Until now you only found Intel Pentium processors in high-end
notebooks, at high-end prices. But we have put an end to all that.
Because with the Satellite 100CS you get Pentium performance at pri-
ces you can afford. But that’s where the comparison with entry-level
computing ends – because from there on Satellite 100CS is a real star
performer. The 75 MHz Intel Pentium processor has the power to
handle even the most complex programs. And what’s more, the
Satellite 100CS has 8 MB EDO RAM – a perfect match for the proces-
sor’s 64 Bit Bus. Need to run several large programs simultaneously?
No problem. The Satellite 100C will handle them – as well as vast
amounts of your own data – with ease thanks to its huge 520 Mio.

Naturally, there’s a superb screen system to translate all this internal
power into great images. The razor sharp 10.4-inch DSTN colour
screen is supported by the same video controller that we have instal-
led on our top of the range models. That guarantees you almost 50%
faster picture builds than on any other comparable notebook PC.
And so you can really exploit the freedom to work wherever you
want, the Satellite comes packed with the full range of connections:
you can use its 2 PC Card (PCMCIA) slots to hook up any time,
anywhere. Expandability is not the only thing that's built in. The
power supply has been integrated to eliminate additional bulky bag-
gage. And the new Satellite 100CS also comes bundled with either
Windows 95 or Windows for Workgroups – free – all you have to do
is decide which one you want. So if you feel the need for speed, why
not make your way to the nearest Toshiba dealer and take the
Satellite 100CS out for a spin yourselves. Move up to the fast lane
