2 Safety instructions
This device is designed for sound reinforcement. Use the device only as described in this user
manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper
and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages
resulting from improper use.
This device may be used only by persons with sucient physical, sensorial, and intellectual
abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this
device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Risk of injury and choking hazard for children!
Children can suocate on packaging material and small parts. Children can injure themselves when handling the device. Never allow
children to play with the packaging material and the device. Always store packaging material out of the reach of babies and small
children. Always dispose of packaging material properly when it is not in use. Never allow children to use the device without supervi‐
sion. Keep small parts away from children and make sure that the device does not shed any small parts (such knobs) that children
could play with.
DANGER!
Danger to life due to electric current!
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside. Do not use the device when covers, safety equipment or optical components are missing or damaged.

Danger to life due to electric current!
A short circuit could lead to a re hazard and risk of death. Always use proper ready-made insulated triple-core mains cable with a
safety plug. Do not modify the mains cable or the plug. In case of isolation damage, disconnect immediately the power supply and
arrange repair. If in doubt, seek advice from a qualied electrician.
CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage
The device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Over an extended period of
time, even levels that seem to be uncritical can cause hearing damage. Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience
ringing in your ears or hearing impairment. If this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use sucient ear protectors.

Risk of re
Do not block areas of ventilation. Do not install the device near any direct heat source. Keep the device away from naked ames.

Operating conditions
This device has been designed for indoor use only. To prevent damage, never expose the device to any liquid or moisture. Avoid
direct sunlight, heavy dirt, and strong vibrations. Only operate the device within the ambient conditions specied in the chapter
‘Technical specications’ of this user manual. Avoid heavy temperature uctuations and do not switch the device on immediately
after it was exposed to temperature uctuations (for example after transport at low outside temperatures). Dust and dirt inside can
damage the unit. When operated in harmful ambient conditions (dust, smoke, nicotine, fog, etc.), the unit should be maintained by
qualied service personnel at regular intervals to prevent overheating and other malfunction.

NOTICE!
Power supply
Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC
outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly injure the
user. Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric
shock or re.
NOTICE!
Possible damage due to installation of a wrong fuse
The use of dierent types of fuses can cause serious damage to the unit. Fire hazard! Only fuses of the same type may be used.
NOTICE!
Danger of short circuit
Switching on phantom power will damage the device if unbalanced XLR cables are connected. Only turn on phantom power when
exclusively balanced XLR cables are connected.

4 Installation and starting up
Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the
equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during
transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable
for transport or storage, respectively.
NOTICE!
Possible staining
The plasticiser contained in the rubber feet of this product may possibly react
with the coating of your surface and after some time cause permanent dark
stains.
In case of doubt, do not put the rubber feet directly on the surface and use a suit‐
able underlay if necessary, i.e. felt pads or similar.
Before power-up and before connecting or disconnecting audio cables, set all volume controls
of the unit to zero to avoid damage to the connected speakers and devices.
After power-up, the device is visible to other Bluetooth devices under the name ‘Six Mix’ and
can be paired with them.

A[DIGITAL EFFECTS]
1[PRESETS] | Rotary switch to select an eect from the list on the right
2[PEAK] | Indicates overload. If the LED ickers or is lit, the input signal level is too
high. The LED also lights up when the eects are muted.
3[MUTE] | Button to mute the eects
4[DFX RET] | Control to adjust the output signals eects portion
B[CH 1], [CH 2], [CH 3]
5[HIGH] | Equalizer: Control for adjusting the high frequencies (above 12 kHz) of the
individual channel in a range of –15 … +15 dB
[LOW] | Equalizer: Control for adjusting the high frequencies (below 80 Hz) of the
individual channel in a range of –15 … +15 dB
6[DSP/FX AUX1 POST] | Control for adjusting the signal portion of the respective
channel for the AUX bus
7[LEVEL] | Separate volume controls for each channel
8[MIC/LINE INPUT] | Microphone/line inputs of channels CH1 … CH3. Only micro‐
phones may be connected to these inputs via XLR. When using condenser micro‐
phones, turn on phantom power with pushbutton [PHANTOM] (11). Line signals can
be connected via the 6.3-mm jack.

5[HIGH] | Equalizer: Control for adjusting the high frequencies (above 12 kHz) of the
channel in a range of –15 … +15 dB
[LOW] | Equalizer: Control for adjusting the low frequencies (below 80 Hz) of the
channel in a range of –15 … +15 dB
6[DSP/FX AUX1 POST] | Control for adjusting the signal portion of the channel for the
AUX bus
7[LEVEL] | Volume control for the channel and for Bluetooth playback
9[TAPE IN] | Line inputs for channel 4 (3.5-mm jack and cinch sockets)
10 [TAPE OUT] | Line output carrying the stereo output signal (Main) at line level

11 [PH] | Push button to turn phantom power on/o for the XLR microphone inputs of
channels CH1 … CH3. The phantom power causes damage to the device if unbal‐
anced cables are connected. Only switch on phantom power while exclusively bal‐
anced cables are connected.
12 [MAIN OUT] | 6.35-mm (1/4-inch) output jack (stereo) for connecting passive
speakers
13 [MON OUT] | 6.35-mm (1/4-inch) output sockets (stereo) for connecting the unit to
an external amplier or powered speakers.

14 [MONITOR] | Control to adjust the monitor volume
15 [MAIN] | Control to adjust the overall volume of the unit
16 [POWER] | Power indicator. This LED lights when the unit is powered and turned on
17 [10] … [–30]: Output signal strength indicator. If the LED [10] ashes, the level is too
high and the amplier may overload. If none of the LEDs are lit even though a
signal is present, the level is too low. To set an ideal tone, adjust the level such that
the LEDs [–10] and [0] are on.
