This document gives instructions on assembling the PCNC 440 Stand.

ASSEMBLE THE MACHINE STAND
You can use thread-locking fluid (not provided) on the screws during the assembly procedure.
1. Use three M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach each leg to the two side panels. Make sure that the holes for the
middle shelf are facing in the direction as shown in the following image.

2. Use six M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach the back panel to the two back legs.

3. Use eight M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach the lower shelf to the two side panels and the back panel.

4. Use eight M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach the middle shelf to the two side panels and the back panel.

5. Use 10 M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach the front panel to the two side panels and the lower shelf.

6. Use eight M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws and two door hinges to attach each door to the front panel.

7. Attach one door lock to each door.

8. Put four mounting blocks on the top panel, aligning each with the pre-drilled holes on the top panel.

9. Put one upper support below the top panel. Make sure that the inside of both upper supports face each
other.
10. Use two M12 × 20 mm socket head cap screws and two M12 lock washers to attach the upper support to the
top panel and mounting blocks from below the top panel.

11. Repeat Steps 9 through 10 for the second upper support.
12. Use one M12 × 20 mm socket head cap screw and one M12 lock washer to secure each mounting block to
the top panel.
Note: The center hole in each mounting block is used to mount the machine to the chip pan.
13. Use one M12 × 20 mm socket head cap screw and one M12 flat washer to secure the ends of the upper
supports to each corner of the top panel.

14. Put one M12 lock washer and one M12 nut on each M12 × 20 mm socket head cap screw and M12 flat
washer assembly as shown in the following image.

15. Use 12 M5 × 0.8 - 10 screws to attach the top panel.

16. Put one lower support at the front of the Machine Stand as shown in the following image.

17. Put two 1/4-20 × 3/8-inch Phillips screws through the Machine Stand front and the leg, and then fasten them
into the lower support.
18. Repeat Steps 16 to 17 for the back of the Machine Stand.
19. Put four 10-32 × 1/2-inch Phillips screws through the front of the Machine Stand and screw into the lower
support.
20. Repeat Step 19 for the back of the Machine Stand.
21. To install the Machine Stand's feet, you must first lay it on its front surface. Put a large piece of cardboard
(or similar) on the floor to protect the Machine Stand.
22. Set Machine Stand down on the cardboard that you put on the floor in Step 22.
23. Put one M12 nut on each of the four leveling feet.

24. Put each leveling foot into each leg as shown in the following image. Make sure that the M12 nut is on the
bottom of the leg.

25. Lift the Machine Stand off the floor, and set it down on its feet.
26. (Optional) Level the feet as needed.
