AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
Di seguito sono riportate importanti indicazioni
riguardanti l’installazione, l’uso e la manutenzione;
conservare con cura questo libretto per ogni ulteriore
consultazione; utilizzare il prodotto solo nel modo
indicato dal presente libretto di istruzioni; ogni altro uso è
da considerare improprio e pericoloso; perciò il
costruttore non può essere considerato responsabile nel
caso in cui vi siano danni derivanti da usi impropri,
erronei ed irragionevoli.
Prima dell’uso verificare l'integrità dell'apparecchio: in
caso di dubbio non utilizzarlo e rivolgersi all’assistenza.
Non lasciare gli elementi dell'imballaggio (sacchetti in
plastica, polistirolo espanso, chiodi, graffette, ecc.) alla
portata dei bambini in quanto sono potenziali fonti di
pericolo; inoltre, ricordiamo che questi, devono essere
oggetto di raccolta differenziata.
Accertarsi che i dati di targa siano compatibili con quelli
della rete elettrica; l'installazione deve essere effettuata in
base alle istruzioni del costruttore considerando la
potenza massima indicata in targa; un’errata installazione
può causare danni a persone, animali o cose, per i quali il
costruttore non può essere considerato responsabile.
Se fosse necessario l’uso di adattatori, prese multiple e
prolunghe utilizzare quelli conformi alle vigenti norme di
sicurezza; non superare i limiti di assorbimento indicati su
adattatore e/o prolunghe, nonché quello di massima
potenza marcato sull'adattatore multiplo.
Non lasciare l'apparecchio inutilmente inserito; meglio
staccare la spina dalla rete di alimentazione quando
l'apparecchio non viene utilizzato.
Scollegare sempre l’apparecchio dall’alimentazione se
lasciato incustodito.
Le operazioni di pulizia devono essere effettuate dopo
aver staccato la spina.

Qualora l’apparecchio sia fuori uso e si sia deciso di non
ripararlo, si raccomanda di renderlo inutilizzabile
tagliando il cavo di alimentazione.
-Non avvicinare il cavo di alimentazione a oggetti
taglienti o a superfici calde e non tirarlo per staccare la
spina. Non lasciarlo penzolare dal piano di lavoro dove
un bambino potrebbe afferrarlo. Non utilizzare il
prodotto in caso di danni al cavo di alimentazione, alla
spina o in caso di cortocircuiti; fare riparare il prodotto
da un centro di assistenza autorizzato.
-Non esporre il prodotto a condizioni atmosferiche
dannose come pioggia, umidità, gelo, ecc. Conservarlo
in luoghi asciutti. Non maneggiare o toccare il prodotto
con mani bagnate o a piedi nudi.
-Questo apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini
dagli 8 anni in su e da persone con ridotte capacità
fisiche, sensoriali o mentali o con mancanza di
esperienza o conoscenza se a loro è stata assicurata
un’adeguata sorveglianza oppure se hanno ricevuto
istruzioni circa l’uso in sicurezza dell’apparecchio e
compreso i rischi associati; le operazioni di pulizia e di
manutenzione non devono essere effettuate da bambini a
meno che non abbiano più di 8 anni e siano sorvegliati.
-I bambini non devono giocare con l’apparecchio.
-Tenere il prodotto ed il cavo di alimentazione fuori dalla
portata dei bambini sotto 8 anni.
Se il cavo di alimentazione è danneggiato, o in caso di
guasto e/o di cattivo funzionamento non manomettere
l'apparecchio. L'eventuale riparazione deve essere
effettuata dal costruttore o dal suo servizio assistenza
tecnica o comunque da una persona con qualifica
similare, in modo da prevenire ogni rischio. Il mancato
rispetto di quanto sopra può compromettere la sicurezza
dell'apparecchio e far decadere i termini di garanzia.
ATTENZIONE: il prodotto ha una funzione riscaldante.

