ATSC-100 Digital Terrestrial HDTV Receiver provides
an inexpensive yet high quality way to view local, off-ai
r
HDTV Stations on a non-HD TV Set. The unit has both
Component and Composite Video outputs as well as
Stereo Audio. Comprehensive On-Screen Displays allow
the user to control the unit as well as view the Electronic
Program Guide (EPG).
Multiple profiles can be created and stored so that the
image will be best for the type of programming viewed
and closed captioning is fully supported as well as V-
Chip parental content control. Automatic channel scan is
standard and individual channels can also be added
manually. Audio levels are fully adjustable and a
Favorite Channel list can be constructed so that it isn’t
necessary to scan through channels that are of no
interest to the viewer.
Displayed aspect ratios may be either 4:3 or 16:9 and
the unit can be controlled via panel mounted switches as
well as Infrared remote control.
A
transmitted resolution
display is provided so that the viewer can instantly
determine when High Definition programming is being
provided by the broadcaster. Output resolution can be
set to 480p, 720p or 1080i in the YPbPr mode as
needed for the type of display being used.
An optional indoor antenna, the ATSC-A50, is available
for those persons living near (<25 miles) to the television
transmitter who have no line of sight obstructions
present and do not wish to install an external antenna.
The antenna is designed to receive all channels and is
powered via an included DC power supply. It features a
built-in high gain amplifier
