underlowoverheadobjects,makesurethereissufcientclearancefortheROPS.

Yourtractorisdesignedandmadetopull,tocarry,andtopoweravarietyofmountedortowedequipment,although
withinsomephysicallimits.Theworkingspeedandperformancemaydependonanumberofvariousparameters,
suchasweatherandterrainconditions.Thoughthetractorisdesignedtoperformincombinationwithavarietyof
equipmentinmostcropsandconditions,theremaybeanumberofcombinationsofaboveparameters,forwhichthere
isseveredegradationofperformanceofthetractorand/oritsmountedortrailedequipment.Ifyounoticedegradation
ofperformance,contactyourdealerforassistance.Hemayhaveusefulinformationforimprovements,orakitmay
beavailabletoenhancetheperformance.

•Donotusethetractoronbrittlebridgeheadsandpoorbridgeoors.Theseconstructionsmaycollapseandcause
roll-overofthetractor.Alwayscheckouttheconditionandcarryingcapacityofbridgesandrampspriortoengage.
•Donotusethetractorwithoutwearingtheseatrestraintsystemduringactivitieswhereroll-overortip-overhazards
exist.TheRollOverProtectionStructure(ROPS)caborROPSstructurewillonlybefullyeffectivewhenthedriver
remainsattachedtohisseat.
•Donotuseequipmentmountedonthetractorwhichisnotcorrectlymatchingandrmlyxed.Suchequipmentmay
increasetheriskforroll-overandhitthetractorwhencomingloose.Ensurethatthedimensionsofthethree-point
linkageinterfaceofboththetractorandtheequipmentarematchingaccordingtothecategoriesdenedinISO
730.EnsurethatthedimensionsandspeedofthePowerTake-Off(PTO)shaftonthetractorsarematchingthose
oftheequipment.
•Donotusethetractorincombinationwithequipment,withouthavingconsultedthespecicoperator’smanual
providedwiththeequipment.Thetractorisauniversaltooltocarry,tow,anddriveavarietyofequipment.This
manualalonecannotprovideyouwithalltheinformationrequiredforthesafeoperationofthecombination.
•Donotusethetractorbeyonditslimitsofdynamicstability.Highspeed,abruptmaneuvers,andfastandshort
corneringwillincreasetheriskofroll-over.
•Donotusethetractorforpullingwork,incaseswhereyoudonotknowwhethertheloadwillyield,forinstance
whenpullingstumps.Thetractormayipoverwhenthestumpisnotyielding.
•Becautiousthatthecenterofgravityofthetractormayincreasewhenloadsonthefront-endloaderorthethree-
pointlinkageareraised.Intheseconditions,thetractormayroll-overearlierthanexpected.
•DonotstepdownfromthetractorwithoutshuttingdownthePTO,shiftingthetransmissiontoparkorneutraland
applyingtheparkbrake,unlesscontinuedPTOoperationisrequiredforsomeequipment,suchaspumpsorwood
chippers.Thelatterequipmentmayhaveanemergencystopdeviceontheequipmentitself,ashumanintervention
isneededduringoperation.Butotherequipment,engagedanddrivenbythetractorwillhavenomeanstostopthe
powertransmission,otherthanthePTOclutchofthetractor.
•Youshalltakethenecessaryprecautionstoalwaysbeawareofthepossiblepresenceofbystanders,certainlywhen
maneuveringinconnedareas,suchasthefarmyardandsheds.Keeppeopleawayfromthetractorduringwork;
askbystanderstoleavetheeld.Thereisnotonlytherisktobeoverrunbythetractor,butobjectsejectedbysome

equipmentmountedonthetractor,suchasarotarymower,maycauseharm.Stonesmaybethrownfurtherthan
themowedcrop.Paythenecessaryattentionwhileoperatingnexttopublicroadsorfootpaths.Thrownobjects
cangetprojectedoutsidetheeldandhitunprotectedpeoplelikebikersorpedestrians.Waittocuttheedgeofthe
eldtillitisclearofbystanders.
•Donotallowridersonthetractor;donotallowpeoplestandingontheaccesswayorsteptothecabwhenthe
tractorismoving.Yourviewtotheleftwillbeobstructedandariderriskstofallfromthetractorduringunforeseen
orabruptmovements.
•Alwaysstayclearfromimplementsoperatingareaandespeciallydonotstandbetweentractorandtrailedvehicle
eitherthree-pointlinkagewhenoperatingliftcontrols;ensurenobystandersareneartheseoperatingareas.
•Yourtractormaybeequippedwithanumberofsensorstocontrolsafetyfunctions.Trippingthesesensorswillresult
inasafeoperationmode.Donotattempttobypassanyfunctiononthetractor.Youwillbeexposedtoserious
hazards,andmoreover,thebehaviorofthetractormaybecomeunpredictable.
•Atractorhasonlyoneoperatorstationandisaonemanoperatedvehicle.Otherpeopleonoraroundthetractor
duringnormaloperationarenotallowed.
•Allpersonswhowillbeoperatingthismachineshallpossessavalidlocalvehicleoperatingpermitand/orother
applicablelocalageworkpermits.
•Themachineisdesignedandproducedexclusivelyforagriculturaluse.

Interferencemayariseasaresultofadd‐onequipmentthatmaynotnecessarilymeettherequiredstandards.As
suchinterferencecanresultinseriousmalfunctionoftheunitand/orcreateunsafesituations,youmustobserve
thefollowing:
•Themaximumpowerofemissionequipment(radio,telephones,etc.)mustnotexceedthelimitsimposedbythe
nationalauthoritiesofthecountrywhereyouusethemachine
•Theelectro‐magneticeldgeneratedbytheadd‐onsystemshouldnotexceed24V/matanytimeandatanylo-
cationintheproximityofelectroniccomponents
•Theadd‐onequipmentmustnotinterferewiththefunctioningoftheonboardelectronics
FailuretocomplywiththeseruleswillrendertheNEWHOLLANDwarrantynullandvoid.
