ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO
PRIMO UTILIZZO
• Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio lavare tutte le parti che entrano a contatto con gli alimenti.
(vedere paragrafo pulizia).
COME UTILIZZARE L’APPARECCHIO PER LA COTTURA
• Appoggiare l’apparecchio su un piano orizzontale e stabile lontano da materiali e
sostanze inammabili.
• Chiudere l’apparecchio facendo sormontare le piastre e inserire la spina nella presa
di corrente.
• La spia rossa (3) si accende indicando che l’apparecchio è in funzione e le piastre sono
in fase di riscaldamento.
• Quando la spia verde (2) si accende l’apparecchio è pronto per l’utilizzo.
• Aprire l’apparecchio attraverso l’impugnatura ed inserire l’alimento senza aggiungere
olio o altri condimenti, facendo attenzione a non toccare le parti calde.
• Chiudere l’apparecchio in modo che la supercie dell’alimento venga a contatto con
entrambe le piastre.
• Durante la cottura la spia luminosa verde (2) si accenderà e spegnerà automaticamente
indicando che la temperatura delle piastre viene tenuta costante.
• Nel caso in cui si formassero dei sughi durante la cottura rimuoverli utilizzando un
utensile da cucina antigrafo, facendo attenzione poiché molto caldi.
• A cottura ultimata aprire l’apparecchio attraverso l’impugnatura e rimuovere l’alimento
con l’aiuto di un utensile da cucina anti-grafo, prestando attenzione poiché le piastre
sono molto calde.
• Richiudere l’apparecchio per preservare il calore se si intende cuocere altri alimenti.
• A ne utilizzo scollegare la spina dalla presa di corrente e lasciare raffreddare
l’apparecchio prima di pulirlo e di riporlo. La durata della cottura dipende dal tipo di
alimento, dallo spessore e dai propri gusti personali; con l’uso e l’esperienza sarete in
grado di determinare i tempi adatti ad ottenere i migliori risultati.
NOTA!
Al primo utilizzo possono formarsi dei fumi, ciò è normale ed è dovuto agli elementi
protettivi di lavorazione residui sulle resistenze interne: questo scomparirà con
gli impieghi successivi.
ATTENZIONE!
• Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in prossimità di fonti di calore.
• Assicurarsi che il cavo di alimentazione non entri in contatto con le parti calde
dell’apparecchio.
• Utilizzare l’apparecchio lontano da materiali facilmente inammabili (tende, tovaglie,
ecc.) in quanto possono incendiarsi.
• Non rigare il rivestimento speciale delle piastre di cottura poiché i frammenti del
rivestimento potrebbero ritrovarsi negli alimenti: utilizzare esclusivamente utensili
antigrafo.
• L’apparecchio non è provvisto di interruttore, quindi togliere sempre la spina dalla presa

The present manual is an integral part of the appliance and must
be carefully read before using it as it gives important indications
with regard to safety of installation, use and maintenance. Keep
it with care.
•After taking off the packing make sure that the appliance is intact. In case of doubt
do not use it and contact an assistance centre authorised by LANGE DISTRIBUTION.
•Do not leave pieces of packing (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, nails etc.) within
reach of children or persons with reduced mental capacities since these are potential
sources of danger.
•If the appliance comes with an earth plug, the electrical safety is ensured only when
this plug is correctly connected to an effective earthing system in compliance with
the existing electrical safety standards. LANGE DISTRIBUTION shall not be held
responsible for any damages caused by the lack of an earthing system.
•Before connecting the plug to the outlet check that the working voltage of the
appliance corresponds to the one in your house. If in doubt, contact professionally