Le superfici possono sviluppare alte temperature. Dato
che la percezione della temperatura è diversa per ogni
persona, utilizzare l’apparecchio con cautela. Toccare
solo le superfici progettate per essere toccate.
-Questo apparecchio è progettato per uso domestico o
applicazioni simili come: cucine per il personale in
negozi, uffici o altri luoghi di lavoro, per i clienti in
hotel, motel, bed & breakfast o residence.
-L’apparecchio non è progettato per essere usato
attraverso timer esterni o telecomandi. Prima di ogni
utilizzo svolgere il cavo di alimentazione.
-Non sottoporre il prodotto ad urti, potrebbero
danneggiarlo. Utilizzare solo ricambi ed accessori
originali e compatibili.
-Non utilizzare sotto o accanto a materiali infiammabili
come le tende, fonti di calore, zone fredde e vapore.
INFORMAZIONI D’USO
Al primo utilizzo rimuovere la pellicola di protezione
della piastra, qualora sia presente; a causa della presenza
di un olio protettivo e di residui lasciati dalla pellicola la
piastra può emettere fumo. Dopo pochi utilizzi il fumo
sparirà. Al primo utilizzo fare fuoriuscire ripetutamente il
vapore lontano dai capi e provare il ferro su un qualsiasi
pezzo di stoffa senza valore per eliminare eventuali
residui di lavorazione, che potrebbero sporcare o graffiare
il tessuto da stirare.
Asciugare completamente i capi prima di stirarli; non
passare su bottoni e cerniere con la piastra.
Quando non si utilizza il sistema stirante o durante le
pause lavoro, riporre sempre il ferro sull’apposita gomma
isolante posta sul serbatoio ed accertarsi che sia stabile.
L’utilizzatore non deve lasciare incustodito il prodotto
quando è collegato alla presa di corrente.
Il ferro deve essere utilizzato e lasciato a riposo su una

superficie piana e stabile. L’orifizio di riempimento non
deve essere aperto durante l’utilizzo.
Mantenere il cavo elettrico libero da nodi e grovigli. Non
avvolgere il cavo attorno al ferro da stiro, né prima né
dopo l’uso, né avvicinarlo alla piastra se questa è calda.
Il ferro non deve essere utilizzato se è stato fatto cadere,
si vi sono segni di danni visibili, o se perde.
Non utilizzare il ferro da stiro come unità di
riscaldamento. Scollegare sempre la spina prima di
riempire o svuotare il serbatoio.
Si raccomanda l’utilizzo di acqua demineralizzata per
evitare incrostazioni eccessive (non coperte da garanzia).
Non riempire il serbatoio oltre la capienza massima e non
introdurre nel serbatoio miscele smacchianti, aceto, agenti
disincrostanti o chimici in genere.
Selezionare sempre la temperatura più idonea al capo da
stirare. Dopo la stiratura far fuoriuscire tutto il vapore con
l’apposito tasto, svuotare il serbatoio ed attendere il
raffreddamento di ogni parte prima di riporre il sistema.
Terminato l’utilizzo avvolgere il cavo ed il tubo vapore
negli appositi alloggiamenti. Se la pompa interna emette
un rumore forte e prolungato, controllare che vi sia acqua
nel contenitore e che il filtro anticalcare sia ben inserito.
ATTENZIONE: La piastra del ferro da stiro diventa
molto calda: attenzione a non scottarsi. Non
avvicinare il viso al vapore che fuoriesce dalla piastra.
ATTENZIONE: effettuare la manutenzione come
descritto in seguito, con particolare attenzione
all’usura del filtro e alla auto pulizia periodica.

INSTALLAZIONE
Posizionare il sistema stirante in posizione stabile,
lontano da fonti di calore.
Riempire il serbatoio e verificare che il filtro anti-calcare
sia correttamente inserito.
Al primo utilizzo o dopo che il ferro è rimasto a lungo
inutilizzato, è opportuno espellere vapore con il tasto
(A), per circa 30 secondi su un panno senza valore.
Questo espellerà residui di lavorazione o di calcare.
RIEMPIMENTO SERBATOIO
-Aprire il tappo del serbatoio (O)
-Riempire il serbatoio con acqua demineralizzata fino
all’indicazione ”MAX” e richiudere il tappo.
È possibile rifornire il contenitore in ogni momento.
Qualora la pompa interna emetta un rumore forte,
controllare che vi sia acqua nel contenitore, e riempire
per evitare danneggiamenti. Si raccomanda l’utilizzo di
acqua demineralizzata per evitare incrostazioni
eccessive (non coperte da garanzia).
FILTRO ANTICALCARE
Nel supporto (N) è presente uno sportello che copre
l’alloggiamento del filtro anti-calcare (fig. 1). Il filtro deve essere correttamente
inserito, altrimenti il sistema stirante non può emettere vapore. Qualora la pompa
interna emetta un rumore forte, controllare che il filtro sia ben fissato per evitare
danneggiamenti.
ATTENZIONE: per un corretto funzionamento sostituire il filtro ogni 6 mesi.
Per rimuovere il filtro occorre estrarlo tirando con forza.
Il filtro compatibile è il modello GIRMI SS05.
FUNZIONAMENTO
-Accendere l’apparecchio regolando la temperatura con la manopola (D) a seconda del capo da stirare
(Tabella di pagina 7-8). La luce di controllo della temperatura della piastra (B), posta sul ferro da stiro, si
illuminerà per indicare che il ferro si sta scaldando.
ATTENZIONE: quando tale luce si spegne significa che la piastra ha raggiunto la temperatura desiderata.
Durante il normale funzionamento la luce si accende ad intermittenza. L’emissione del vapore è possibile solo
con temperature superiori a ●●.
-Regolare la quantità di vapore da mandare al ferro con i tasti ECO e MAX (K). Al primo l’utilizzo del
vapore premere il tasto (A) per 10 secondi. Successivamente premere il tasto (A) a seconda del bisogno.
-Per la stiratura a secco, scaldare la piastra e non premere il tasto (A).
ATTENZIONE: nell’utilizzo a vapore, attendere il riscaldamento del ferro. Qualche goccia
potrebbe uscire insieme al vapore all’inizio della stiratura. Questo è normale ed è dovuto al
riscaldamento del cavo che collega caldaia e ferro.
SELEZIONE DEL TIPO DI TESSUTO E DELLA TEMPERATURA
Nella tabella riportata vengono fornite indicazioni sulla regolazione del termostato in base ai simboli
internazionali riportati sulle etichette dei capi d’abbigliamento o in base al tipo di tessuto.

