’t bleach, don’t dry clean, don’t iron and don’t tumble dry.
*Pitch your gazebo under a tree which may drop sap or gum.
*Expose your gazebo to any open flame. Candles, matches, camp- fire and any heating/cooking flame should be kept
well clear of your gazebo.
*Cleared off all loose threads, DO NOT PULL it, but cut it off with a scissor.
BEFORE USE
*When preparing for a trip, pitch your gazebo fully at home, using the assembly checklist provided. This exercise will
ensure that:
(1) The gazebo is undamaged.
(2) None of its sections or accessories is missing.
(3) You become familiar with the gazebo structure and how to pitch it.
*Remember to take along extra gazebo pegs, guy ropes and storm straps.
*When packing up your gazebo, check off all parts against your list so that nothing is left behind.
MAINTENANCE TIPS
Coastal Camping
*Wash down all poles and other metal parts to prevent corrosion. Dry well.
*Treat poles with a non corrosive agent before packing away. (Silicon base spray)
Stains
*Sponge the stained area lightly. Do not use a scrubbing brush or any form of detergent, as these may affect the gazebo
fabric.
