Connection of the appliance to the power mains should be done by a licensed electrician
familiar with local safety regulations.
This appliance must be earthed by law.
Before connecting the a liance to the electrical su ly, check that the earth system
in your house is working correctly.
Check that unit oltage and power, marked on the rating plate applied on the appliance, are
correct for the supply.
If an appliance is not equipped with supply cable and plug, the power supply must be fitted
with a disconnect switch in which the distance between contacts permits total disconnection
in accordance with o er oltage category III, as required by installation regulations.
BE SURE THAT THE EARTH WIRE GREEN/YELLOW IS NOT INTERRUPTED BY THE
SWITCH.
IMPORTANT : The wire in the mains lead are so coloured :-
Green/yellow = earth :
Blue = neutral : N
Brown = li e : L
The wire coloured green/yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with letter “E” or by the earth symbol or coloured green or green/yellow.
The wire coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with letter N or
coloured black.
The wire coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with letter L or
coloured red.
The supply cable must not come into contact with any component the temperature of which
exceeds the ambient temperature by 50oC;
If a lug is used for connection, the lug to be connected to the su ly cable and the
socket to which it is connected must be of the same ty e (conforming to the
standards).
Easy access to the plug or the switch is ensured once the appliance is installed;
Ensure that there is sufficient cable allowed for any subsequent remo al of the unit.
If the plug is non-rewireable, pay attention to the following points:
The plug must ne er be cut by the supply cord. There is a shock hazard when this plug is
inserted in a socket outlet elsewhere in the house.
Ne er use the plug without the fuse co er fitted.
Referring to the pertinent spare parts, apply to the appliance’s supplier.
The manufacturer declines all res onsibility for any damage to ersons or things
