Important Safety Instructions
When using any electrical apparatus always observe safety regulations and use basic

uSubtitles may be displayed in one of a maximum
of 32 languages available (multi-subtitles DVD
only)
uAudio soundtrack can be heard in up to 8
languages (multi-languages DVD only).
uMulti-angle function allows you to choose the
viewing angles of scene (for DVD with multiple
camera angles only).
High quality digital audio
uDVD AUDIO/DOLBY DIGITAL/MPEG2 Audio/
Linear PCM decoder is built into this player which
makes it possible to have Multi-Channel
Surround sound.
Other convenient features
uParental lock settings to prevent playing
unsuitable discs for some audiences (DVD
only).
uAfull function remote control provides quick
access to DVD and CARD reader functions.
PAL DVD and NTSC DVD
uThis player can play discs recorded in either
PAL or NTSC system. However, the player
must be connected to a multi-system TV to
play both PAL DVD and NTSC DVD. The use of
amulti-system TV is recommended and set
the video output of this player as AUTO in the
video setup.
CD compatibility
uThis player could play various discs such as
DVD, CD (8cm/12cm discs). But it cannot play
DVD + R (RW) nor DVD – R (RW) disc.
uThis player can play MPEG 4 format movies
such as DivX3.11, DivX4+, 5+, 5+Pro
Note: MPEG 4 discs with bit rate above 1Mbps
may not be played normally.
Built-in 5-in-1 card reader
uThis player has built-in 5-in-1 card reader which
supports the reading of Smart Media Card(SM),
Secure Digital Card(SD), Multi-Media Card
(MMC), Memory Stick(MS), Compact Flash Card
I/II_(CF). Supported media: Jpeg pictures,
MPEG4, WMA and MP3.
Precautions
Please read these precautions before operating
this unit.
Power cord protection
To avoid any malfunctions of the unit, and to protect
against electric shock, fire or personal injury,
please observe the following.
uHold the plug firmly when connecting or
disconnecting the AC power cord to this unit.
uNever connect or disconnect the AC power
cord if you’re hands are wet.
uKeep the AC power cord away from heating
appliances.
uNever put any heavy object on the AC power
cord.
FEATURES AND PRECAUTIONS
uDo not attempt to repair the AC power cord.
uRemove dust, dirt, etc… from the plug at regular
intervals.
uIf the unit has been dropped or otherwise
damaged, turn off the power and disconnect
the AC power cord.
uIf you find smoke, bad smells or noises from
the unit, turn off the power and disconnect the
AC power cord immediately.
Placement
The internal parts may be seriously damaged if
the unit is placed in areas of:
uDirect sunlight or heating radiators, or within
automobiles;
uHigh temperature (over 35oC) or high humidity
(over 90%);
uExcessive dust;
uStrong magnetic or static electricity;
uVibration, impact or where the surface is tilted.
Non-use Periods
uTurn off the power when the unit is not used.
uIt should be unplugged when the unit is idle for
along period of time.
No fingers or other objects inside
uTouching internal parts of this unit is dangerous,
and may cause serious damage to the unit and
even injury.
uDo not try to disassemble this unit.
uDo not place objects in the disc tray other than
CD’s or DVD disks.
Keep away from water and magnets
uKeep the unit away from flower vases, tubs,
sinks, etc. If liquids are spilled into the unit,
serious damage could occur.
uNever bring magnetic objects such as speakers
near to the unit.
Stacking
uPlace the unit only in a horizontal flat position,
and do not place anything heavy on it.
uDo not put the unit on amplifiers or other
equipment, which may become hot.
Condensation
Moisture may form on the lens in the following
conditions:
uIn a steamy or very humid environment
If moisture forms inside this unit, it may not operate
correctly. In this case please turn off the power
until the environmental conditions change.
Interference for the TV broadcast
Depending on the reception condition of your
television some interference may appear on the
TV screen while watching a TV broadcast and
the unit is DVD player is turned on. This is not a
malfunction of the unit or the TV. Simply ensure
that the unit is turned off when you watch a TV
broadcast and the DVD player is not required.

