Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the AR100 Viewer from TOSHIBA.
When connecting the dynaEdge DE-100 series mobile edge computing
device (hereinafter referred to as “dynaEdge”) to this product, the system
and applications installed on the dynaEdge are shown on the display. You
can also operate the application with the touch pad or buttons, and take
pictures/videos with the camera.
Please read this information carefully and keep it with your other
instruction manuals for future reference.
TOSHIBA means Toshiba Corporation and/or its afliates such as
Toshiba Client Solutions Co., Ltd. where applicable.
Safety Icons
Safety icons are used in this manual to bring important information to your
attention. Each type of message is identied as shown below.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation, which could result in death or
serious injury, if you do not follow the instructions.
A caution informs you that improper use of equipment or failure to follow
the instructions may cause data loss, equipment damage, and/or may
result in minor or moderate injury.
Please read. A note is a hint or advice that helps you make best use of
your equipment.

Failure to follow any of these instructions may cause data loss, equipment
damage, and/or may result in minor or moderate injury.
Comply with local laws and regulations applicable to use of wearable
devices and their accessories while driving or walking. Certain
regions may prohibit or restrict use of wearable devices e.g., only
hands-free use is allowed.

General Use Instructions
Handle the product with care. Do not repeatedly or forcefully
shake the product.
Do not use the product under strong lighting conditions, such as
under direct sunlight.
Under dim conditions, the display screen may appear extremely
bright making it difcult to see your surroundings clearly. For your
safety, pay close attention to your surroundings.
When using the product in a narrow or crowded space, please
pay close attention to obstacles and other people to prevent
accidents.
When putting on or removing the product, please be careful of
the pointed edges of the frame.
If you should experience any itching or skin irritation due to
contact (such as your face) with the product, please immediately
stop using the product and consult a doctor.
If you perspire while using the product, please wipe sweat off
your face and the product to prevent itching and skin irritation.
Do not set the volume too high when using the speaker.
Continuous and prolonged use of the product may potentially
have adverse effects including, but not limited to, motion
sickness, perceptual after-effects, disorientation, decreased
postural stability, eye strain, and headache. If you continue to
experience pain or discomfort despite adequate rest, stop using
the product immediately and consult a doctor.
General Frame Instructions
Please use the correct frame size for your face. An unsuitable
frame size may cause discomfort, injury and/or damage to frame.
When wearing the frame, be careful not to let the pointed edges
of the frame or the nose pad accidentally come into contact with
your eyes, which may cause eye injury or even blindness.
Do not forcibly press a nose pad against your nose, as this may
cause injury to the nose.
If the frame is deformed or causes any discomfort during
wearing, stop using it immediately and contact an authorized
Toshiba service provider for any inspection or repair service.

The operation on the buttons A~D and the touch pad depends on
the application in use. Refer to the related application instructions for
details.
Do not block the ambient light sensor, or it may not work properly.
The camera LED glows while you are taking photos/videos.
All product specications, congurations, prices, system/component/

Assembling the frame
Generally users will choose the side of their dominant eye to maximize
individual comfort. For this reason, the AR100 Viewer is designed for
either left or right eye use. You can assemble the AR100 Viewer on either
the left or right side of the frame.
Push the mounting rail of the AR100 Viewer slowly in the direction of the
arrow, as shown in the following gure, to x into the frame. After having
properly xed the AR100 Viewer to the frame, you can slide the AR100
Viewer back and forth to set a comfortable position.
Assembling the frame
To remove the AR100 Viewer from the frame, reverse the above
procedure.
Be sure to remove all the cables connected to the AR100 Viewer
before connecting it with the frame.
This frame can be positioned comfortably in front of the user’s eyes
even while using prescription glasses.

Connecting with the dynaEdge
Perform this operation after xing the AR100 Viewer to the frame.
The AR100 Viewer supplies power from the dynaEdge. Please
charge the dynaEdge before connecting.
To connect with the dynaEdge:
1. Plug one end of the USB cable into the USB Type-C™ port of the
AR100 Viewer.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the USB Type-C™ port of the
dynaEdge.

3. Turn on the dynaEdge.
Refer to the user’s manual of your dynaEdge for the operation on
dynaEdge.
To prevent the USB cable from getting in the way while working, it is
recommended attaching it to your collar using the cable clip provided
with some models.

After xing the AR100 Viewer to the frame, you can adjust the position and
angle.

