NORMAS BÁSICAS DE SEGURANÇA
Lembre: qualquer equipamento pode causar lesões se operado inapropriadamente ou se o usuário não
entender como operar o equipamento.
Cuidado: os freios e a estabilidade do cortador de grama dirigível podem ser afetados com
a adição de qualquer acessório.
- Leia o manual do varredor e saiba como operá-lo antes de usar.
- Sempre instrua outros usuários antes que eles operem o varredor.
- Não permita que crianças operem o varredor.
- Não permita que ninguém ande sobre o varredor.
- Opere o varredor em velocidade reduzida em terrenos acidentados, perto de valas e ladeiras para
prevenir que ocorra a perda de controle.
- Os freios e a estabilidade do veículo podem ser afetados com a adição deste varredor. Não encha o
varredor em sua capacidade máxima sem checar a capacidade de reboque do veículo para puxar e para
o varredor adicionado.
- Não exceda 9 km/h. Se dirigir rápido demais pode causar danos às rodas e rolamentos das vassouras.
- Não segure no braço de esvaziamento enquanto o cortador dirigível estiver em movimento.
- Nunca fixe o braço de esvaziamento ao cortador dirigível ou qualquer parte do seu corpo. Sempre
mantenha-o seguro no cesto recolhedor enquanto o cortador dirigível estiver em movimento. Se alguma
peça do braço de esvaziamento for danificada, pare o uso do varredor e substitua por uma nova.
- Pare e inspecione o veículo e varredor se algum dano for causado depois de bater em algum obstáculo.
Repare qualquer dano antes de continuar a atividade.
- Mantenha o varredor longe do fogo. O calor excessivo pode danificar as escovas e o cesto recolhedor
e pode fazer com que o conteúdo do cesto recolhedor pegue fogo.
- Antes de armazenar o varredor, sempre esvazie o cesto recolhedor para evitar combustão espontânea.
- Siga as instruções de manutenção e lubrificação como descritas na seção de manutenção deste
manual.

FIXANDO O ENGATE DO VARREDOR AO CORTADOR DIRIGÍVEL
1. Coloque o cortador dirigível e o varredor em uma superfície plana.
2. Posicione o engate de ajuste da altura do varredor aproximadamente no meio de sua extensão de
ajuste [Fig. 22].
3. Fixe o engate do cortador dirigível ao engate do varredor. Utilize o espaçador para eliminar a folga
entre o engate do cortador dirigível e o engate do varredor.

REGULAGEM DO VARREDOR
AJUSTE DA ALTURA DAS ESCOVAS
Para ajustar a altura das escovas, mova para cima a alavanca de ajuste da altura para levantar a
escova, ou empurre para baixo a alavanca para baixar a escova. Para iniciar a regulagem das vassouras,
posicione a alavanca de ajuste na posição “1”. Em seguida, verifique a altura que a grama atinge
[Fig. 23].

2. Limpe o cesto do varredor com uma escova ou vassoura.

PASSOS PARA MANUTENÇÃO
1. Limpe o varredor a cada uso.
2. Verifique se há peças desgastadas ou danificadas e substitua imediatamente por peças originais
Tramontina.
3. Lubrifique o rolamento do eixo das escovas com algumas gotas de óleo.
4. Remova a calota da roda, retire o parafuso e as rodas, limpe as rodas e as engrenagens encontradas
na caixa das rodas. Depois de limpar, lubrifique com graxa e monte novamente. Faça o mesmo com a
outra roda.

COMO USAR SEU VARREDOR
COMPENSAÇÃO DA BARRA DE ACOPLAMENTO
A barra de acoplamento pode ser fixada no conjunto de orifícios ao centro, do lado esquerdo e lado
direito do tubo de compensação da barra de acoplamento.
VELOCIDADE DO VARREDOR
Ajuste a velocidade de acordo com as condições para atingir melhores resultados.
ESVAZIAMENTO DO VARREDOR
Solte o braço de esvaziamento da haste do eixo e puxe para frente para esvaziar o cesto. Sempre
esvazie o cesto depois de cada uso.
ARMAZENAGEM
Antes de guardar seu varredor, sempre esvazie o cesto para evitar combustão espontânea.
1. Limpe o varredor e o cesto completamente para prevenir ferrugens e proliferações de fungos.
2. Para dobrar o cesto para armazenagem, remova as duas hastes do suporte da parte traseira do cesto.
3. Remova o pino do engate (20), [Fig. 02, pág. 05] do orifício central, dobre a barra de acoplamento (8),
[Fig. 02, pág. 05] para a direita ou esquerda e então recoloque o pino do engate (20), [Fig. 02, pág. 05].
4. Armazene-o em um local seco.