BASIC CONNECTION
uEnsure that the power switch on this unit and
all peripheral equipment are turned off before
commencing installation.
uRead through the instructions before
connecting other equipment
uEnsure that you observe the color-coding
when connecting audio and video cables
uPlease use only one signal connection method
to the TV set and choose the correct video
output settings on the player, otherwise there
may be some image distortion.
Connecting to stereo TV set (See Fig. A)
1. TV set (not included)

5,6,7. Component video cable (optional) to the
corresponding Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr VIDEO IN jack
on the TV. (green, blue, red).
8, 9. To audio input connector (Audio output L, R)
10. AC power cord.
To get better picture quality, you can use an S-
video cable (not supplied) to connect to your TV
set only if your TV has an S-video input. Please
note that you will have to change your TV set to
the S-video input.
If your TV set has a Y, Cb, Cr input, you can
obtain an even clearer picture when you connect
to the Y, Cb, Cr output jacks of this DVD player.
The Video out setting must be set as YUV if you
use the Y, Cb and Cr outputs.
If your TV has the “Y Pb Pr” function (progressive
scan function), you can use this unit’s progressive
scan output by using the Y Pb Pr output jacks &
setting the DVD player’s VIDEO OUT as Y Pb Pr.
Notes:
1. Select the following speaker size setting in
the “Audio” menu if you are using the TV
speakers:
Front: Large
Center/Rear/Subwoofer: Off.
This setting creates the Stereo effect, the
signal from Audio output L, R is the same as
the FL & FR output, this is also the same as
the audio signal from the SCART jack.
2. Only one kind of connection to your TV set
can be made at one time. If your TV set doesn’t
support “Y Pb Pr” function then DO NOT switch
the VIDEO OUT to Y Pb Pr on your DVD Player,
otherwise this will result in no picture being
shown.
3. Please note that not all high definition television
sets are fully compatible with this product and
may cause distortion be displayed within the
picture. In case of a 525 or 625 progressive
scan picture problem, it is recommended that
you switch the connection to the ‘standard
definition’ output.
Connection with SCART Jack (See Fig. B)

The unit’s video output must be set up as RGB to
use the SCART function.
Notes:
1. Select your desired video connection from
the options below.
2. Select the following speaker size setting in
the “Audio” menu if you are using the TV
speakers:
Front: Large
Center/Rear/Subwoofer: Off.
3. Never connect an Audio output and SCART
output at the same time.

BASIC CONNECTION
Connecting to AV amplifier with 5.1 channel (See Fig. C)
This player contains a Dolby Digital or MPEG2 decoder. This enables the playback of a DVD disc
recorded in Dolby Digital, MPEG1/2 audio or linear PCM without external decoder support. When the
DVD player is connected to an AV amplifier with 5.1 channel input connectors, theater quality audio can
be enjoyed at your home when you are playing a DVD disc recorded in Dolby digital, MPEG1/2 audio or
linear PCM.

Recommendation:
Set the speaker size in the “Audio” menu to either:
Front/Centre/Rear: Large, Subwoofer: ON,
or
Front/Centre/Rear: Small, Subwoofer: ON.
Notes:
uSelect the correct “audio” settings for this
player according to your audio system
requirements after connection has been made.
uIf the type of speaker connected does not
correspond to the channels recorded then the
disc will not play all channels; only the front 2
channels.
uDVDs recorded in Linear PCM/96kHZ sampling
will play back as only 2 channels.

