Vehicle Antenna Installation
1. Before installation, make sure that the glass surface is spotlessly clean and dry ，wipe
the area of the windscreen where you are attaching the antenna to.
2. If the glass is cold, you may need to warm up the glass first to ensure good adhesion.
3. Vehicle antenna should be fitted onto the windscreen on the side of the passenger seat.
To optimize reception, put the signal amplifier (the black plastic case) and the
aerial wires 3 to 5cm away from the side of the windscreen and 2 to 3cm from the top.

4. Ensure the glass surface is dry before mounting the antenna film. Remove the
adhesive backing and stick the lower horizontal section of the antenna film to the
windscreen. Be careful not to touch the sticky side of the antenna film. (Refer to
diagram 2).
5. Stick the antenna to the glass, gently applying pressure to remove any air bubbles.
(Refer to diagram 2).
6. Remove the adhesive backing from the amplifier block on the antenna lead, ensuring
that you do not touch the terminals or the sticky surface.

Installation Instruction
1. Vehicle Antenna Installation.
(Refer to page 1)
Note: This antenna cannot be used on reflective coated screens, heated screens, or
screens smaller than 25 cm (the length of the antenna film)
2. The adhesive windscreen aerial is only suitable for one time use and will not re-adhere to
the windscreen. You are suggested to affix the aerial by using a temporary adhesive first
to test the quality of reception before attaching the aerial permanently.
3. If possible, tuck the aerial cable into the recess between your windscreen and the
passenger pillar or affix it to your windscreen using the adhesive clips provided.
4. Run the aerial cable out of sight along the front of your dashboard.

5. Remove the backing from the copper coloured earth sheet / ground plane, then stick it
onto the A Pillar of the vehicle. You do not have to scrape away any paint from the metal of
the A Pillar, simply stick the earth sheet to the painted metal pillar.
6. Connect the signal cable to the DAB Receiver.
7. Insert the power cable into the socket on the side of the DAB Receiver, then tuck the
excess aerial cable into the recess between your windscreen and the passenger a-pillar.
