de smering en het onderhoud.
Bepalingen voor de preventie van ongevallen, alle andere algemeen erkende bepalingen van toepassing op

mogen nooit worden overschreden.
Het is mogelijk dat door eventueel eigenmachtig aan de machine uitgevoerde modificaties, de fabrikant wordt

This machine is designed solely for use in customary grass cutting operations. Use in any other way is consid-
ered as contrary to the intended use. Compliance with and strict adherence to the conditions of operation,
service and repair as specified by the manufacturer, also constitute essential elements of the intended use.
Before attempting to operate this machine, ALL operators MUST read through this manual and make them-
selves thoroughly conversant with Safety Instructions, controls, lubrication and maintenance.
Accident prevention regulations, all other generally recognized regulations on safety and occupational medicine,
and all road traffic regulations shall be observed at all times.
Any arbitrary modifications carried out on this machine may relieve the manufacturer of liability for any resulting
damage or injury.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Ensure that the instructions in this book are read and
fully understood.
No person should be allowed to operate this machine
unless they are fully acquainted with all the controls
and the safety procedures. Never allow children or
people unfamiliar with these instructions to use
this machine. Local regulations may restrict the age
of the operator.
SAFETY SIGNS
It is essential all safety labels are kept legible, if they
are missing or illegible they must be replaced. If any
part of the machine is replaced and it originally
carried a safety label, a new label must be affixed to
the replacement part. New safety labels are
obtainable from Ransomes dealers.
STARTING THE ENGINE
Before starting the engine check that the brakes are
applied, drives are in neutral, guards are in position
and intact, and bystanders are clear of the machine.
Do not run the engine in a building without adequate
ventilation.
DRIVING THE MACHINE
Before moving the machine, check to ensure that all
parts are in good working order, paying particular
attention to brakes, tyres, steering and the security of
cutting blades. Replace faulty silencers, mow only in
daylight or good artificial light
Always observe the Highway Code both on and off
the roads. Keep alert and aware at all times. Watch
out for traffic when crossing or near roadways. Stop
the blades rotating before crossing surfaces other
than grass.
Remember that some people are deaf or blind and
that children and animals can be unpredictable.
Keep travelling speeds low enough for an emergency
stop to be effective and safe at all times, in any
conditions.
Remove or avoid obstructions in the area to be cut,
thus reducing the possibility of injury to yourself and/
or bystanders.
When reversing, take special care to ensure that the
area behind is clear of obstructions and/or
bystanders. DO NOT carry passengers.
Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible
for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or
their property.
When the machine is to be parked, stored or left
unattended, lower the cutting means unless the
transport locks are being used.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
BEDIENINGSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Zorg ervoor dat alle machinebedieners de
voorschriften in dit boek lezen en volledig begrijpen.
Machinebedieners mogen deze machine pas
bedienen wanneer ze alle bedieningsinrichtingen en
veiligheidsprocedures kennen. Nooit kinderen of
mensen die niet bekend zijn met deze instructies,
deze machine laten gebruiken. Het is mogelijk dat
door plaatselijke wettelijke bepalingen wordt gesteld
dat personen onder een bepaalde leeftijd, deze
machine niet mogen gebruiken.
VEILIGHEIDSINDICATIES
Het is essentieel dat alle veiligheidsetiketten goed
leesbaar blijven. Als dergelijke etiketten niet
aanwezig zijn, of onleesbaar worden, dan moeten die
altijd worden vervangen. Als een onderdeel van de
machine wordt vervangen, waarop oorspronkelijk een
veiligheidsetiket was aangebracht, een dergelijk
etiket ook altijd weer aanbrengen op het nieuwe
onderdeel. Nieuwe veiligheidsetiketten kunnen
worden aangevraagd bij de Afdeling Onderdelen van
Ransomes (Ransomes Spare Parts Department).
DE MOTOR STARTEN
Controleer, voordat de motor wordt gestart, of de
remmen zijn aangehaald, de aandrijfmechanismen in
de neutrale stand staan, de beveiligingsmiddelen zijn
aangebracht en intact zijn en er geen omstanders in
de buurt van de machine staan. Start de motor niet in
een gebouw zonder goede ventilatie.
DE MACHINE BESTUREN
Controleer, voordat de machine wordt verplaatst, of
alle onderdelen goed functioneren. Let daarbij vooral
op de remmen, de banden, de stuurinrichting en de
beveiliging van snijcilinders. Defecte dempers
vervangen. Uitsluitend maaien bij daglicht of als goed
kunstlicht beschikbaar is.
Neem altijd de verkeersvoorschriften in acht, zowel
op openbare wegen als daarbuiten. Blijf altijd alert.
In de buurt van wegen of gedurende het oversteken
van wegen, altijd letten op andere weggebruikers.
Voordat over andere oppervlakken dan gras wordt
gereden, de maaibladen altijd stilzetten.
Denk eraan dat sommige mensen doof of blind
kunnen zijn en dat kinderen en dieren
onvoorspelbaar kunnen reageren. Houd een
rijsnelheid aan die laag genoeg is om te allen tijde en
onder alle omstandigheden een effectieve en veilige
noodstop te kunnen maken.