Connecting to an external decoder or a power amplifier (See Fig. D)
When DVD discs recorded in DOLBY digital, MPEG audio or other special formats are played, a
corresponding bit stream is output from the player’s OPTICAL and COAXIAL digital audio output connector.
When the player is connected to an external decoder or a power amplifier, you can enjoy theater-
quality sound in your home.
Notes when connecting the optical digital cable: (See Fig. E)
Remove the protective cap from the optical connector; insert the plug of the DVD and amplifier optical
slot so that the configurations of both the cable and the connector match. Keep the protective cap and
always reattach the cap when not using the connector to protect the laser beam against dust.
Coaxial digital audio output connector:
*Sound having 96 KHZ sampling will be converted
to 48 KHZ sampling when it is output from the
coaxial digital audio output connector
Note: Please set the digital output as RAW.
Caution: Do not connect an amplifier with a
Coaxial or Optical digital input connector, which
does not contain the Dolby Digital or MPEG audio
decoder otherwise it may be harmful to your ears
and damage your speakers

REMOTE CONTROL PREPARATION
Battery Installation
Insert the batteries while observing the positive
(+) and negative (-) polarities as shown.
Service life of batteries
uThe batteries normally last for a year although
this depends on how often the remote control
is used.
uIf the remote control unit fails to work even
when it is operated near the player, replace
the batteries with new ones. Do not mix old
and new batteries
uUse size AAA UM-4 batteries (2 pieces).
Notes:
uDo not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries.
uDo not attempt to recharge, short circuit,
disassemble, heat or throw the batteries into
afire.
uDo not drop or step on the remote control,
damaged parts may lead to a malfunction.
uDo not mix old and new batteries.
uIf the remote control is not going to be used for
along period of time, remove the batteries to
avoid storage damage.
uIf a leaking electrolyte liquid from a faulty battery
comes into contact with your body, wash
thoroughly with water.
Remote control operation range
uThe operation range of the remote control is
no more than 5m from and within about 60
degree of the front of the unit.
uThe operating distance may vary according to
the brightness of the room.
Note:
uDo not point bright lights into the remote control
sensor.
uDo not place objects between the remote
control and the remote control sensor.
uDo not use this remote control together with
the remote control of other equipment.

