Butler Arm
Riser Tube
I-Base
Attach the Riser Tube to the
I-Base using three bolts and
three lock nuts. Then slide the
Butler Arm onto the Riser Tube
as shown.

2Bolt the Ratchet onto the Riser
Tube and attach Webbing to the
Slider as shown.

Start with bottom hole. Insert
bolt through ratchet and then
through corresponding hole in
Riser Tube. Thread nut from
inside Riser Tube. Repeat for
top bolt and nut. Insert Plastic
Cap into top of Riser Tube.
Run Sleeve through webbing
and locate between the holes in
the Slider. Insert bolt through
Slider holes and the sleeve and
tighten Lock Nut to secure.

33 Attach the Tray Angled Sup-
ports to the bottom of the
tray as shown here.

Usage
Altitude Adjustment
Lock both Front Casters.
To increase Tray altitude leave the
Ratchet Lever engaged with the Ratchet
Gear as shown here. Crank handle until
at desired altitude. Then see tension
knob information below.
To decrease the Tray altitude, hold the
Handle firmly and flip the Ratchet Lever
out of the way. Maintain control of the
handle at all times. Once you are at
desired altitude flip the Ratchet Lever
onto the Ratchet Gear and inspect to
ensure that it is fully engaged.

Stabilizing Knob
The Stabillizing Knob on the Slider
makes the Tray assembly more stable.
Once the Tray altitude is dialed in, hand
tighten tighten the knob. This reduces
the play between the Riser Tube and
the Butler Arm which stabilizes the tray
in position.
Do NOT rely on the Stabilizing Knob to
maintain Tray altitude. Ratchet Lever
engagement with the Ratchet Gear is
always necessary to maintain Tray alti-
tude.

Safety First
Only move the Topside Tool Tray when the tray is at it’s lowest altitude.
ALWAYS lock both Rear Casters before using the Tray or changing its
altitude.
To lower the Tray you must flip the Lever away from the Ratchet Gears.
Once you do this it is very important that you maintain control of the
handle. Failure to control the Ratchet Handle could result in the rapid
descent of the Tray. This could result in damaged vehicles, equipment as
well as injury or even death.
Along these same lines, NEVER lower the Tray altitude if anybody or
anything is near or beneath the tray.
NEVER allow children to play with the ProGear Topside Tool Tray. Don’t
even let them near it.
The tension knob provides improved Tray stability once the tray is at
desired altitude. It is only a secondary stability device. Do NOT rely on
the Tension Knob to maintain Tray altitude. The Ratchet Lever must
always be fully engaged with the Ratchet Gears when in use.