To set a comfortable position and angle, adjust the AR100 Viewer slowly in
the direction of the arrow, as shown in the following gure.

Troubleshooting
In the unlikely event you nd the AR100 Viewer is not working as expected
please refer to the following scenarios and suggested resolutions. Refer
to the online user’s manual for detailed information and instructions
concerning the dynaEdge.
Power
Problem Procedure
The AR100 Viewer turns
on but shuts down soon
after, automatically.
The AR100 Viewer
cannot be powered on.
The battery of your dynaEdge might be
drained.
Connect the power cord/adaptor of the
dynaEdge to charge it.
Replace the battery pack of the
dynaEdge with a charged one.
The internal temperature of the dynaEdge
has reached an unacceptably high level,
and to prevent any damage, the dynaEdge
automatically shuts down.
Leave the dynaEdge off until it reaches
room temperature.
Do not block the cooling vents of the
dynaEdge.
If you are still unable to resolve the problem,
contact TOSHIBA Support.
Display
Problem Procedure
No display. Make sure the dynaEdge is powered on.
Check the connections to make sure that
the AR100 Viewer is correctly connected to
the dynaEdge.
The battery of your dynaEdge might be
drained.
Connect the power cord/adaptor of the
dynaEdge to charge it.
Replace the battery pack of the
dynaEdge with a charged one.
The screen does not
display properly. Make sure the resolution is set to 1280x720
pixels by clicking Start -> (Settings) ->
System -> Display -> Resolution.
If necessary, please operate the dynaEdge
by connecting it to an external monitor.
If you are still unable to resolve the problem,
contact TOSHIBA Support.

Úvod
Děkujeme, že jste si zakoupili Prohlížeč AR100 od společnosti TOSHIBA.
Při připojování mobilního výpočetního zařízení řady dynaEdge DE-
100 (dále zde uváděného jako zařízení „dynaEdge“) k tomuto produktu
se systém a aplikace nainstalované v zařízení dynaEdge ukážou na
displeji. Rovněž můžete aplikaci ovládat pomocí touch padu nebo tlačítek
a pořizovat snímky/videa pomocí fotoaparátu.
Pečlivě si přečtěte tyto informace a uchovejte je společně s dalšími
příručkami, aby bylo možné je v budoucnu opět vyhledat.

Obecné pokyny k používání
Zacházejte s produktem opatrně. Netřeste produktem opakovaně
nebo velkou silou.
Nepoužívejte produkt v podmínkách silného osvětlení, například
pod přímým slunečním světlem.
Za šera může mít displej extrémní jas, který nedovoluje vidět
okolí dostatečně jasně. Pro vaši bezpečnost dávejte pozor na
svoje okolí.
Při používání produktu v úzkém nebo přeplněném prostoru dávejte
pozor na překážky a ostatní osoby, aby nedocházelo k nehodám.
Při vkládání nebo vyjímání produktu dávejte pozor na ostré
okraje rámečku.
Pokud by vás při dotyku s produktem začala svědit kůže, nebo
byste ji podráždili (například na obličeji), přestaňte produkt ihned
používat a obraťte se na lékaře.
Pokud se při používání produktu potíte, setřete pot z obličeje
a z produktu, aby nedošlo ke svědění nebo podráždění kůže.
Při používání reproduktoru nenastavujte příliš vysokou hlasitost.
Neustálé a dlouhé používání produktu může mít případné
nepříznivé účinky, mezi které patří především kinetóza,
dodatečné účinky na vnímání, dezorientace, snížená stabilita
postoje, únava očí a bolest hlavy. Jestliže budete pociťovat
bolest nebo nepohodlí i po adekvátní přestávce, ihned přestaňte
používat produkt a obraťte se lékaře.
Obecné pokyny k rámečku
Používejte správnou velikost rámečku pro váš obličej. Nevhodná
velikost rámečku může způsobit nepohodlí, poranění a/nebo
poškození rámečku.
Při nošení rámečku dbejte, aby špičaté okraje rámečku nebo
nosní opěrka nepřišly do kontaktu s očima, což by mohlo
způsobit poranění očí nebo dokonce oslepnutí.
Netlačte nosní opěrku silou na nos, abyste si nos neporanili.
Jestliže je rámeček poškozený nebo nepohodlný při nošení,
přestaňte jej ihned používat a kontaktujte autorizovaného
poskytovatele služeb Toshiba se žádostí o kontrolu nebo opravu.
