MAINTENANCE & CLEANING
When handling your PSAP, please be sure to hold it close to a surface (preferably soft surface) to
avoid damage if you drop it. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the PSAP. Do not use water, alcohol swabs
or other cleaning solvents as they will break down or damage your PSAP. When your PSAP is not in
use, keep your PSAP away from heat and moisture and store in a dry cool place.

WHISTLING
Whistling is a common problem for small PSAPs and is also known as “feedback.” It is caused by

NEW SOUNDS - NEW EXPECTATIONS!
You may notice sounds that you have never heard! Your brain will need
time to adapt to the new sounds, and the key to any success is
practice! We recommend that you wear your PSAP for a few hours on

Your PSAP includes four programmed settings to quickly adjust to different
environments. Press and hold the “Up Volume” button for two seconds to select the

To turn off the PSAP, simply
open the battery door.
TURN OFF
Place the PSAP behind your ear.
The amplifier should have an ear
dome attached.
Hold the bend of the amplifier wire
between your thumb and index
finger. The ear dome should point
towards the opening of the ear canal.
Gently push the ear dome into your ear canal
until the amplifier wire sits close to your head.
Place the ear grip in the ear so it follows the
contour of the ear.

Push firmly to ensure that the
