Batteriescangiveyouapowerfulelectricalshock.
•Usetoolswithplastichandlesorwrapthe
handlesofmetaltoolswithelectricaltape.
•Becarefulnottocontactbothapositiveterminal
andanegativeterminalatthesametime.
1.Positionthevehicleonalevelsurface,engagethe
parkingbrakeandrotatetheOn/OffkeytotheOff
position.
2.Raisethebedtoaccessthevehiclebatteries.Remove
oneofthebatterycableslinkinganytwobatteries
inthebanktoremovepowerfromthesystem
(Figure1).

1.RemovetheOperator’sManualtubefromthedash.LoosenthefastenerssecuringtheR-clampsandtubetothe
dash(Figure7).Rotatetheclampsupwardandinstallthemanualtube.

assemblyusingtwobolts(5/16x3/4inch)andtwolocknuts(5/16inch).
Note:Orienttheatconnectorsothatisfacingthedriverseat.

converterharnesstomainvehicleharness.
11.Closethehood.Secureitusingthelatches.
12.Reconnectthebatterycableremovedpreviouslyandlowerthebed.
