extended period of time, it is advisable to

CONNECTION:
INPUT/OUTPUT JACK AS FOLLOWS: ANT Input, S-VIDEO Input, PC (VGA) Input,

CONNECT POWER: Connect the 12Vpower adapter to the power input of the LCD TV,

Remote Controller
Using the Remote Control
Unless stated otherwise, the remote control
can operate all the features of the LCD TV.
Always point the remote control directly at
the remote sensor on the front of the LCD TV.
Battery Installation
Remove the battery compartment lid on the
rear of the remote control by sliding the lid
down, then off. Put two AAA batteries inside
the battery compartment with their + and -
ends aligned as indicated.
Do not mix old and new batteries or different
types of batteries Replace the battery com-
partment lid. Slide the lid until you hear it
click into place.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Turn on the LCD TV
1.Connect the 12Vpower adapter to the power input of the LCD TV, and then connect the
other end to a suitable 230-240V~ 50Hz power supply socket.
2.Press the POWER button to turn the LCD TV on or off.
3.When the power is on, press the SOURCE or AV(remote) button to select the input mode
you desire.

MAIN MENU
Press the MENU button to enter the main menu. When in the main menu, press the
VOL + or VOL - buttons to change between the Sound, Picture, Ch. Edit, Set Up and
Tuner Menu’s. You can also access the Sound, Picture, Ch. Edit and Tuner Menu’s
directly through the Red, Green, Yellow and Blue coloured buttons on your remote
control.
Use the CH + or CH - buttons to enter into a menu and move up or down to scroll through
the settings of the selected menu. Once the setting that you would like to adjust is
highlighted, use the VOL + or VOL - to adjust the setting.
Press the MENU button again to go back to the main menu. Press this button once more to
exit the main menu completely.
If no button is pressed for 10 seconds when in the menu mode, the menu will exit
automatically.

1. Volume: Adjust the volume.
2. Balance: Adjust the balance of sound between left and right speakers.
3. Bass: Adjust the bass volume.
4. Treble: Adjust the treble volume.
5. AVL: Select the Auto Volume Level ON or OFF.
6. Equalizer: Adjust the equalizer levels (100Hz, 300Hz, 1K, 3K, 8K).
7. Preset: Select from the preset Sound Modes: personal, voice, music or theatre.

Use the CH+, CH-, VOL+ and VOL- buttons to highlight the Channel that you would like
to Edit. Press the GREEN button to Move the channel to another position. Press the RED
button to Delete the channel.

If you will be using any of the Input Sources: HD (Y Pb Pr) / PC (VGA) /
S-VIDEO / AV, please also adjust the SOUND MENU, PICTURE MENU &
SET UP MENU for the Input Sources that you will be using.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Show indicator: Set the Show Indicator function to On or OFF.
2. Language: Select the On Screen Display (OSD) language.
3. Child lock: Set the child lock control to ON or OFF.
4. Timers: Select and set the timer modes.
5. Teletext lang.: Select the Teletext language. The default language is Pan European.
6. Teletext E/W: Select the Teletext locale (Not Applicable for Australasia).
7. RT Clock: Adjust the clock or time.
1. Program nr.: Use the VOL+/- buttons to select the channel number.
2. Program name: Use the CH+/- buttons to select the character, Use the VOL+/-
buttons to change the position.
3. Colour system: Select the correct Colour System (PAL for Australia).
4. Sound system: Select the correct Sound System (BG for Australia).
5. Auto store: Use the VOL+/- buttons to begin Auto Tuning.
6. Frequency: Use the VOL+/- buttons to tune the frequency manually.
7. AFC: Set the AFC function to ON or OFF.
8. Skip: Set the Channel Skip function to ON or OFF.
9. Lock: Set the Lock function to ON or OFF.
Note: The default Child Lock password is 0000, if you change the password you will be
required to enter a new 4-digit number (this will be your new password).

PC (VGA) MODE - SUPPORTED RESOLUTION AND FREQUENCY
The below table denotes the Screen Resolutions and Frequencies supported by this
product when in the PC Mode. Ensure your PC (or other device) operates to one of the
below Resolutions and Vertical Frequencies.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
TELETEXT
Teletext features may vary depending on the Broadcasting in your area. Teletext is only
available if the channel selected is transmitting Teletext. When in Teletext mode, the
volume may still be altered by pressing the VOL+/VOL- or MUTE buttons.
TXT Button
Press the TXT button to enter the Teletext mode. Press the TXT button again to turn the TV
back to TV model
Teletext Language
The Teletext Language is set to Pan European. This is the default setting. Pan European is
the equivalent of English.
Page Selection
Pages can be selected in the following ways:
- By entering the page number, using 0-9 button on the remote control.
- By pressing one of the coloured buttons (red, green, yellow or blue), which corresponds to
a page listed at the bottom of the Teletext screen. These pages will be in the same colours
as these four buttons (Note: this function may not always be available).
Size Button
Press Size to change the display size: normal => large top => large bottom =>normal.
Reveal Button
Press Reveal to reveal hidden words e.g. Quiz page answers. Press again to hide.
Hold Button
Press Hold to pause the Teletext page when viewing multi-page information. Press again to
return to the automatic page updates.
Index Button
Press Index to return to the main index page.
Depending on the way that the information is transmitted, this may have to be pressed more
than once to return to the main index page.
Subpage Button
When Teletext information exceeds more than one page, it may take some time for the
automatic changing of the sub pages to reach the sub page you require.
It is possible to enter your required sub page and continue watching the normal programme
until the correct sub page is found.
Select the required page number using the 0-9 buttons.
Press the Subpage button. “Page number/----” will be displayed at the bottom-right of the
screen. Enter the desired sub page number before the “page number/----” disappears. To
select sub page 6, enter 0, 0, 0 and 6 using the numerical buttons on the remote control.
If the top of the page indicates that sub pages are being transmitted yet the page does not
change, then the number at the top of the page is there to indicate that the broadcaster has
updated the page’s contents and that there are no longer any sub pages.
Mix Button
Press Mix to enter the Teletext mode where both the TV picture and text pages are visible.
Cancel Button
Press Cancel to remove the Teletext information from the screen.

NICAM
Press the NICAM button to set the TV’s sound to Nicam Stereo.
This setting is usually set to Stereo to provide the best reproduction. If reception
deteriorates or if the service is not available then switch to Mono.
Mono (M1) and (M2) can also be selected if a mono signal is being transmitted.
GLOSSARY
AVL: Auto Volume Level. Minimises sudden changes in TV volume when commercials
are transmitted.
Noise Reduction: Helps to reduce picture noise to give a clearer, crisper picture.
Dynamic Skin Tone: Displays more realistic and even skin tones.
White Tone: Allows you to adjust the colour temperature.
Hue: Can only be adjusted for the NTSC colour system. Adjusts the pictures hue between
a green and magenta tint.
Show Indicator: Shows the program number on the screen.
Child Lock: Ensures the user must enter a password to watch adult content.
AFC: Automatic Frequency Control. Automatically fine tunes the set for the best
possible picture.
ADV. SKIP: Turns the TV back to the original channel after a set period of time. This button
can be used to skip an advert break when watching a program.
Press the ADV. SKIP button on the remote control for the length of time you would like to
skip. For example, If you would like to automatically return back to the channel you are
currently watching in 4 minutes, press the ADV. SKIP button 4 times. The words
“Commercial Skip 4” will appear on the screen. You can then change the channel, or watch
from an AV source, and after 4 minutes the TV will switch back to the original channel that
you were viewing.
To remove this function, press the ADV. SKIP button until “Commercial Skip Off” is
displayed on the TV.