Il tessuto non si può stirare
•Si consiglia di stirare prima i capi che richiedono una bassa temperatura e poi quelli a media ed alta
temperatura. Questo farà risparmiare tempo poiché la piastra si riscalda più velocemente di quanto si
raffreddi. Qualora si tratti di stirare capi compositi (Es: Acrilico e cotone) si consiglia di selezionare la
temperatura in base al capo che richiede quella più bassa.
•Quando non si conosce la composizione del tessuto si consiglia di stirare una parte non visibile del capo,
partendo dalla temperatura minima fino a trovare la temperatura più adatta.
•A volte il capo diventa lucido; in questo caso si consiglia di stirarlo sulla parte interna per non rovinarlo.
Quando si stira alla massima temperatura si consiglia di interporre un panno tra la piastra ed il tessuto
MANUTENZIONE e PULIZIA
FILTRO ANTICALCARE e AUTO PULIZIA
Per un corretto funzionamento effettuare l’autopulizia ogni 30 giorni e sostituire il filtro ogni 6 mesi. Il filtro
compatibile è il modello GIRMI SS05.
Quando occorre sostituire il filtro o effettuare la auto pulizia, la luce del tasto Self-Clean (L) lampeggia.
Quando questo accade effettuare l’auto pulizia per rimuovere i residui di calcare da piastra e condotti interni.
-Riempire il serbatoio ed accendere il ferro alla massima temperatura.
-Premere il tasto Self-Clean (L) per 5 secondi, finchè la luce del tasto non lampeggia.
-Portare il ferro su un contenitore resistente alle alte temperature, come un lavabo in metallo.
-Dopo circa 1 minuto il ferro emetterà una grossa quantità di acqua e vapore.
-Attendere che l’operazione finisca e che la luce del tasto (L) si spenga.
-Ripetere l’operazione di autopulizia una seconda volta.
PULIZIA - Prima di pulire una parte del prodotto assicurarsi che la spina sia staccata dalla presa
elettrica e che la piastra non scotti.
Qualsiasi residuo rimasto sulla piastra può essere rimosso usando un panno umido o un detergente liquido
non abrasivo. Non grattare la piastra con spugne di ferro o oggetti metallici.
Le parti plastiche possono essere pulite con panno umido e detergenti neutri e poi asciugate con uno asciutto.
Non immergere in acqua il prodotto.
DOPO LA STIRATURA
•Spegnere l’apparecchio e riporre il ferro sull’apposita gomma isolante.
•Fare uscire tutto il vapore premendo il tasto (A).
•Svuotare il serbatoio facendo uscire l’acqua dal tappo (O).
•Staccare la spina dalla presa elettrica. Lasciare che la piastra si raffreddi completamente.
•Avvolgere il cavo di alimentazione nell’avvolgicavo (H).

