For Your Safety
Proper use
The Subconnect RX is intended for
receiving a mono subwoofer signal and
for transmitting it to the subwoofer via
an RCA cable. The Subconnect TX or
another compatible device from our
assortment can be used as a trans-
mitter.
Only use the Subconnect RX as
described in this instruction manual.
Any other use will be deemed as not
in accordance with the instructions
and may lead to damage of property or
even persons.
The manufacturer accepts no liability
for damage caused by improper use.
The Subconnect RX is intended for
private use.
Explanation of terms
You can find the following signal terms
in these instructions:
WARNING
This signal term indicates a
moderate risk, which, if not
avoided, may result in death or
severe injury.
CAUTION
This signal term indicates a low
risk, which, if not avoided, may
result in minor or moderate
injury.
NOTICE
This signal term warns you of
potential damage.
Safety notes
This chapter contains general safe-
ty notes which you should always
observe to protect yourself and third
parties. Also observe the warning
notes in each chapter of this instruc-
tion manual.
Improper electrical installation or
excessive mains voltage may result
in an electrical shock.
• The enclosed mains adapter is suita-
ble for a mains voltage of 100 – 240
V ~ 50/60 Hz. When connecting the
device, make sure that the correct
voltage is present.
• Only use the enclosed mains adapter
or a mains adapter with an identical
construction.
• Check the mains adapter regularly
for damage. Do not in any case use
a damaged mains adapter.
• Never open the housing of the mains
adapter.
• Only use the device indoors and not
in wet rooms. Protect it from drip-
ping and splashing water. Make sure
that no vases or other liquid-filled
containers are located on or near
the device in order to prevent liquid
from penetrating the housing. If wa-

ter or other debris has infiltrated the
device, immediately pull the mains
adapter out of the socket.
• This Subconnect RX is disconnected
from the mains by pulling the mains
adapter. Therefore, make sure that
the mains adapter is always easily
accessible.
• Never modify the Subconnect RX.
Unauthorised interventions may
affect the safety and functionality.
• Let an authorised specialist work-
shop perform repairs. Only parts that
comply with the original device data
may be used for repairs.
• Never touch the mains adapters
with wet hands.
An unsuitable location may result in
accidents or damage to property.
• Do not expose the Subconnect RX
to direct sunlight and do not set it
up near heat sources (e.g. heaters,
ovens, other heat generating equip-
ment such as amplifiers etc.).
• Do not use the Subconnect RX in en-
vironments with a risk of explosion
and only in locations where wireless
transmission is permitted.
Children can become trapped in
the packing film when playing and
suffocate.
• Do not allow children to play with
the device or the packing film.

Old devices must not be
disposed of with house-
hold waste!
If the device is no longer oper-
ational, every consumer is required by
law to dispose of old devices separate-
ly from household waste, e.g. at a col-
lection point run by the communal au-
thority/borough. This ensures that old
devices are recycled in a professional
manner and also rules out negative
consequences for the environment.
For this reason, electrical equipment is
marked with the adjacent symbol.

Setup/Wall Mounting
Setup location
NOTICE
If the device is subjected to
warm temperatures after being
cold (e.g. after transport), con-
densation may occur inside of it.
–In this case, wait at least 2
hours before
you connect and
activate it.
CAUTION
–This Subconnect RX is dis-
connected from the mains
by pulling the mains adapter.
Therefore, make sure that
the mains adapter is always
easily accessible.
• Select a stable, level base.
In case of wall mounting, follow the
instructions in the next chapter.
• Make sure that the environment is
clean and free from dust.
• Select a location away from heat
sources and direct sunlight.
• Lay the connector cables so that
they do not pose a tripping hazard.
• Do not place any heavy objects on
the cables or the device.
Wall mounting
For wall installation, 2 keyhole open-
ings are located on the bottom of the
Subconnect RX that can be used to
hang it on 2 screws.
CAUTION
–Make sure that there are no
cables or pipes in the wall
where you intend to mount
the device. Before you drill
holes for the dowels, use a
metal detector to check the
applicable areas. Otherwise,
there is a risk of electric
shock/short circuit!

Connecting
Operation
1. Connect the jack (2) with the input
jack of your subwoofer via a mono
RCA cable.
2. Insert the round connector of the
mains adapter into the jack (1).
3. Plug the mains adapter into an easi-
ly accessible mains socket.

Manual connection
1. Push the pairing button (3) until the
LED (4) quickly blinks in blue.
2. Put the associated transmitter also
into paring mode. For more informa-
tion, please refer to the transmitter’s
instruction manual.
• As soon as the Subconnect RX finds
a compatible transmitter, it will
connect with it.
The LED (4) will illuminate continu-
ously in blue.

Automatic connection
• If the Subconnect RX was already
connected with a compatible trans-
mitter, a connection with it will be
established immediately.
The LED (4) will illuminate continu-
ously in blue.
• If there is no transmitter nearby or if
it is switched off, the Subconnect RX
will look for a transmitter.
The LED (4) will slowly blink in blue.
• The connection will be established
as soon as you switch on the trans-
mitter.
The LED (4) will illuminate continu-
ously in blue.
Automatic activation/
deactivation
• As soon as the Subconnect RX
receives a signal from a connected
transmitter, it will switch back on
from standby mode.
• If the signal is deactivated, the
Subconnect RX will switch back to
standby mode after a short time.

Cleaning & Maintenance
CAUTION
–Pull the mains adapter out of
the socket before you clean it.
NOTICE
Using the wrong cleaning agents
may damage the housing.
–Do not use caustic cleaning
products, rubbing alcohol,
thinners, petrol or similar un-
der any circumstances. Such
cleaning agents may damage
the surface of the housing.
• Ideally, you should remove dust or
small amounts of dirt with a dry,
smooth cloth.
• Rub off stubborn dirt with a damp
cloth. Make sure that no liquid pene-
trates the housing.
• Then immediately wipe the surfaces
dry with a soft cloth.

Troubleshooting
The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this does not help, you
will find useful information in the detailed FAQs on our website. Otherwise, please
contact our hotline (see page 3). Take note of the warranty instructions.