MANUTENÇÃO E AJUSTE
TROCA DE ESCOVAS
Troque as vassouras uma de cada vez.
1. Remova o cesto do varredor.
2. Solte os parafusos sextavados e porcas dos dois retentores individuais que seguram uma escova ao
retentor duplo. Não solte ou remova parafusos que prendem o retentor duplo ao eixo de transmissão
das escovas.
3. Encaixe a escova para fora dos retentores, verificando em qual lado da escova as cerdas estão
sobrepostas.
4. Instale a escova nova, assegurando que as cerdas se sobreponham do mesmo lado da escova como
antes.

ENGRENAGEM DA RODA E LINGUETA
Não retire ambas as rodas ao mesmo tempo; as peças não são intercambiáveis, [Fig. 27, pág. 12].
• Retire a tampa do cubo da roda (1), o pino (2), a arruela (3), a roda (4), o espaçador (8) e a porca (9).
• Retire o anel de encaixe (5), o pinhão (6) e a chaveta de freio (7). Limpe o eixo e a engrenagem.
• Instale o pinhão (6) e a chaveta de freio (7). A chaveta tem que se mover livremente no eixo.
• Lubrifique levemente o eixo com graxa e encha o pinhão (6) com graxa consistente.
• Lubrifique levemente com graxa o eixo das escovas e os dentes da engrenagem na roda.
• Instale a tampa do cubo da roda (1), o pino (2), a arruela (3), a roda (4), o espaçador (8) e a porca (9).

Nota: as escovas só devem mover-se durante a rotação para a frente. Se as escovas rodarem em
ambas as direções, a chaveta de freio está trancada no pinhão. Desmonte e assegure-se de que a
chaveta se move livremente.

substituir gratuitamente as peças que, em condições normais de uso e manutenção e, segundo
avaliação técnica, apresentem defeito de fabricação.

Tramontina mais próximo.

BASIC SAFETY RULES
Remember: any power equipment can cause injury if operated improperly or if the user does not understand how
to operate the equipment.
Caution: the brakes and the vehicle stability can be affected by the addition of any accessory.
- Read the vehicle and sweeper owners manual and know how to operate your vehicle and sweeper before using
this sweeper attachment.
- Always instruct other user before they operate the sweeper.
- Do not permit children to operate sweeper.
- Do not permit anyone to ride on sweeper.
- Operate the sweeper at reduced speed on rough terrain, near ditches and on hillsides to prevent loss of control.
- Vehicle braking and stability may be affected with the attachment of this sweeper. Do not fill sweeper to maximum
capacity without checking the capability of the towing vehicle to safely pull and stop with the sweeper attached.
- Do not exceed 6 m.p.h. Driving too fast may cause damage to sweeper’s wheels and bearings.
- Do not hold onto dump handle while riding mower is moving.
- Never attach dump handle to riding mower or any part of your body. Always keep it secured to the hopper bag
while riding mower is moving. If any part of dump handle should become damage, stop use of sweeper and replace
the damage part.
- Stop and inspect vehicle and sweeper for damage after striking an object. Repair any damage before continuing
operation.
- Keep sweeper away from fire. Excessive heat can damage the brushes and hopper bag and could cause the bag
and its contents to burn.
- Before storing the sweeper, always empty the hopper bag to avoid spontaneous combustion.
- Follow maintenance and lubrification instructions as outlined in the maintenance section of this manual.