Ce manuel doit être lu et parfaitement compris.
Aucune personne ne connaîssant parfaitement les
commandes et les consignes de sécurité ne doit être
autorisée à conduire la machine. N’autorisez jamais
l’utilisation de cette machine par des enfants ou par
des personnes n’ayant pas bien pris connaissance
de ces instructions. Il se peut que des
réglementations locales limitent l’âge de l’opérateur.
ETIQUETTES DE SECURITE
Il est essentiel que les étiquettes de sécurité soient
lisibles. Si tel n’est pas le cas ou si certaines
étiquettes manquent, celles-ci doivent être
remplacées. Si une pièce de la machine est
remplacée et qu’elle portait originellement une
étiquette de sécurité, une étiquette neuve doit être
installée sur la pièce de rechange. Vous pouvez
vous procurez des étiquettes de sécurité de
rechange auprès du Service de Pièces Détachées
de Ransomes.
MISE EN ROUTE DU MOTEUR
Avant de mettre le moteur en route vérifier que tous
les freins sont mis, que les entraînements sont au
neutre, que les protections sont en place et en état,
bon que personne ne se trouve à proximité de la
machine. Ne pas faire tourner le moteur dans un
local fermé sans ventilation appropriée.
CONDUITE DE LA MACHINE
Avant d'utiliser la machine, vérifier que toutes les
pièces sont en don état en faisant particulièrement
attention aux freins, aux pneus, à la direction et aux
sécurités. Remplacez les silencieux défectueux, et
ne tondez que lorsqu’il fait jour ou sous une lumière
artificielle adéquate.
Respecter toujours les règles du Code de la Route
aussi bien sur que hors route. Etre toujours vigilant.
Faites attention à la circulation lorsque vous
traversez des routes ou lorsque vous vous en
approchez.
Stoppez la rotation des lames avant de traverser des
surfaces non herbues.
Faire très attention aux passants. Ne jamais
conduire trop vite pour qu'un arrêt d'urgence reste
toujours possible. Avant de tondre, enlever du
terrain les objets pouvant se transformer en
projectile et vous blesser ou blesser des passants.
Faire particuliérement attention en marche arrière.

