through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and
water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco or using the toilet. Only adults are
permitted to replace the cartridge.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: This pesticide is highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not apply directly to water.
Drift from treated areas may be hazardous to organisms in adjacent aquatic sites.
FIRST AID: If Inhaled, move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial
respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told
to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water
for 15–20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly
and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue
rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. Take container, label or product name and Pest
Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.

NOTICE: This product contains a lithium ion battery which is subject to certain transport restrictions. Inspect the product’s
packaging prior to transport. Do not transport this product if the component housing the battery is damaged.
When using rechargeable battery operated products, basic precautions should always be taken. To reduce the risk of
injury, close supervision is necessary when a product is used near children. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN
DO NOT put fingers, hands, metal or other foreign objects in the product.
Do not remove the battery from the equipment housing. Do not store with battery completely discharged for extended
periods of time. Batteries should be charged at least once every 3 months during storage. Battery should be discharged
and charged after being stored more than a year to maintain optimal battery capacity. The battery should be stored at
room temperature in a dry location and should not be placed, charged or stored in high-temperature locations. Exposure
of the battery or device to fire or temperature above 130°C/265ºF may cause explosion.
Only use with battery charger supplied in a properly functional electrical outlet. Charging should be performed at a
temperature between 40oF and 110oF. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may
damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. Recharge only with the USB charger supplied with the device (5V DC-
1000 mA) or with a USB Listed/Certified Class 2 Power unit charger marked 5V DC-1000 mA. [DO NOT use the device
during the battery charging process.]
If any leaks, odors, or deformities are noticed in the structure housing the battery, immediately discontinue use and
dispose of safely.
Do not expose the device to water or otherwise allow the device to get wet. [Should a battery become ruptured, do not

NOTE: The device will get hot while in use. Always allow it to cool before replacing cartridges.
Let’s get started.
1. Charge the Repeller
a. Pull back the rubber cover on the charge port and insert the USB cable provided
b. Plug the charger into a standard 120V wall receptacle
c. Fully charge the repeller before the first use for best results.

2. To insert or replace a [repellent] [refill][cartridge]
a. Important:
a. Do not remove the cap until ready to use.
b. Do not touch or remove the wick.
c. Keep the cap for storage or travel.
d. Always replace the cap on refill prior to transport or travel.
e. Do not transport the device with refill installed.
b. Open the repeller. If replacing a used cartridge, lift out old cartridge by the outside plastic to remove.
c. Gently squeeze the refill cap [and lift upward to remove.] [Remove the cap from a repellent cartridge]
d. [Insert the Repellent Cartridge into the repeller. Replace the repeller top] [taking care not to damage the repellent
cartridge wick.]

3. Turn on
a. Move the mode switch to UNLOCK mode
b. Push [and hold] the power button [until illuminated]
c. To turn off, press and hold the power button until the lights turn off.
d. For use outdoors on patios, decks, unenclosed porches, walkways, around swimming pools and other outdoor
areas where mosquito protection is desired. Do not use indoors, in a tent or an enclosed area. Do not cover.
Keep repeller upright during use.
e. Run for 15 minutes to completely establish the [protection] zone
Operating Modes
UNLOCK [icon] - In the UNLOCK position, the repeller is ready for use. Press and hold the POWER button for 5 seconds
to activate/deactivate LOCK mode.
LOCK [icon] - LOCK MODE prevents the repeller from being turned on accidentally during transport or storage. If power
button is pressed while in LOCK MODE the light will flash but not stay on.
AUTO-OFF [icon] [Timer mode
The repeller features an auto-off timer option, giving you one less thing to remember to turn off. When using the repeller in
this mode, the repeller will turn off after 120 minutes [2 hours] of use. To reset the timer, simply double-click the power
button to restart.
Control Panel
Your Radius will communicate different statuses through the control panel.
Repellent Cartridge Status - Don't worry about running out of repellent, the
indicator will let you know when you have less than 2 hours left.
• Flashing red Repellent Cartridge indicator: No Repellent
Cartridge present and unit will not turn on
• Solid red Repellent Cartridge indicator: Less than 2 hours of
repellent left
Timer - A built in 2 hour timer so you'll never forget to turn it off.
The timer icon will illuminate when the timer mode is activated.
The repeller will turn off after 2 hours automatically. To enter[/exit]
timer mode, press the power button 2X in quick succession.
ZoneCheck Indicator - A visual communication tool that lets you know the repeller status..
• Chasing Pattern: Unit is warming up
• Solid Illumination: Unit is up to temp / Actively releasing repellent
If you do not see the ZoneCheck ring illuminated, you are not yet
protected from mosquitoes.