RIFIUTI APPARECCHIATURE ELETTRICHE ED ELETTRONICHE
Al termine del suo periodo di vita, il prodotto va smaltito seguendo le direttive vigenti riguardo alla
raccolta differenziata e non deve essere trattato come un normale rifiuto di nettezza urbana.
Il prodotto va smaltito presso i centri di raccolta autorizzati allo scopo, o restituito al rivenditore, qualora si
voglia sostituire il prodotto con uno equivalente nuovo. Il costruttore si occuperà dello smaltimento del
prodotto secondo quanto prescritto dalla legge. Il prodotto è composto di parti non biodegradabili e di sostanze
potenzialmente inquinanti per l’ambiente se non correttamente smaltite; altre parti possono essere riciclate. E’ dovere di
tutti contribuire alla salute ecologica dell’ambiente seguendo le corrette procedure di smaltimento. Il simbolo mostrato a
lato indica che il prodotto risponde ai requisiti richiesti dalle nuove direttive introdotte a tutela dell’ambiente (2002/96/EC,
2003/108/EC, 2002/95/EC, 2012/19/EC) e che deve essere smaltito correttamente al termine del suo periodo di vita.
Chiedere informazioni al comune di residenza in merito alle zone dedicate allo smaltimento dei rifiuti. Chi non smaltisce il
prodotto nel modo indicato ne risponde secondo le leggi vigenti. Se il prodotto è di piccole dimensioni (dimensioni esterne
inferiori a 25cm) è possibile riportare il prodotto al rivenditore senza obbligo di nuovo acquisto.

and maintenance; save this instruction manual for future
reference; use the equipment only as specified in this
guide; any other use is considered improper and
dangerous; therefore, the manufacturer cannot be held
responsible in the event of damages caused by improper,
incorrect or unreasonable use.
Before use, ensure the equipment is undamaged; if in
doubt, do not attempt to use it and contact the authorized
service center; do not leave packing materials (i.e. plastic
bags, polystyrene foam, nails, staples, etc.) within the
reach of children as they are potential sources of danger;
always remember that they must be separately collected.
Make sure that the rating information given on the
technical label are compatible with those of the electricity
grid; the installation must be performed according to the
manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum
power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect
installation may cause damage to people, animals or
things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered
responsible thereof.
If it is necessary to use adapters, multiple sockets or

electrical extensions, use only those that comply with
current safety standards; in any case do not exceed the
power consumption limits indicated on the electrical
adapter and / or extensions, as well as the maximum
power shown on multiple adaptor.
Do not leave the unit plugged; better to remove the plug
from the mains when the device is not in use. Always
disconnect from power supply if you leave it unattended.
Cleaning operations should be carried out after
unplugging the unit.
If the unit is out of order and you do not want to fix it, it
must be made inoperable by cutting power cord.
-Do not allow the power cord to get closer to sharp
objects or in contact with hot surfaces; do not pull it to
disconnect the plug.
-Do not use the appliance in the event of damage to the
power cord, plug, or in case of short circuits; to repair
the product only address an authorized service center.
-Do not handle or touch the appliance with wet hands or
bare feet. Do not expose the appliance to harmful
weather conditions such as rain, moisture, frost, etc..
Always store it in a dry place.
-Children must not play with the appliance.
-This appliance can be used by children of 8 years and

If the power cord is damaged, or in case of failure and / or
malfunction do not tamper with the unit. The reparation

must be done by manufacturer or by service center
authorized by the manufacturer in order to prevent any
risk. Failure to comply with the above may compromise
the unit safety and invalidate the warranty.
WARNING: This appliance includes heating function.
Surfaces, other than functional surfaces may develop high
temperatures. Since temperatures are perceived
differently by different people, this device should be used
with CAUTION. Hold the appliance exclusively to grip
surfaces intended to be touched.
-This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops,
offices and other working environments; by clients in
hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
farm houses, bed and breakfast type environments.
-The appliance is not intended to be operated by means
of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
-Before every use, unroll the power cord.
-Use original spare parts and accessories only.
-Do not subject the product to strong impacts, serious
damages may result.
-Do not use near or under flammable materials (like
curtains), heat, cold spots and steam.
GENERAL INFORMATION
At first use, remove the protective film of the plate; due to
the presence of a protective oil and residues left over from
the film, the plate could emit some smoke. After few
uses, the smoke will disappear. When using the product
for the first time, repeatedly use the steam (away from
clothes) and try to use the iron on a worthless piece of
cloth to remove any manufacturing residues that may
stain or scratch the fabric. Thoroughly dry the clothes
before iron them, do not iron over buttons and zippers.
When not using the ironing system or during breaks,

always store the iron on the appropriate insulated rubber
placed on the tank and make sure it is stable. Do not leave
the product unattended when the plate is hot.
Keep the cord free from knots and tangles. Do not wrap
the power cord around the iron, either before or after use,
or place it closer to the iron plate when it is hot.
Do not use the ironing system as a heating unit.
Always unplug the iron before you fill or empty the tank
We recommend the use of demineralized water to avoid
excessive fouling (not covered by warranty).
Do not fill the tank above the maximum capacity and do
not introduce into the tank mixtures for removing stain,
vinegar, descaling agents or chemicals in general.
Always select the most suitable temperature according to
the fabric to be ironed.
After ironing, drain all the water pushing the appropriate
release button, empty the tank and wait for the cooling of
all parts before storing the system.
After use, wrap the cable and steam hose in their
respective compartments.
If the internal pump emits a loud and prolonged noise,
check that there is water in the container and that the anti-
limescale filter is correctly inserted.
CAUTION: the iron plate gets very hot during use, be
careful not to touch it, serious risk of burns. Do not
put your face near the steam coming out the iron plate

below, paying particular attention to filter wear and
periodic self-cleaning.