While mowing, always wear substantial footwear and
long trousers. Do not operate the equipment when
barefoot or wearing open sandals.
Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or
deterioration. After striking a foreign object.
Inspect. the lawnmower for damage and make
repairs before restarting and operating the
equipment.
If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally, check
immediately.
TRANSPORTING
Ensure that the cutting units are securely fastened in
the transport position. Do not transport with cutting
mechanism rotating.
Drive the machine with due consideration of road
and surface conditions, inclines and local
undulations.
Sudden decelerating or braking can cause the rear
wheels to lift.
Remember that the stability of the rear of the
machine is reduced as the fuel is used.
IMPORTANT: Transport speed is for highway
use only. Never select transport speed or two
wheel drive on grass areas or uneven or
unsurfaced roads or tracks.
LEAVING THE DRIVING POSITION
Park the machine on level ground. Before leaving
the driving position, stop the engine and make sure
all moving parts are stationary. Apply brakes and
disengage all drives. Remove the starter key.
SLOPES
TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN WORKING ON
SLOPES
Local undulations and sinkage will change the
general slope. Avoid ground conditions which can
cause the machine to slide. Keep machine speeds
low on slopes and during tight turns.
Sudden decelerating or braking can cause the rear
wheels to lift. Remember there is no such thing as a
“safe” slope. Travel on grass slopes requires
particular care.
DO NOT USE ON SLOPES GREATER THAN 15°
The slope 15° was calculated using static
stability measurements according to the
requirements of EN 836.
IMPORTANT: When working on any slope set the
weight transfer to its maximum (+) setting.

Verwijder of vermijd obstakels in het gebied dat
wordt gemaaid, om te voorkomen dat uzelf en/of
omstanders letsel oplopen. Let extra goed op
obstakels en/of omstanders wanneer de machine
achteruitrijdt. NOOIT passagiers meevoeren.
Nooit vergeten dat de bediener of gebruiker
verantwoordelijk blijft voor ongevallen of risico’s
waaraan andere personen of hun eigendommen,
kunnen worden blootgesteld. Als de machine wordt
geparkeerd, opgeslagen of als die onbewaakt wordt
achtergelaten, de maai-eenheid altijd laten zakken
tenzij de transport-vergrendeling wordt gebruikt.
Gedurende het maaien, altijd stevig schoeisel en
een lange pantalon dragen. De uitrusting nooit op
blote voeten bedienen. Ook nooit open sandalen
dragen.
De grasopvangbak regelmatig controleren. Altijd
letten op tekenen die wijzen op slijtage of
beschadiging. Als een voorwerp wordt geraakt, altijd
een controle uitvoeren. De maaimachine controleren
op tekenen die wijzen op beschadiging. Vóór het
starten of bedienen van de machine altijd eerst de
noodzakelijke reparaties uitvoeren. Als de machine
zeer sterk gaat trillen, altijd onmiddellijk controleren.
DE MACHINE VERVOEREN
Zorg ervoor dat de maaieenheden stevig zijn
verankerd in de transportstand. Vervoer de machine
niet met een draaiende maai-inrichting. Let bij het
vervoer van de machine op de conditie van het
wegdek, hellingen en plaatselijke oneffenheden.
Door plotseling snelheid te verminderen of te
remmen kunnen de achterwielen omhoog komen.
Houd er rekening mee dat de achterkant van de
machine minder stabiel wordt naarmate er brandstof
wordt verbruikt.
BELANGRIJK: de transportsnelheid is alleen
bedoeld voor vervoer op autowegen. Gebruik de
transportsnelheid of tweewielaandrijving nooit
op grasgrond of oneffen of onverharde wegen of
paden.
DE BESTUURDERSPLAATS VERLATEN
Parkeer de machine op een vlakke ondergrond.
Stop de motor en controleer of alle bewegende
delen stationair zijn voordat u de bestuurdersplaats
verlaat. Zet de remmen vast en schakel alle
aandrijfmechanismen uit. Verwijder de
contactsleutel.
HELLINGEN