5. Place your device
a. For outdoor use only
b. The Radius is best placed in the center of the desired Zone of repellency
c. If it is windy, place the repeller upwind of where you are sitting.
d. Only operate with the vent facing up.
e. Do not cover the repeller while in use.
6. Care and Storage
a. Occasionally debris or condensation may build up on your Radius device. Simply use a damp paper towel or
rag to wipe away any build up.
b. Do not expose the Radius device to extended periods of rain or submerge in water.
c. Do not expose the Radius device to temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
d. Store at room temperature in a dry environment when not in use.
e. Do not store with battery completely discharged for extended periods of time. Batteries should be charged at
least once every 3 months during storage.
f. Remove and cap refill if storing for extended periods of time.
Useful Tips
1. For best results, place in the center of the area you want protected from mosquitoes
2. Allow 15 minutes for the full zone to be established.
3. For optimal protection in larger areas, use multiple repellers spaced 3 metres apart
4. Effectiveness can be impacted by wind and air movement. Place upwind on a windy day.
5. Avoid exposing open refills or device(s) to rain

1. Condensation can build up on and around the top [vent] over time. Turn repeller off and wipe with a damp [dry] cloth.
Do not use chemicals or abrasives.

Troubleshooting
1. If the repeller won’t turn on [start]:
a. Confirm a refill is inserted. The repeller will not operate without a refill.
b. Confirm the top of the repeller is placed on the base and fully closed. The repeller will not operate while
separated.
c. Confirm the repeller is in UNLOCK or AUTO-OFF position. The repeller won’t turn on while in LOCK MODE.
d. Confirm the battery is charged. The repeller will not turn on if battery is too low.
e. Confirm the battery contacts are clean and free of debris or damage.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Please refer to the instructions [user guide] that came with your device for complete directions
for use.
PRECAUTIONS: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN AND PETS. Harmful if swallowed, inhaled, or absorbed
through the skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Avoid breathing vapor. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and
water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco or using the toilet. Only adults are
permitted to replace the cartridge.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS: This pesticide is highly toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not apply directly to water.
Drift from treated areas may be hazardous to organisms in adjacent aquatic sites.
FIRST AID: If Inhaled, move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial
respiration, preferably by mouth-to-mouth, if possible. Call a poison control centre or doctor for further treatment advice.
If swallowed, call a poison control centre or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Do not induce vomiting unless told
to do so by a poison control centre or doctor. Do not give any liquid to the person. Do not give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. If on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water
for 15–20 minutes. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. If in eyes, hold eye open and rinse slowly
and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue
rinsing eye. Call a poison control centre or doctor for treatment advice. Take container, label or product name and Pest
Control Product Registration Number with you when seeking medical attention.
TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION: Contains petroleum distillates. Treat symptomatically. Vomiting may cause
aspiration pneumonia.
STORAGE: Repellent Unit: DO NOT contaminate water, food or feed by storage. Pesticide Storage: Store in a cool,
dry place out of reach of children. Keep container tightly closed. Store refills out of direct sunlight.
DISPOSAL: Wrap in newspaper and dispose with household garbage. DO NOT reuse the empty refill containers.
Unused or partially used products should be disposed at provincially or municipally designated hazardous waste disposal
sites. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
NOTICE TO USER: This pest control product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on the label. It is an