Preparation before playing disc
uThe display language is preset to English.
Please refer to Setup operation.
uMost of the functions are operated by the
remote control. The same functions can be
performed with buttons on either the remote
control or on the front panel.
Preparation
uTurn the TV on and select AV as the TV input.
uSwitch on the stereo system power if the
player has been connected to a stereo system.
I. Operation for DVD features
This player will enter DVD playback mode after
the power has been turned on. Pressing the
CARD/DVD button on the remote control can
switch from Card reader mode to DVD playing
mode.
PLAY
1. Connect the AC power cord to a suitable AC
outlet (AC230-240V, 50Hz).
2. Press the STANDBY button. HELLO will be
shown on the VFD Display, the VFD Display
will then show LOAD. (Note: The disc
information will appear after several seconds.
If there is no disc in the DVD player NO DISC
will be shown on the Display).
3. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc
tray. OPEN will be indicated on the upper right
corner of TV screen.
4. Place a disc (8cm or 12cm) onto the disc tray.
(For one- sided discs, position the disc with
printed title side facing up. For a two-sided
disc, position the side to be played facing
down).
5. Press OPEN/CLOSE again to close the disc tray.
6. Press PLAY to playback the disc. You can
follow the on-screen MENU of the DVD disc;
press ENTER or the OK button to playback.
Some discs will play themselves automatically
after being loaded.
7. Switch off the power by pushing the power
button again. BYE will appear on the Display
before shutting down.
STOP
Press the STOP button to stop playing at any time.
When playback is stopped, the unit records the
point where STOP was pressed (RESUME
function). Press PLAY again, and play will resume
from this point. Press the STOP button twice and
the RESUME function will be cancelled.
The RESUME function is suitable for discs showing
playing time during playback.
Note: Some discs including MPEG4 discs have no
such function.
STANDBY
When you press the STANDBY button, the player
will switch to Standby status. When pressed again,
the player will return to normal working status.
SKIP- / SKIP+
Press the SKIP- or SKIP+ buttons on the remote
control during playback. A chapter (DVD) or a
track (CD) is skipped back ”-“ or forward ”+”
correspondingly each time the button is pressed.
PAGE- / PAGE+ button
For multi-page menus of DVD-Audio discs, press
PAGE+/PAGE- to go to next page or previous page.
F.FWD / F.RWD
Press the F.FWD / F.RWD buttons on the remote
control during playback and the unit will enter fast
Forward / fast Reverse mode. There are 4 speeds
of fast forward (or reverse) available: x2, x4, x8,
x16 and x 32. To return to normal play, press the
PLAY button on the front panel or the remote control
again.
Note: 1. Some discs have no such function
2. For MPEG4 discs, if the played file is too small,
the speed levels of fast forward (or reverse) will
only have x2 or x4.
SLOWF / SLOWR
Press the SLOWF/SLOWR buttons on the remote
control during playback and the unit will enter slow
forward/reverse mode. There are 4 speeds
available: 1/2, 1/4, 1/6 and 1/7. To return to normal
play, press the PLAY button on the front panel or
remote control again.
Note: 1. Some discs have no such function
PAUSE / STEP
Press PAUSE/STEP button during play, the player
will enter the still picture mode. If the button is
pressed again, the disc is advanced by one frame
(step). When the button is pressed again,
consecutive frames advance. To return to normal
play, press PLAY button.
Note: 1. Some discs have not such function
NOTE: During the playing of the introduction of a
movie, PAUSE/STEP, F.FWD, F.RWD, SLOW, SKIP-
/SKIP+ may be ineffective.
Number (0-9 button)
Use the number buttons on the remote to directly
jump to a desired track or chapter.
MUTE
Press the MUTE button during play to silence the
audio signal to the speakers, a mute picture on
screen, press MUTE again to cancel. Pressing
the VOL+ or VOL also cancels the MUTE function.
VOLUME+/-
Press VOLUME+/- button during play may change
volume for audio output. The VOLUME button has
no effect on the digital output signals.