Plaatselijke oneffenheden en verzakkingen kunnen
de algemene hellingshoek veranderen.
N’oubliez jamais que l’opérateur ou l’utilisateur est
responsable des accidents dont peuvent être
victimes d’autres personnes ou leurs biens, ainsi que
des risques auxquels ces personnes ou leurs biens
peuvent être exposés. Lorsque la machine doit être
garée, entreposée ou laissée sans surveillance,
abaissez les dispositifs de coupe, sauf si les
blocages de transport sont utilisés. Lorsque vous
tondez, portez toujours des chaussures solides et un
pantalon long. N’utilisez pas le matériel alors que
vous vous trouvez pieds nus ou en sandales
ouvertes. Vérifiez souvent le dispositif de collecte
des déchets d’herbe pour vous assurer qu’il n’est ni
usé ni endommagé. Si vous heurtez un objet qui
n’aurait pas dû se trouver sur la pelouse, examinez
la tondeuse pour vous assurer qu’elle n’est pas
endommagée, et réparez tous les dégâts éventuels
avant de redémarrer et d’utiliser le matériel. Si la
machine se met à vibrer excessivement, vérifiez
immédiatement quelle en est la cause.
TRANSPORT
Vérifier que les éléments de coupe sont bien
verrouillés. Ne jamais se déplacer avec les cylindres
de coupe en rotation.
Conduire en tenant toujours compte des conditions
de surface et de déclivité.
Une décélération ou freinage brusques peuvent faire
lever les roues arrière.
Se souvenir que lorsque le réservoir de carburant est
vide la stabilité de la machine diminue.
IMPORTANT: la vitesse de transport ne
s'applique qu'à la route. Ne jamais sélectionner
la vitesse de transport ou les 2 roues motrices
pour conduire sur le gazon ou sur des routes ou
des pistes accidentées.
AVANT DE QUITTER LE POSTE DE CONDUITE
Mettre la machine sur un sol plat. Arrêter le moteur
et vérifier que tous les organes mobiles sont bien
arrêtés. Mettre les freins et désengager tous les
entraînements. Enlever la clé de contact.
PENTES
FAIRE PARTICULIEREMENT ATTENTION EN
TRAVAILLANT SUR DES PENTES. Les déclivités
locales changent la pente générale. Eviter les
conditions qui peuvent amener la machine à glisser.
Maintenez la machine aux vitesses lentes sur les
pentes et lors de virages serrés.
Une décélération ou un freinage brusques peuvent
faire lever les roues arrière. Souvenez-vous qu’une
pente «sans risque» n’existe pas.
Vous devez être particulièrement prudent lorsque
vous vous déplacez sur des pentes herbues.

BLOCKED CUTTING UNIT
Stop the engine and make sure all moving parts are
stationary. Apply brakes and disengage all drives.
Release blockages with care. Keep all parts of the
body away from the cutting edge. Beware of energy
in the drive which can cause rotation when the
blockage is released.
Keep other people away from the cutting units as
rotation of one blade can cause the others to rotate.
ADJUSTMENTS, LUBRICATION AND
MAINTENANCE
Stop the engine and make sure all moving parts are
stationary. Apply brakes and disengage all drives.
Read all the appropriate servicing instructions. Use
only the replacement parts supplied by the original
manufacturer.
When adjusting the cutting cylinders take care not to
get hands and feet trapped when rotating cylinders.
Make sure that other people are not touching any
cutting units, as rotation of one blade can cause the
others to rotate.
To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer
and battery compartments free of grass, leaves or
excessive grease.
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
When working underneath lifted parts or machines,
make sure adequate support Is provided.
Do not dismantle the machine without releasing or
restraining forces which can cause parts to move
suddenly.
Do not alter engine speed above maximum quoted in
Engine Specification. Do not change the engine
governor settings or overspeed the engine.
Operating the engine at excessive speed may
increase the hazard of personal injury.
When refuelling, STOP THE ENGINE, DO NOT
SMOKE. Add fuel before starting the engine, never
add fuel while the engine is running. Use a funnel
when pouring fuel from a can into the tank. Do not fill
the fuel tank beyond the bottom of the filler neck.
Replace all fuel tank and container caps securely.
Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this
purpose. Refuel outdoors only and do not smoke
while refuelling.
If petrol is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine
but move the machine away from the area of spillage
and avoid creating any source of ignition until petrol
vapours have dissipated. Allow the engine to cool
before storing in any enclosure. Never store the
equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building
where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. If
the fuel tank has to be drained, this should be done
outdoors. Do not spill fuel onto hot components.
When servicing batteries, DO NOT SMOKE, and
keep naked lights away. Do not place any metal
objects across the terminals.