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ON FIRST USE
• Before using the appliance, wash all the parts that come into contact with food.
(see Cleaning paragraph).
HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE FOR GRILLING
• Put the appliance on a at, steady surface away from inammable materials and
substances.
• Close the appliance by placing one plate over the other and plug into outlet.
• The red light (3) will come on to show that the appliance is ON and the plates are
heating up.
• The appliance is ready to be used when the green light (2) comes on.
• Open the appliance by the handle and put in the food without adding oil or other
seasoning; be careful not to touch the hot parts.
• Close the appliance so that the food inside is in contact with both plates.
• The green light (2) will automatically come on and go off during grilling indicating that
the plates are being kept at a constant temperature.
• Remove any juice formed during cooking with a non-scratch kitchen utensil; be careful,
as it is very hot.
• Open the appliance by the handle when you have nished grilling and remove the food
with a non-scratch kitchen utensil; be careful, as the plates are very hot.
• Close the appliance again to keep in the heat if you want to grill something else.
• Unplug from the supply outlet when you have nished and leave the appliance to cool
down before cleaning it and putting it away. Grilling time depends on the type of food,
thickness and personal taste; with use and experience you will be able to decide the
most appropriate timing to get the best results.
CAUTION!
There may be some smoke when you use the appliance for the rst time, this
is normal and is due to residue from production protective substances on the
resistance inside: this will disappear when you use it again.
IMPORTANT!!
• Do not use the appliance near to sources of heat.
• Make sure the cord does not touch the hot parts of the appliance.
• Use the appliance at a proper distance from easily inammable materials (curtains,
tablecloths, etc.) as they could catch re.
• Do not scratch the special coating on the grill plates as you might nd some bits of
coating in the food: use non-scratch utensils only.
• The appliance does not have a switch so you must always unplug from the outlet when
it is not being used.
• The appliance plates reach very high temperatures, so it is necessary to choose a
safe place for the operation and keep a distance of at least 10 cm from the appliance.

INFORMATION FOR USERS
In accordance with European Directives 2002/95/CE, 2002/96/CE and 2003/108/CE on the re-
striction of the use of dangerous substances in electric and electronic equipment as well as
their waste disposal.
•The barred symbol of the rubbish bin shown on the equipment indicates that, at the end of its useful life,
the product must be collected separately from other waste.
•Therefore, any products that have reached the end of their useful life must be given to waste disposal
centres specialising in separate collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment, or given back to
the retailer at the time of purchasing new similar equipment, on a one forone basis.
•The adequate separate collection for the subsequent start-up of the equipment sent to be recycled, tre-
ated and disposal of in an environmentally compatible way contributes to preventing possible negative
effects on the environment and health and optimises the recycling and reuse of components making up
the apparatus.
•Abusive disposal of the product by the user involves application of the administrative sanctions according
to the laws in force.
WARNING!
Always unplug from the supply outlet and wait for the appliance to cool down
before any sort of cleaning.
•Use a kitchen roll or a damp cloth to clean the plates: do not use chemical or abrasive
products.
• Use a damp cloth only to clean the main part of the appliance (1).
• Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.
• Dry thoroughly before putting the appliance away.
CLEANING
Do not touch the external surface of the appliance when it is running, since
this part may reach a high temperature.
• Do not place objects on the top of the appliance while it is running.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’UTILISATION
FRANÇAIS
PREMIÈRE UTILISATION
• Avant d’utiliser l’appareil, laver toutes les parties qui seront en contact avec les aliments
(voir paragraphe nettoyage).
COMMENT UTILISER L’APPAREIL POUR LA CUISSON
• Poser l’appareil sur un plan horizontal et stable, loin des matériaux et des substances
inammables.
• Fermer l’appareil en superposant les plaques et introduire la che dans la prise de
courant.
• Le voyant rouge (3) s’allume pour indiquer que l’appareil marche et que les plaques
sont en cours de réchauffement.
• Quand le voyant vert (2) s’allume, l’appareil est prêt à l’emploi.
• Ouvrir l’appareil au moyen de la poignée et y poser l’aliment sans ajouter d’huile ni
d’autres assaisonnements, en prenant garde à ne pas toucher les parties chaudes.
• Refermer l’appareil de sorte que la surface de l’aliment touche les deux plaques.
• Durant la cuisson, le voyant vert (2) s’allume et s’éteint automatiquement, ce qui indique
que les plaques sont maintenues à une température constante.
• Si du jus apparait durant la cuisson, l’éliminer avec un ustensile de cuisine anti-rayure,
en faisant attention à ne pas se brûler.
• Une fois la cuisson terminée, ouvrir l’appareil au moyen de la poignée et retirer l’aliment
avec un ustensile anti-rayure. Faire attention à ne pas se brûler car les plaques sont
très chaudes.
• Refermer l’appareil pour préserver la chaleur si on a l’intention de faire cuire d’autres
aliments.
• A la n de l’utilisation, débrancher la che de la prise de courant et laisser refroidir
l’appareil avant de le nettoyer et de le ranger. La durée de la cuisson dépend du type
d’aliment, de son épaisseur et des goûts personnels; après plusieurs utilisations et une
certaine expérience vous serez en mesure de connaitre les temps qui vous permettront
d’obtenir d’excellents résultats.
Remarque!
Au cours de la première utilisation, on pourra noter des fumées. Ce phénomène est
normal et il est dû aux protections qui sont restées sur les résistances internes,
posées durant la fabrication. Il disparaitra au fur et à mesure qu’on emploiera
l’appareil.
ATTENTION!
• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil à proximité des sources de chaleur.
• Vérier que le cordon d’alimentation ne touche pas les parties chaudes de l’appareil.
• Utiliser l’appareil à distance des matériaux facilement inammables (rideaux, nappes,
ect.) car ils pourraient prendre feu.
• Ne pas rayer le revêtement spécial des plaques de cuisson car on pourrait retrouver des
fragments du revêtement dans les aliments : n’utiliser que des ustensiles anti-rayures.
• L’appareil n’est pas équipé d’un interrupteur. Il faut donc le débrancher de la prise de

