Basic safety precautions must be followed to
prevent injury to self or the machine
Failure to use the machine properly will void the warranty and
exclude Trinity Renewal Systems Intl., INC of ALL liability
if carpet is damaged while using one of our machines
Please read ALL instructions carefully before using the machine.
To reduce the risk of electrocution, shock or bodily injury, please read and follow
these directions:
• DANGER means severe bodily injury or death can occur to you or other personnel if
these safety precautions are ignored or not followed. Read and observe all DANGER
statement found in this Owner’s Manual and on your machine.
• WARNING means injury could occur to you or to other personnel if the WARNING
statement found on your machine or in this Owners Manual are ignored or are not
adhered to. Read and observe all WARNING statements found in this Manual and on
your machine.
• CAUTION means damage can occur to the machine or other property if the CAUTION
statements found on your machine or in this Owner’s Manual are ignored.
• Failure to read the Owner’s Manual prior to operating or attempting any service or
maintenance procedure to your machine could result in injury to you, to other personnel,
damage to the machine or other property, as well as voiding your warranty.
• To reduce the risk of fire, use only commercially available carpet products intended for
machine application.
• Risk of explosion. Floor sanding can result in an explosive mixture of fine dust and air.
To reduce risk of explosion, use as floor sanding machine only in well ventilated area
while wearing a protective face mask.
• Do not operate this machine until it is completely assembled. Inspect the machine
carefully before operation. Make sure all bolts are tight.
• Electrocution could occur if maintenance and repairs are performed on a unit that is
not disconnected from the power source. Disconnect the power supply before attempting
any maintenance or service.
• POWER CORD: Electrocution may occur if using a machine with a damaged power
cord. To prevent damage to the power cord, do not let the brush pad, pad driver or
wheels touch the power cord when the machine is running. Be careful when using the
machine to not run over the power cord as this can “chew” the cord and expose wires.
Always lift the cord over the machine and never use the electrical cord to move the
machine.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
12

4
3
• Maintenance and repairs performed by unauthorized personnel could result in damage
or injury and will void your Warranty.
•Unplug cord of machine if breaker blows or before turning breaker back on to avoid
machine turning on unattended.
• Electrical components of this machine can “short-out” if exposed to water or moisture.
Keep the electrical components of the machine dry. Wipe the machine down after each
use, run clear water thru to remove any debris and store the machine in a dry area.
Never expose to rain or submerge in water unless attached to a ground fault switch
nearby.
• Do not use this machine on steps or furniture since it could result in injury or damage.
• Keep pad driver clean and cleared of debris buildup or the pad driver may not hold the
pads under the machine properly.
• Do not ride on this machine.
• Remove or blow dust and dirt off the motor frequently.
• Unplug machine before cleaning or servicing.
• To avoid injury keep hands, feet and loose clothing away from all moving parts of
machine.
• Water solutions or cleaning materials used with this type of machine can leave wet
areas on the floor surface. These wet areas can cause a dangerous condition for the
operator or other persons if they walk on the wet surface. Always put CAUTION signs
near the area being cleaned.
• Keep nuts and bolts tight. If you hear or feel rattling/vibration examine all bolts and be
sure they are tight. Loose bolts on an oscillating machine can cause premature and
undue wear (see below).
• If you have an attached spray system on your machine, run water through the pump
Daily to keep system and pump clean. DO NOT run any harsh chemicals or any product
containing Citric acid through your spray system as it can ruin your pump and/or hoses.
**If you have a question or concern about anything not listed in these precautions,
please call Trinity Renewal’s office at 859-744-5332.
***IF WE DETERMINE THAT YOUR MACHINE HAS BEEN DROPPED OR
ABUSED IN ANY WAY THE WARRANTY IS IMMEDIATELY VOID***
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
IMPORTANT!!