bestaat. Op met gras begroeide hellingen, altijd zeer
voorzichtig zijn. Er altijd voor zorgen dat de machine
niet kan omslaan.
GEBRUIK DEZEMACHINE NIET OP HELLINGEN
GROTER DAN 15° GRADEN
Belangrijk: Op hellingen, de gewichtsdistributie
altijd op de maximum (+) instelling zetten.
BLOKKERING VAN DE MAAIEENHEID
De motor afzetten en controleren of alle bewegende

aanzetten en alle aandrijvingen loskoppelen.
Verwijder de obstructie zeer voorzichtig. Zorg ervoor
dat geen enkel lichaamsdeel in contact kan komen
met de snijkant. Pas op voor eventuele
achtergebleven drijfkracht, waardoor de snijcilinder
kan gaan draaien wanneer de obstructie is
verwijderd.
Houd iedereen uit de buurt van de maaieenheden.
Als een van de snijcilinders gaat draaien, kunnen de
andere blad namelijk gaan meedraaien.
AFSTELLING, SMERING EN ONDERHOUD
De motor afzetten en controleren of alle bewegende
onderdelen tot stilstand zijn gekomen. De remmen
aanzetten en alle aandrijvingen loskoppelen.
Lees alle bijbehorende onderhoudsvoorschriften.
Gebruik alleen vervangingsdelen die door de
fabrikant van de machine worden geleverd.
Let bij de afstelling van de blad op dat de handen en
voeten geen letsel oplopen door draaiende cilinders.
Zorg ervoor dat niemand in contact kan komen met
de maaieenheden. Als een van de blad gaat draaien,
kunnen de andere cilinders namelijk gaan
meedraaien. Teneinde het gevaar van brand zoveel
mogelijk te reduceren, er altijd voor zorgen dat het
motorcompartiment, de accukast en de demper vrij
zijn van gras, bladeren of te grote hoeveelheden vet.
Versleten of beschadigde onderdelen uit
veiligheidsoogpunt altijd vervangen.
Bij werkzaamheden onder de machine of machine-
onderdelen moet de machine goed zijn verankerd.
Haal de machine pas uit elkaar wanneer alle onder
spanning staande onderdelen zijn losgemaakt
(bijvoorbeeld de voorgespannen torsieveren op de
hefarmen van de maaieenheden) en bewegende
onderdelen zijn ingeklemd.

BOURRAGE
Stoppez le moteur et assurez-vous que toutes les

Eloigner toutes les parties du corps des lames.
Faire attention à l'énergie résiduelle qui peut
provoquer la rotation quand le bourrage est enlevé.
Eloigner toute personne des unités de coupe car la
rotation d'un lame peut entraîner la rotation des
autres.
REGLAGES, LUBRIFICATION ET ENTRETIEN
Stoppez le moteur et assurez-vous que toutes les
pièces mobiles se sont immobilisées. Serrez les
freins et débrayez tous les entraînements.
Lire les consignes appropriées. N'utiliser que des
pièces d'origine.
Lors du réglage des lames de coupe faire attention
que les mains ou les pieds ne soient pas happés lors
de la rotation des lames.
Vérifier que personne ne touche les cylindres de
coupe car la rotation d'un lame peut entraîner la
rotation des autres. Pour réduire le risque
d’incendie, ne laissez ni déchets d’herbe, ni feuilles,
ni excès de graisse s’accumuler sur le moteur, le
silencieux ou la batterie. Pour des raisons de
sécurité, remplacez les pièces usées ou
endommagées. Pour travailler sur la machine en
élévation, vérifier qu'elle est sur un support stable.
Ne pas démonter la machine sans avoir auparavant
enlevé ou réduit les tensions résiduelles qui peuvent
provoquer le mouvement des pièces,
Ne pas modifier la vitesse du moteur au-delà de la
vitesse maximale indiquée dans les caractéristiques
moteur. Ne modifiez pas les réglages du régulateur
du moteur et n’emballez pas le moteur. En faisant
tourner le moteur à une vitesse excessive, vous
pourriez risquer davantage de vous blesser.
Pour faire le plein de carburant, ARRETER LE
MOTEUR, NE PAS FUMER. Remplissez toujours le
réservoir de carburant AVANT de démarrer le
moteur. Ne faites jamais de remplissage d’appoint
alors que le moteur tourne. Le remplissage du
réservoir de carburant ne doit pas dépasser le fond
du tube de remplissage.