ERSTER GEBRAUCH
• Vor dem ersten Gebrauch, sind alle Teile zu waschen, die mit Lebensmitteln in Berührung
kommen.(SiehedazuPegedesGerätes)
DIE VERWENDUNG DES GERÄTES ZUM KOCHEN
• Das Gerät auf einer waagerechten und stabilen Fläche, weit von entzündbaren Quellen
oder Stoffen stellen.
• Das Gerät schließen, indem man die Platten gegeneinander klappt und den Stecker
in die Steckdose stecken.
• Die rote Kontrollleuchte (3) schaltet sich ein und zeigt dabei an, dass das Gerät in
Betrieb ist und dass die Platten sich gerade aufheizen.
• Wenn die grüne Kontrolllampe (2) sich einschaltet, ist das Gerät betriebsbereit.
• Das Gerät durch den Griff öffnen und die Lebensmittel ohne Öl oder andere Zutaten.
Dabei aufpassen, die heißen Teilen nicht anzufassen.
• Das Gerät schließen und dabei aufpassen, dass die Oberäche des Lebensmittels in
Berührung mit beiden Platten kommt.
• Während des Kochvorganges schaltet die grüne Kontrolllampe (2) ein und aus und
zeigt an, dass die Plattentemperatur konstant behalten wird.
• Bilden sich während des Kochvorganges Saucen, so müssen diese mit nicht kratzenden
Kochutensilien beseitigt werden. Dabei aufpassen, weil diese sehr heiß sind.
• Am Ende des Kochvorganges das Gerät durch den Griff öffnen und die Lebensmittel
mit nicht kratzenden Kochutensilien entfernen. Dabei aufpassen, da die Platten sehr
heiß sind.
• Wenn man weiter kochen will, das Gerät wieder schließen, damit die Hitze nicht
entweicht.
• Am Ende den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen und warten bis das Gerät vollkommen
kalt ist, bevor man es reinigt und aufräumt. Die Dauer des Kochvorganges hängt von
den zu kochenden Lebensmitteln, von der Dichte und vom individuellen Geschmack
ab; mit dem Gebrauch und der Erfahrung werden Sie die richtigen Zeiten für optimale
Kochergebnissen lernen.
MERKE!
Bei dem ersten Gebrauch kann es passieren, dass sich Rauch bildet. Dies ist normal
und ist den restlichen Schutzelemente, die auf den inneren Heizwiderständen
bleiben, zuzuschreiben. Das Problem löst sich eigenständig mit dem weiteren
Gebrauch!
ACHTUNG!
• Das Gerät darf nie neben anderen Hitzequellen verwendet werden.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Stromkabel nicht mit warmen Teilen in Berührung kommt.
• Dar Gerät soll weit von leicht entammbaren Stoffen (Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw.)
verwendet werden, das diese sich entzünden könnten.
• Die Spezialverkleidung der Kochplatten sollte nicht gekratzt werden, da Stücke davon
in die Lebensmitteln eindringen könnten.

INFORMATIONEN FÜR DIE BENUTZER

•Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Mülltonne auf dem Gerät besagt, dass es am Ende seiner Verwen-
dungszeit getrennt von anderen Abfällen entsorgt werden muss.
•Der Benutzer muss daher das Gerät nach Beendigung seiner Verwendungsdauer zu geeigneten Sam-
melstellen für die getrennte Abfallentsorgung von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten bringen
oder es dem Endverkäufer beim Kauf eines neuen Geräts von ähnlicher Art im Verhältnis eins zu eins
übergeben.
•Die angemessene Abfalltrennung und die darauf folgende Verbringung des aufgelassenen Geräts in
den Recyclingkreislauf zur umweltverträglichen Verwertung und Entsorgung tragen dazu bei, mögliche
negative Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit zu vermeiden und sie begünstigen das
