6. Place chrome trim rings so that none of the three clips on the ring is directly above the
ends of the element. Snap ring into place.
7. Lift element up through trim ring and slip drip pan under it.
8. Place element clip against edge of flange on ring and press element in place.

TO REMOVE THE TOP
WARNING
Disconnect Power before removing the top
or cleaning in the rough-in box.
1. Remove the reflector bowls and trim rings
as described on Pages 6 and 7. Pull off
control knobs and remove pal nuts. Place
thumb on top of clip and with forefinger
pull bottom of clip out.
2. Remove the four (4) screws, one at each
corner of the cooktop.
3. Lift off the top. Element can now be placed
on top of the control box to clear the bot-
tom for thorough cleaning.
When replacing reverse the above proce-
dures.