Let erop dat het voorgeschreven maximumtoerental
van de motor niet wordt overschreden (zie de
motorspecificatie). De instellingen van de
toerentalbegrenzer van de motor nooit wijzigen. Het
motortoerental ook nooit te hoog opvoeren. Als te
hoge toerentallen worden gebruikt, kan dit leiden tot
persoonlijk letsel.
ZET DE MOTOR AF EN ROOK NIET tijdens het
tanken. Eerst bijtanken en dan pas de motor starten.
Nooit bijtanken als de motor loopt. Gebruik een
trechter om brandstof uit een jerrycan in de tank te
gieten. De brandstoftank nooit vullen tot voorbij de
onderkant van de vulhals. De brandstoftank en het
benzineblik altijd goed afsluiten. Brandstof altijd
bewaren in containers die speciaal voor dit doel zijn
ontworpen. Uitsluitend bijtanken in de buitenlucht.
Gedurende het bijtanken nooit roken. Als benzine
wordt gemorst, nooit trachten om de motor te
starten. De machine eerst verplaatsen tot uit de
buurt van de gemorste benzine. Er ook altijd voor
zorgen dat de benzinedampen niet kunnen
ontbranden. De motor eerst af laten koelen en de
machine dan pas parkeren in een afgesloten
ruimte.Mors geen brandstof op hete onderdelen. De
machine nooit in een gebouw parkeren met benzine
in de tank, als brandstofdampen in contact kunnen
komen met een niet-afgeschermde vlam of vonken.
Als de brandstoftank moet worden afgetapt, dan
dient dit in de buitenlucht te geschieden.
ROOK NIET tijdens onderhoudswerkzaamheden aan
de accu en gebruik geen open vuur. Leg geen
metalen objecten op de accuklemmen.
WAARSCHUWING:
Onder druk ontsnappende hydraulische vloeistof
kan door de huid dringen en ernstige
verwondingen veroorzaken. Altijd onmiddellijk
medische hulp ingeroepen.
WAARSCHUWING:
Accu’s produceren explosieve gassen en
bevatten bijtende zuren. Ook wordt hierdoor
elektriciteit geleverd die sterk genoeg is om
ernstige brandwonden te veroorzaken.
Remettez soigneusement en place tous les
bouchons du réservoir et des récipients de
carburant. Rangez le carburant dans des récipients
spécialement prévus à cet effet. Le remplissage de
carburant doit toujours se faire à l’extérieur. Ne

Lorsqu’il reste de l’essence dans le réservoir,
n’entreposez jamais le matériel dans un bâtiment où
les vapeurs risquent d’entrer en contact avec une
flamme ou une étincelle nue. S’il s’avère nécessaire
de vidanger le réservoir de carburant, faites-le
dehors. Ultiliser un entonnoir pour verser le
carburant d'un jerrican sans en répandre sur les
parties chaudes. Lors de l'entretien de la batterie,
NE PAS FUMER, et se tenir éloigné de flammes
nues. Ne mettre aucun objet métallique sur les
terminaux.
AVERTISSEMENT:
Le fluide hydraulique s’échappant sous pression