As soon as your new machine arrives, look it over to be sure it arrived in the
same condition it was shipped in - pristine! Make sure the shipping box is in
good condition and free of gouges and big dents. Once you have determined
there were no freight issues, you will need to do a few simple set-up measures,
BEFORE USING YOUR MACHINE, to ensure maximum efficiency and quality
cleaning for you and your crew:
STEP #1 - YOU MUST PREP YOUR PAD DRIVER:
Your Trinity arrived with a red pad driver that holds your pads in place. The pad
driver bristles need to be ground down approx 1/8” to “rough them up” allowing
better grip and will hold pads better. Do the following steps on a rough surface
like concrete sidewalk or driveway - (NOT smooth garage or wood floors:)
1) Remove machine from shipping crate and all packing wrap
2) Turn machine on.
3) Run machine for approx. 15 minutes on concrete or asphalt surface
until ends are frayed.
STEP #2 - REMOVE PROTECTIVE FILM FROM BELL
The plastic bell is covered with a thin protective plastic film that may be
removed. You may remove this film but we do not remove prior to shipment.
STEP #3 - PRIME YOUR SPRAY PUMP & ADJUST SPRAYER
Push the spray button in to see if your spray jets are releasing a full stream. If
yes, do nothing. If no, while pushing the spray button in and holding it, adjust
one of the white plastic nylon caps at the end of your spray arm, just above the
spray jet. This removes pressure that may have built up during shipment. If it
still isn’t spraying well repeat the above step and loosen the other white cap.
Also, if you notice your jets are not spraying out ahead of your machine enough,
you can manually adjust the brass spray arms a bit by gently pulling them out
toward you a bit to position them as needed.
STEP #4 - MACHINES WITH INVERTERS
Plug in your Trinity. With the inverter set on 50, turn Trinity machine on FIRST.
Next, turn on inverter and slowly turn up to desired action. Average action is
between 50-80 depending on personal preference and the job. See page 9 for
more details on inverter usage.
SET UP YOUR NEW MACHINE

Directions on Switching Actions:
The action of your Trinity is set by
which holes you use to attach your
different heads to the counterbalance.
On the counterbalance is a diagram
of which way the blue strip on the
center plug must be positioned to run
at the desired action.
With the blue strip on the right, you
are in Action 1. With the blue strip
down, you are in Action 2.
With the blue strip on the left, you
are in Action 3. Action 3 is used for
normal cleaning.
To attach your brush or any head,
use the handy head tool with the allen
tool to hold the center plug as you
insert and tighten the two 3/8 bolts into
your counter balance (Pic A).
Put the head tool into one of the
holes of the center plug, push in two
bolts and start tightening by hand,
then use the allen tool to finish
tightening (Pic B).
For machines without an inverter,
normal cleaning is Action 3.
For machines with inverters,
normal cleaning is Action 4.
You should not need to change
machine actions unless cleaning
an area with outdated electric
system or fuses. If your Trinity
is blowing breakers go to
Action 2 first. If you are still
blowing breakers or having
problems, go to Action 1.
Do You Need to
Prime Your Pump?
Shipping, travel, or infrequent
use can cause pressure to
build in the spray system.
This is an easy fix. Simply
squeeze the spray trigger and,
at same time, loosen the clear
nylon cap around the orange
spray tip. May only need to
do one side.
SPRAY SYSTEM
When your machine arrives it should be ready to clean as soon as you put
chemical in the jug. The Trinity machine is a “walk and go” machine. You simply
walk and push the spray button at the same time. The Trinity will easily clean in
one pass unless it is a very high traffic area or an extremely greasy or heavily
soiled carpet. If, for some reason, liquid is not coming out, or barely coming out,
when you push the spray button, you will need to prime your pump.
**See instructions below**
If you have owned your machine awhile and notice the liquid is coming out in a
trickle instead of a spray, your filters probably need cleaning. Simply unscrew
and remove the white nylon caps and spray jets to get to the filters (one filter
behind each spray jet). Use an old toothbrush or toothpick to gently scrub and
remove any attached debris and you should be good to go.
The Trinity spray system consists of: 60 psi pump (not shown), hoses, 2 ½ or 5
gallon jug (depending on machine you own), and actual spray assembly at the
bottom of the machine as pictured below (see picture for listing of parts).
