1. Open the battery cover.
2. Insert the supplied batteries according to the direction indicated in the battery compartment.
When inserting or removing the batteries, push them towards the battery terminals.
3. Close the cover.
Note:
• Remove the batteries if the remote

Batteries left in the unit may leak an

• Replace all old batteries with new ones at

Follow these steps to connect the system. It is

Remove the aerial cable plug from your TV set and insert
it
into the aerial input socket at the back of the unit.

Connect the supplied aerial cable from the RF output
socket on the back of this unit to the aerial input socket
on the TV. The RF output socket passes the signal throug

from the aerial input socket.

antenna, Channel Search will not be able to pre
set
channel into memory. If this occurs, check

cable/antenna connection and plug in the unit again.
2. Connect the unit ’ spower plug to an 230-240V/50Hz
electrical outlet.
3. Press STANDBY on the front panel or POWER
on the
remote control. If you are setting up this unit for the
first time, please:
ò Turn on your TV.
ò Amessage screen will appear. Please follow the
instructions to do the first-time setup.
ò
After you have pressed the Enter button,
the
system will automatically scan and set the tuner
channels. (This may take several minutes.)

Standby
Mode
ò The system is always in Standby mode when the AC
power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet.
ò In Standby mode, the clock is shown on the front panel
display and standby indicator light is illuminated.
ò In power on mode, the system status is shown on
the
front panel display and the standby indicator light is
turned off.
4. The “ Set your language” message will automatically
appear on your TV/monitor. Use the up/down arrow
buttons to select your language, then press Enter to
confirm.