Druk onder op de tuimelschakelaar en bedien de
voetschakelaar zodat de maaieenheden beginnen te
draaien. Druk boven op de tuimelschakelaar om het
draaien van de maaieenheid te stoppen. (De
maaieenheden stoppen automatisch met draaien als
zij op worden getrokken.)
K - ZEKERINGEN
Ter beveiliging van het elektrische circuit zijn
meszekeringen gebruikt.
L - STUURWIELVERGRENDELING
Hiermee kan de stand van het stuurwiel worden
aangepast.
M - URENTELLER
Houdt het aantal uren bij dat de motor gelopen heeft.

C - TEMOIN DE PRESSION D’HUILE MOTEUR
Ce témoin s’allume en cas de pression d’huile
moteur trop faible.
D - TEMOIN DE TEMPERATURE D’HUILE
HYDRAULIQUE
Ce témoin s’allume en cas de température trop
haute de l’huile hydraulique.
E - COMMANDE DES GAZ
Poussez pour accélérer. Tirez pour ralentir.
F - TEMOIN D’ALTERNATEUR
Ce témoin s’allume lorsque la batterie ne se
recharge pas.
G - BOUGIE DE PRECHAUFFAGE
Ce témoin s’allume lorsque le contacteur d’allumage
est tourné vers la gauche, jusqu’à la position de
préchauffage de bougie à incandescence. Il s’éteint
automatiquement une fois que les bougies sont
préchauffées (5-10 sec.)
H - CONTACTEUR D’ALLUMAGE
Il existe quatre positions du contacteur d’allumage.
La position centrale correspond à l’arrêt du moteur
OFF). A fond, dans le sens des aiguilles d’une
montre correspond au démarrage du moteur
(START). Partiellement, dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre, jusqu’au déclenchement mais pas à
fond correspond à la mise sous tension du moteur
(ON) sans démarrage. Dans le sens contraire des
aiguilles d’une montre correspond à la mise en
marche du dispositif de préchauffage des bougies.
J - COMMUTATEURS D’UNITES DE COUPE
Appuyez sur la partie inférieure du commutateur à
bascule et utilisez la pédale pour faire démarrer les
unités de coupe. Appuyez sur la partie supérieure du
commutateur à bascule pour interrompre la rotation
des unités de coupe. (La rotation des unités de
coupe s’interrompt automatiquement lorsque celles-
ci sont levées.)
K - FUSIBLES
Le circuit électrique est protégé par des fusibles de
type à lamelle.
L - DISPOSITIF DE VERROUILLAGE DU VOLANT
Permet le réglage du volant.
M - COMPTEUR HORAIRE
Enregistre les heures de service du moteur.

A - FWD/REV PEDAL
Pushing down the top plate of the pedal moves
machine forward. Pushing down the rear plate
moves machine in reverse. Motions forward or
reverse are increased by more pressure. Pedal
automatically returns to the neutral position when
foot pressure is removed.
B - NEUTRAL LATCH
Has two functions:
1. The engine cannot be started when the Neutral
Latch is depressed.
2. The FWD/REV pedal will not work as described
if the Neutral Latch is not simultaneously de-
pressed.
C - SPEED LIMITER
Forward traveling speed is limited by the adjustable
Speed Limiter, shown in its least limiting position.
D - REEL TRANSPORT STOP (FRONT)
Depressing this pedal while lifting the cutting units
allows the cutting units to be raised for machine
transport.
E - BRAKES
Push this pedal forward until it locks to set parking
brake. Release parking brake by pushing the brake
pedal at the same time lever Y is pulled up.
K - UNIT START SWITCH
Operate this switch with the foot to start cutter decks
rotating. The PTO switch must be engaged first.