DISPLAY
Press the DISPLAY button during play to show
the disc’s relevant information on TV screen.
ZOOM
Press the ZOOM button during play or pause to
zoom up the current picture. There are 3 levels of
zoom available (x1, x2, x3). Press continuously
to resume normal playing. Some discs have no
such function or have only x1 or x2.
MODE
Press the MODE button during normal playback to
display the MODE and REPEAT menus. Use the
5or6buttons to select your desired item and
press the OK button to set the options in the
submenu. For DVD discs there are two options in
mode submenu (OFF, Shuffle) and three options
in REPEAT submenu (CHAPTER, TITLE and OFF).
For CD discs there are two options in mode
submenu (OFF, and Shuffle) and three options in
REPEAT submenu (SINGLE, ALL and OFF).
After choosing your desired option, please press
MODE again to turn the MODE menu off before
proceeding
Note. Some MPEG4 discs have no such function.
A-B REPEAT
Press A-B button during playback at the point
where repeat play is to commence (a) then press
again at the point where repeat play is to be
concluded (B). Repeat playback between point
(A) and point (B) starts.
Press A-B button once more where TV screen
shows “Rep off”.
Note: Some DVD discs have no such function.
REPEAT
Press the REPEAT button during the play to choose
from different REPEAT modes.
RETURN
Stop playing the current track or song then press
this button to return to the main menu from the
current menu when playing WMA, MP3, JPEG,
MPEG4 discs.
MARK
Press the “MARK”button on remote control during
the disc is played and the menu of mark setting
with three bookmarks will appear on the screen.
Use the direction buttons (5or6)on the remote
control to select mark numbers (Bookmarks 1, 2 &
3), and press the “OK” button to enter the playing
times where you would like to view again
afterwards. A maximum of three marks can be
stored.
Press “CLR” button to clear a particular mark.
Press “MARK” button to clear the display.
To play from a marked point, use the direction
buttons (5or6)on the remote control to select
your desired mark, and press “OK” button to start
OPERATION
to playback from that point.
Marked positions can be recalled anytime by
pressing “MARK” button on the remote control.
Note:
1. All the marks are cleared when the power is
off or the disc is removed.
2. Some discs including WMA, MP3, JPEG, MPEG4,
DVD-AUDIO discs have no such function.
CLR
Setting program or searching need to input
number. Press CLR button to clear the number
when the input number is wrong.
ANGLE/AUDIO
Press ANGLE continuously during playback DVD
disc to toggle the disc between available angles
recorded on the disc if the disc has multi-angle
function.
Press AUDIO button during playback to toggle
between available audio languages recorded on
the disc if the disc has this multi-language function.
Note: Press AUDIO button could toggle available
audio language soundtracks.
PROGRAM
Press STOP button first then press PROGRAM
button, the program playback screen appears on
the TV set. 25 tracks or chapters can be
programmed. Use the NUMBER buttons to input
your preferred track (CD) or chapter (DVD) when
the blue cursor flashes on the position 1. Note:
Programming DVD must input title number ahead
of “:” and chapter number after it. It is invalid to
input the number larger than available. Then press
direction button (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) down
to remove blue cursor to position 2 and the same
procedure to program your preferred track or
chapter. Use CLR button and enter new number
to amend false or unsatisfied program through
direction button. After you have selected all your
preferred title/chapter(s) or track(s), Remove the
cursor to “Play Program” and press “OK” button
or just press PLAY button to start program play. If
the cursor is removed to CLEAR ALL then press
OK button to clear all your entered numbers so as
to reenter. After desired numbers have been
entered, move the cursor to Play Program and
press OK to start the program playback.
You can quit program setting by pressing
‘PRGRAM’ button again and PLAY again to start
normal playback.
Note:
1. Some discs have no program function.
2. No Search function during programming playing
SEARCH
When you play a DVD disc, press the “SEARCH”
button and “Time” and “Title / Chapter” will appear
on the screen. Use the number buttons to set the
time or chapter or title. Press the “OK” button to
start playing from the selected point and press

