True Bypa
ss or Buffered Bypass:
By removing the 4 screws and the ottom cover, you can see 2 slide switches. Use these to
choose true ypass or our Pure Tone uffered ypass for each channel.
Signal Routing:
The V3 H2O is truly 2 pedals in 1 housing. For asic setup, use the Echo input and the
Chorus output 1. You may also change the order of effects y plugging your guitar or ass
into the Chorus input, use a short ca le from the Chorus output 1 to the Echo input, and then
go out from the Echo output. For anything other than the asic setup, just think of the H2O as
2 pedals.
Chorus output 2 is a true stereo image of output 1 and can e used with a second amp.
Battery:
If you have a attery installed, make sure to unplug oth Input and Output when not using, so
you don’t drain the attery. Then again, why are you using a attery? Get a 1 SPOT!
Switch pop?
For the first 45 seconds after applying power to the pedal, the sound of foot-switch pop is
normal, due to the time it takes for power supply filter capacitors to charge fully. After that,
unlike ordinary true- ypass switches, switch pop goes away.
What is the Short/Long switch?
Short has a delay time range of a out 10mS – 250mS. Long makes the delay time range
a out 250mS – 500mS.
Can I get controlled oscillation from the Echo channel?
Yes! Just keep your hand on the Level kno so things don’t get out of control. For an example

What is the Chor-Vib knob?
That’s Chorus – Vi rato a reviated. It’s a mixer kno which allows that channel to e either
Chorus or Vi rato or something in etween.
What does the Width knob do?
It varies the amount of “wo le” in the Chorus and Vi rato, like the height of a wave.
What does the Depth knob do?
At maximum settings, it makes the Chorus very lush. At lower settings, it makes the Chorus
more light and phasey… almost like a flanger.
What is the Intensity switch?
It works with Width and Depth to adjust the overall intensity of the Chorus/Vi rato effect. This
used to e the Delay Time kno on previous H2O and Liquid Chorus pedals, ut no ody knew
what that meant, so we picked the 3 est kno positions and gave it a new name.
How should I use the Detune setting?
Start with the sample setting called Detuning Space and let your imagination go from there!