ATTACHING SWEEPER HITCH TO RIDING MOWER
1. Place the riding mower and sweeper on a level surface.
2. Set the sweeper height adjustment handle to about the middle of its adjustment range [Fig. 22, page 08].
3. Attach the sweeper hitch to the riding mower hitch, marking adjustments to the hitch brackets depending on
the drawbar height of your riding mower.
SWEEPER REGULATION
BRUSH HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the height of the brushes, move the height adjustment lever upwards to raise the brush or downwards
to lower the brush height. To start brushes regulation, dispose the adjustment lever on position “1”. Then check
grass height [Fig. 23, page 08].
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING
1. Clean sweeper housing with a soft brush or cloth.
2. Clean debris from hopper bag with a brush or broom.
3. Remove any material which has wrapped around brushes or ends of brush shaft.
STEPS FOR MAINTENANCE
1. Clean the sweeper after each use.
2. Inspect for worn or damaged parts, such as brushes and wheels.
3. Lubricate the brush shaft bearing twice a with a few drops of oil.
4. Remove wheels and clean sprockets and gears found inside the wheel housing.
After cleaning, lubricate with an even coat of light grease. To remove the wheel, pop off the hub cap using a
screwdriver and remove the lock nut and flat washer.

OVERLAPPED BRISTLES
HOW TO USE YOUR SWEEPER
DRAWBAR OFFSET
The drawbar can be attached to the center, left hand or right hand side of the drawbar offset tube.
SWEEPING SPEED
Adjust the speed according to the conditions to achieve best results.
DUMPING OF SWEEPER
Your sweeper can be dumped without getting off of the rider or riding mower. Unclip dump lever from pivot rod
and pull forward to empty the hopper. Always empty hopper after each use.
STORAGE
Before storing your sweeper, always empty the bag to prevent spontaneous combustion.
1. Cleab the sweeper and hopper bag thoroughly to help prevent rust and mildew.
2. To collapse the hopper bag for storage, remove the two hopper support rods from the rear of the hopper.
3. Remove the hitch pin (20), [Fig. 02, page 05] from the center hole, fold the drawbar (8), [Fig. 02, page 05] to the
right or left and then replace hitch pin (20), [Fig. 02, page 05].
4. Store in a dry area.
SERVICE AND ADJUSTMENTS
BRUSH REPLACEMENT
Replace brushes one brush at a time.
1. Remove the hopper bag from the sweeper.
2. Loosen hex bolts and lock nuts on two single brush retainers which
clamp one brush to the double brush retainers. Do not loosen or remove
bolts which fasten double brush retainers to brush shaft [Fig. 26].
3. Slide the brush out of the retainers, noting on which side of the brush
the bristles overlap.
4. Install new brush, making sure the bristles overlap on the same side
of the brush as before.
WHEEL GEAR AND PAWL
Do not remove both wheels at the same time; parts are not interchangeable [Fig. 27, page 12].
• Remove hub cap (1), bolt (2), washer (3), wheel (4), step spacer (8), and nut (9).
• Remove snap ring (5), ratchet gear (6), and drive pin (7). Clean shaft and gear.
• Install ratchet gear (6) and drive pin (7). Pin must move freely in shaft.
• Lightly grease shaft and fill ratchet gear (6) with grease.
• Lightly grease brush axle and gear teeth on wheel.
• Install hub cap (1), bolt (2), washer (3), wheel (4), step spacer (8), and nut (9).
Note: brushes should only move during forward rotation. If brushes rotate in both directions, drive pin is jamming
the ratchet gear. Disassemble and make sure drive pin moves freely.

months, of which 03 (three) months are contractual warranty and 90 (ninety) days are legal warranty, according to
article 26 of the Consumer Protection Code.
• The period of this warranty dates from the date of emission of the equipment sales receipt, which should be
attached to this agreement, with the warranty only being valid on presentation of the sales receipt.
• Within a total period of 06 months, TRAMONTINA MULTI S.A. undertakes to repair or replace parts free of
charge which according to technical assessment display manufacturing defects under normal conditions of use
and maintenance.
• The purchaser is responsible for shipping and packaging costs to the nearest Tramontina Authorised Service provider.
• The purchaser is responsible for the equipment’s necessary periodical inspection, maintenance and cleaning, and
also for observing all the care requirements in the user’s manual.
The following are not covered by warranty:
• Parts damaged by natural wear, accident, incorrect use and maintenance of the equipment or operator misuse.
• Parts damage through unsuitable use or assembly not conforming to the instructions in this manual.
• Revisions, maintenance, and periodical cleaning necessary to the equipment.
• Damage caused by not following the guidance in this manual.
• Equipment displaying signs of tampering, use of non-original parts, or repair by people not authorised by
Tramontina.
NOTE
ALL PARTS PROVEN WITH MANUFACTURING DEFECT WILL BE REPLACED WITHOUT COST, WITHOUT
HAVING TO CHANGE THE EQUIPMENT.