TITLE (DVD only)
For DVD discs, press the TITLE button on the
remote control during playback, a list of titles on
the disc (depends on discs) will be displayed on
the TV. Use the direction button or the number
button to select your preferred title then press the
“OK” button to play.
MENU
Press the MENU button on the remote control
during playback of the DVD; a list of titles on the
disc (depends on discs) will be displayed on TV
set.
Use the direction or number buttons to select your
preferred items then press OK button to confirm
to display on TV set as you selected.
SUBTITLE
Press the SUBTITLE button on remote control
during playback. “Subtitle: [1]” will be displayed
on TV set that means a kind of language. Press
once more, “Subtitle: [2]” appeared on TV set
means another kind of language and accordingly
subtitles appear that represents how many kinds
of language being selected. “Subtitle: [OFF]”
appears that toggle subtitle.
Note:This function is valid only for DVD discs
with subtitles.
VIDEO OUT
This button provides easy access to this unit’s
video output without need to enter SETUP menu.
This button is effective during the STOP status.
Press continuously, it changes to following outputs
signal in turn: S-VIDEO, YUV, RGB, Y Pb Pr
Note:
1. The first time you press this button, the OSD
shows current video out format; If you want
to change the VIDEO output, you need to press
this button again before the OSD disappears.
2. The TV set without YUV input jacks will appear
Black-screen when you shift the unit’s VIDEO
OUT to YUV, that is a normal phenomena.
3. The TV set with YUV input jacks but no
Progressive Scan function can not play
normally if you shift the unit’s VIDEO-OUT to Y
Pb Pr, and blue screen will occur.
JPEG Photo CD/WMA/MP3/MPEG4 playing
Depends on folder/files structure written on the
CD-ROM, playback may start automatically after
inserting the CD-ROM with JPEG, WMA, MP3, or
MPEG4 and enter playing control menu as below.
Note: Some characters of the folder/file names
may not be displayed correctly.
These control modes are available: Folder Normal,
Folder Repeat, Disc Scan, Disc normal, Disc
repeat, Shuffle, Program Begin, Program End,
Single Track, Repeat single.
Remark:
1. Press the LEFT/RIGHT button to switch
between different control windows and during
MP3/WMA playing, you will need to STOP
playing the song first then switch between
the different windows.
2. Program Begin & Program End are for
Programming playing control only. When you
choose Program begin, please use the Left/
Right buttons to move the cursor to the desired
folder/file list window and press the OK button
to choose the desired files, then move the
cursor to the Program Begin and switch it to
Program End, then press the PLAY button to
play.
Playing control
Use the PLAY, STOP and PAUSE buttons for
control purposes. You may also select the next /
previous picture or songs using the SKIP+ and
SKIP- buttons. When one song is playing, you
can choose anther song by press the number
button and wait for 1 second or press the OK
button to go straight there.
Angle (JPEG file only)
You can rotate the picture to get different viewing
angles by pressing the ANGLE button. The
following angles can be displayed in turn: original
90, 180 or 270 Degrees.
Zoom (JPEG file only)
You get zoom in on pictures by pressing ZOOM
button. The following zoom levels are available:
Q4/3, Q3/2, Q2, Q1/4, Q1/2 and QOFF. Press PLAY
button to return normal.
Remark:
1. Some discs have no such function
2. Pictures larger than 1MB may not be displayed
correctly.
Title (JPEG file only)
Press TITLE button during play, up to 9 small
pictures within current folder will be displayed in
thumbnail mode, You can use the 345 6buttons to
choose your favorite picture. At the same time,
you can press the SKIP-/+ button to go to previous/
next page.
Note:
1. The reading time of JPEG picture CD formatted
discs may vary due to the level of content.
Please allow more time for highly formatted
discs.

JPEG picture files depending on their source
such as downloading from the Internet.
II. Operation for Card Reader
This player will enter DVD working status after
power on. Press the CARD/DVD button on the
remote control to select the card reader, the screen
will display “Loading Card” then the unit will switch
to card reader status.
Digital Media Card Compatibility
This card reader supports five different cards -
CompactFlash, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital,
SmartMedia, and Memory Stick.
The CompactFlash model is compatible with CF I/
II of 8/16/32/64/128/256 and 512MB capacity.
The Secure Digital model is compatible with most
brands of Secure Digital of 8/16/32/64/128/256 or
512MB capacity.
The MultiMediaCard is compatible with most brands
of MultiMediaCard/PRO of 8/16/32/64 or 128MB.
The Memory Stick model is compatible with
Memory Stick & Memory Stick Duo of 4/8/16/32/64
or 128MB.
The SmartMedia model is compatible with Smart
media of 8/16/32/64/128MB.
Media supported for above cards:
JPEG pictures, MP3, WMA and MPEG4.
Inserting cards
Press the right side of the card reader door to
open it and then insert the card.
Caution:
To avoid complications while attempting to use
this Card Reader, we recommend reading this
entire chapter and follow the instructions to insert
different cards.
Warning!
Do not bend the cards of force them into the reader.
If forced they may be damaged, if damaged then
data may be lost forever.
Inserting a SmartMedia Card
1. Position the SmartMedia card so that it is on its
side with the gold contacts located on the
bottom, the media’s notched corner should be
facing the left when the gold contacts are on
the bottom. Please refer to illustration below
for proper insertion.
2. Insert the card into the slot with the gold
contacts on the bottom and the notched corner
facing left. Gently push the card in all the way
until the card is fixed in place.
Remark: This product can only accept 3.3V
SmartMedia cards. Notice the notched corner of
the SmartMedia card. The location of the notch
for a 3.3V SmartMedia card will appear on the
right-hand side when you are looking directly at
the gold contacts from the top (refer to the
illustration at the bottom of the page).
IMPORTANT NOTE: 5V SmartMedia cards are not
supported.

