SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Carefully read this manual before using this equipment. Make sure that you know how these TEVION
Cordless Headphones function and how to operate them. Maintain the equipment in accordance with the
instructions to ensure that it functions properly. Keep this manual with the equipment. If the equipment
is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it. The safety instructions,
by themselves, do not eliminate danger completely, and proper accident prevention measures must
always be used.
BEFORE INITIAL USE
Remove all packaging. For safety do not immerse any part of the cordless headphone or power adaptor
in water or any other liquid. Check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Do not use if
the equipment is damaged in any way or if the adaptor or supply cord is damaged. Contact the service
details at the beginning of this manual for assistance.
OPERATION
This TEVION Cordless Stereo Headphone System has been designed for general home use only. It is
not designed for commercial or industrial use. Simply connect the transmitter to any audio device such
as a DVD Player, CD Player, Television Receiver, VCR or Hi-Fi System.
Initial Set-Up
Unwind the AC power pack lead fully and plug the power pack into a suitable electrical wall socket,
230-240V ~ AC.
Plug the AC power pack DC output supply plug into the DC input socket on the rear of the transmitter
(Charging Cradle).
Remove the ear cushion holder on the receiver headphones by carefully pulling directly outwards from
the headset to access the battery compartment. See Fig: 1.1 on the opposite page for the diagram. This
cover simply clips into the headset by way of four clips. Install one rechargeable LR03/AAA battery
into each headphone unit; taking note that only rechargeable batteries may be used and also taking note
of the battery installation instruction details inside. Refit the cushion cover by carefully clipping back
into place.

Fig: 1.1
Switch the power ON at the wall. Set the headphones to the ‘OFF’ position (Right Headset ‘POWER’ Button)
while charging. Place the Cordless Headphones onto the Charging Cradle, making sure that the charging contacts
on the Charging Cradle and Cordless Headphones align correctly. The ‘GREEN’ charge lamp will glow
indicating that the batteries are being charged. Leave on charge for 24 hours before initial use to ensure batteries
are at full charge. When charging is complete, your Cordless Headphones are ready for use.
Connect the 3.5mm to 3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Connection Cable (long lead) into a suitable audio output jack
(use one of the supplied adaptors if required). Ensure that the transmitter (Charging Cradle) has an input signal
from the audio source. The red ‘POWER’ light will glow when the power is connected and a suitable audio signal
is received. If the red ‘POWER’ light does not illuminate, ensure that the transmitter is receiving a signal from the
audio source (TV, Stereo, etc.).
Use
Turn the audio source (e.g. TV, Stereo, etc.) ‘ON’.
Remove the Cordless Headphones from the Charging Cradle. Turn the headset ‘ON’ by pressing the ‘POWER’
button located on the right headset. The red ‘ON’ indicator will glow. Adjust the volume level to a low level at
first on the audio source equipment (TV, Stereo, etc.). Place the Cordless Headphones carefully on your head over
the ears. Adjust the volume on the Cordless Headphones by adjusting the volume dial on the rear of the left
headset. If you cannot receive the sound system press the ‘AUTO SCAN’ button located on the left headset to
tune to the input signal to the desired channel. If you fail to receive the sound source change the channel setting
on the rear of the Transmitter (Charging Cradle) and try again.
NOTE: To protect the transmitter and save power, the transmitter automatically switches OFF after approximately
one minute should the signal source fail.
Recharging
When you have finished listening, turn the Cordless Headphones off using the ‘POWER’ button located on the
right headset. Place the Cordless Headphones back onto the Charging Cradle to recharge the batteries before
storing or reuse. Make sure that the ‘GREEN’ charge lamp is illuminated.