INSTALLATION
Place the ironing system on a stable surface, away from heat sources.
Fill the water tank and verify that the anti-calc filter is properly installed. At first use, or after the iron has
been unused for a long time, it is recommended to expel the steam by pushing the button (A) for about 30
seconds. This procedure allows to eliminate any working or limestone leftovers.
FILLING THE TANK
-Open the tank lid (O)
-Fill the tank with demineralized water not exceeding the indication ”MAX”, then close the lid.
It is possible to refill the container at all times. If the internal pump makes a long and strong noise, check if
there is water in the container, and fill it immediately to avoid pump damaging.
We recommend the use of demineralized water to prevent excessive fouling (not covered by warranty).
ANTICALC FILTER
In the iron support (N) there is a lid that covers the anti-calc filter lodge (fig. 1).The filter must be properly
inserted, otherwise the steam station cannot make any steam. If the internal pump
makes a long and strong noise, check if the filter is mounted well, to avoid damage.
WARNING: for a correct function, replace the filter every 6 months. The suitable
spare filter is the model GIRMI SS05.
OPERATING THE SYSTEM
-Switch on the appliance regulating the temperature with the knob (D) according to
the fabric to be ironed (see table at page 13). The plate temperature control light (B) will light up to
indicate the iron is heating.
CAUTION: when the light shuts down it means that the plate has reached the desired temperature. During
normal operation, the light comes on intermittently. The emission of the vapor is only possible with
temperatures above ● ●.
-Adjust the volume of steam to send to iron with the buttons ECO and MAX (K).
-At the first emission of steam press the button (A) for 10 seconds. At following steam emissions press
button (A) depending to the need.
-For dry ironing, only heat the plate, and do not press button (A).
CAUTION: when using the steam, wait for the complete heating of iron. In the beginning, few
drops may come out together with the steam. This is normal and it is due to the heating of the
cable connecting the boiler and iron.

symbols printed on the clothing labels or according to the type of fabric.

•It is recommended ironing clothes that require low temperatures first and then medium and high
temperatures. This operation allows to save time since ironing plate heats faster than it cools down.
•In the case of blend fabric(Ex: Acrylic and cotton), it is recommended to select the temperature according
to the fabric that requires the lowest.
•When you do not know the composition, it is recommended to iron a non-visible part of the it, starting from
the lowest temperature to find the most suitable temperature. Sometimes the clothing becomes shiny, in this
case you need to iron it on the inside not to ruin it. When ironing at maximum temperature (MAX), it is
recommended to place a cloth between the ironing plate and the fabric.
MANTAINANCE and CLEANING
ANTICALC FILTER and SELF CLEAN
For a correct function, perform self-clean every 30 days and replace the filter every 6 months. The suitable
spare filter is the model GIRMI SS05.
When it is needed to replace the filter or to do the self-clean, the light of button Self-Clean (L) flashes. When
this happens make the self clean to remove limescale residues from the soleplate.
-Fill the tank and switch on the appliance at maximum temperature
-Press button Self-Clean (L) for 5 seconds, until the light of button flashes.
-Bring the iron on a container resistant to high temperatures, like a metal sink.
-After 1 minute the iron will start emitting a big quantity of steam and water.
-Wait for the operation to finish: the light of self-clean button (L) will stop flashing.
-Repeat the self-clean operation for a second time.
CLEANING - Before cleaning any part of the product, ensure that the unit is unplugged from the
electrical outlet and that the ironing plate is not hot.
Any leftovers on the ironing plate can be removed with a damp cloth or with a non-abrasive detergents. Do
not scrape the ironing plate with iron sponge or metal objects. The plastic parts can be cleaned with a damp
cloth and neutral detergent, then wiped with a dry cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.
BEFORE STORING
•Turn off the appliance and put the iron on the insulating rubber base.
•Remove the remaining water by pressing the button (A).
•Empty the tank pouring out the water from tank lid (O).
•Unplug the system from the outlet. Allow the plate to cool down completely.
•Wrap the power cord in the cable box (H).