Inserting a CompactFlash Card
1. Position the CompactFlash card on its side with
the media manufacturer’s label down (refer to
the image) and the connectors facing away
from you. Insert the CompactFlash into the
reader with the CompactFlash connectors first
and label facing downwards.
2. Gently push the card in all the way until the
card will insert no further.
WARNING: Be careful not to insert the
CompactFlash card in the wrong direction - be
sure the connectors are facing inward and the
card’s label is on the top side.
Inserting a MultiMediaCard or Secure Digital
Card
1. Position the MultiMediaCard or Secure Digital
card on its side with the media’s label on the
bottom and gold contacts on the top. The media
should be positioned so that the gold contacts
are farthest from you and inserted into the
reader first. Please refer to below image for
proper media insertion.

2. Insert the card into the slot gold contacts first
and the recessed notch on the left. Gently
push the card in all the way until the card is
fixed in place.
IMPORTANT: Notice the notched corner of the
MultiMediaCard or Secure Digital card and be
careful not to insert the MultiMediaCard or Secure
Digital card in the wrong direction. To insert
properly, be sure that the card is positioned so
that the recessed notch is facing left and the
media’s label is on the bottom. The media is to be
inserted gold contacts first.
Inserting a Memory Stick card
Position the Memory Stick on its side with the
media’s label on the bottom and the gold contacts
on the top. Position the media so that the gold
contacts are farthest from you. Please refer to
below image for proper media insertion.
2. Insert the Memory Stick into the slot gold
contacts first and the recessed notch on the
right. Gently push the Memory Stick in all the
way until the card is fixed in place.
IMPORTANT: Notice the rounded corner of the
Memory Stick card and be careful not to insert the
Memory Stick in the wrong direction. To insert
properly, be sure that the card is positioned so
that the rounded corner is facing right with the
gold contacts upwards.
Reading Cards & Playing control
After switching to card reader working status,
the card reader will read cards as per following
sequence: CF I/II —> SD/SM/MMC/MS. If there is a
CF card in CF slot, it won’t read SD/SM/MMC/MS.
If there are no cards, it will show NO CARD.
For playing control, pleases refer to the
JPEG Photo CD/MPEG4/MP3 playing section
Removing Cards
The cards can only be removed when the card
reader is at non-working status and the cards’
indicator must be off, otherwise the reader or the
cards may be damaged, or data on the cards may
be lost or corrupted.
To remove cards, you should pull the card gently
and horizontally out of the slot by your hand
directly.
Remark: The supported range & capacity for the
folders & files in the card
1. This card reader can support 2 levels of folders
in the card.
2. The total folders number can be supported in
the card is no more than 10. (Max 5 folders
can be supported under directory)
3. Only support 100 files for each folder or
support 100 files for each card with no folder
in it.
4. A folder including different format files will not
be supported.
5. JPEG file larger than 1 MB may not be displayed
normally.
SETUP
Once the initial settings have been completed, the
player can be operated under the same conditions.
These settings will be retained in the memory even
after turning off the power until the settings are
changed. The initial language is set to English.
Operation:
1. Press STOP button first then press SETUP
button to enter setup interface as followed
during the stop status. You can setup
Language, Video, Audio, More Audio and
Parental.
2. Press direction up and down button to choose
the desired section and OK button to enter
submenu or press SETUP to quit the setup
screen. Followed is the language setup screen
for your reference where you can set OSD
menu, Subtitle Language, Audio Language, DVD
Menu.
Please refer to SHEET 1 for the detailed items and
parameters in all setup interfaces.