***SPRAY ASSEMBLY MAINTENANCE***
To maintain the life of your pump/spray system, run clear water thru
your system at the end of each work day to wash out residue/chemical
to keep your pump and hoses clean and free of debris.
Do not run any harsh cleaning products thru the pump or any
product containing citric acid (ex. Anomaly). These products will
ruin your pump and damage the hoses.

GENERAL INFORMATION
• If your Trinity has an attached spray system, NEVER run harsh chemicals, or
any chemical containing citric acid, through your pump. It is very hard on the
system and hoses. DOING SO WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY
• At the end of every work day, run clear water through your spray system to
ensure your pump, hoses and all parts stay clean and clear of dirt, debris, and
any left over chemical.
• If you notice your machine rattling or making any unusual noise, with the
machine on, run your hand down the handle and hold the machine where the
problem seems to be coming from. In the area you have pinpointed, check all
screws/bolts, bearings, ect. To be sure everything is tight and that nothing is
broken or missing. Also check the pad driver bearing to be sure there is no
black grease and that the bearing is tight in the O-Ring. If you are still unable
to determine the problem after reading all corresponding topics in this manual,
IMMEDIATELY send us a video (with sound) and the camera going
completely around the machine so we can help determine the problem.
REGULAR MAINTENANCE:
• To ensure the life of your machine, tighten nuts and bolts on a regular basis
(weekly if you use your machine daily) in the following areas: handle bolts,
wheel bearings, motor cover and your pad driver
• Keep your red pad driver bristles free of debris to ensure it holds pads well.

SPRAY SYSTEM
Q: Just got machine but water won’t come out of spray system
A: Need to prime the pump. Squeeze spray trigger and at same time loosen
the clear nylon cap around the orange spray tip. May only need to do one side.
Q: Only trickle of water OR discolored water coming out of spray system
A: Remove spray tips & filters, get old toothbrush and scrub any residue off/out
of them. Even a bread tie or paper clip can be used to get crusted stuff out.
MACHINE VIBRATION
Q: Machine running roughly with hard vibration
A: With machine on, run hand down machine and let your hand rest where the
roughest vibration is. This helps isolate where the problem lies.
THROWING PADS
Q: Pad driver won’t hold pads or is throwing them
A: Have you ground down your pad driver? How long did you grind it? (See pg 6)
If yes, is your pad driver full of fibers and debris? If yes, clean it out. If no, is
your machine vibrating, making noise or running roughly? If yes, see below.
MACHINE MAKING NOISE OR RUNNING ROUGH
Q: Machine is making loud noises or running really rough
A: With machine on, run your hand down handle and hold the machine where
vibration/roughness is. In the pinpointed area, check all screws/bolts, bearings,
to be sure everything is tight & nothing broken or missing. If you still can’t pinpoint
issue, grab and feel pillow block bearings (see pg. 14). If machine stops making
noise or vibrating as you hold them, they are the problem. If not, does vibration
seem to be coming from pad driver? If yes, is pad driver center assembly close
to/over 2 years old? If yes, you probably need a new one. If not, check the pad
driver to be sure there is no black grease and the bearing is tight in the Oring
(See pg 14). If you are still unable to pinpoint problem, get as close to the area as
possible and take a video of the area with the sound on and email to us.
PAD DRIVER SEEMS LOOSE
Q: Pad driver with red bristles seems to be loose and/or wobbly
A: First make sure all bolts are tight and bearings are tight in the Oring. Next
check pad driver bearing to be sure there is no black grease and nothing looks
broken or missing. You probably need at least a new bearing or an entire Oring
assembly. If you aren’t sure, email us a video while you move the pad driver
around so we can help diagnose the problem. (see pg 14 for parts)
MACHINE KEEPS BLOWING BREAKERS
Q: Every time I use my machine the breakers/fuses are blowing
A: Common in older homes or buildings with outdated electrical system and/or
fuses. You need to change action of machine. See page 7 for instructions.
