How to mount:
Unscrew the (2x) thumb screws located on the back
of the mount to remove the back piece.

Lower plate
Align the controller with the mount’s lower plate
to get access to the controller’s mounting points.
Hold it in place by using the (2x) 2.5x8mm
screws, leave it loosely for now.
Re-attach the back piece with the (2x)
thumb screws - not too tight since you will
still need to be able to align properly the
mount to the RC.
Make sure the mount is properly aligned and positioned between the
middle of the antennas. If you are having trouble aligning the mount
release more pressure of the screws
Once the mount is properly aligned,
tighten all 4 screws to keep the mount in place.
If needed, to adjust the angle of the utility mount you can loosen it
up using the hex key and wrench provided.
How to mount a HDMI monitor
Utility mount
Using the (¼”-20) knob screw provided, screw the monitor in place
through the top opening of the utility mount and secure it tightly.
Connect your RC2

monitor using the Cable
provided.
How to mount a Tablet / Smart Phone Set up :
Screw the universal clamp in place using the (¼”-20 )
Knob screw provided. As shown.

The universal clamp has
two mechanisms to
ensure your tablet sit
secure and in place.
The first mechanism is
the ratchet part, it can
be extended in 6 fixed
steps (3 on the top / 3
on the bottom) to adjust
to the size of your
tablet. We recommend
setting it a little smaller
(1” / 2.5cm) than the
actual size of the tablet
for a tight, secure fit.

extend the ratchet

Place the phone / tablet in landscape mode by pulling the spring
mechanism upwards and release it to secure the device in place.
* It’s the spring-loaded part that will hold your device in place !
It’s only possible to connect those tablets with a Type C (USB C)
input port, meaning those tablets that use a Type C Cable to
charge. If your tablet uses a Micro USB or Lightning cable you
won’t be able to connect to your RC2
For Apple Devices.
You will be able to connect by using the included Type C to HDMI
cable together with a HDMI to Type C Video Capture Card.
In addition, you will need to install an app on
your iPad to convert the signal. We currently recommend
downloading the free app «CAPTURINO» from App Store.
Recommended resolution settings are 1920x1080 30Hz.
For Android Devices.
You will be able to connect by using the included Type C to HDMI
cable together with a HDMI to Type C Video Capture Card. In
addition, you will need to install an app on your tablet to
convert the signal. We currently recommend downloading
the free app «USB CAMERA PRO» from PLAY Store.
Recommended resolution settings are 1920x1080 30Hz.
How to mount to a tripod
The LifThor Freya is equipped with a built-in
mounting point located at the bottom of the unit
to mount it to a tripod – with ¼”-20 threads.
Unplug the Quick Release adapter from the lanyard by
pressing firmly on the sides.
How to attach a StrapThor lanyard:
(Sold separately )
Loop the string through the LifThor Freya utility
mount and pull to secure, reconnect it to the
lanyard.
